Smaller then most and they only have a small end cap area for condiments , store has a bunch of the new self checkouts for folks paying with debit/credit card but only seem to keep 2-3 open and this location seems always busy ! Also lately they haven't had regular eggs so have to buy those organic or cage free and those can be pricey but there are some that are under $3. Most of Aldi brand products are very good and they have so many healthy options , specialty natural juices for very good prices. The location is also very accessible via bus or metro train and a small 10 minute walk.

I had to completely change my rating. I'm not sure if anyone has noticed or if Aldi has taken notice. There is a woman with 2 children out there rounding up carts to make a few quarters. While it's nice she's finding good ways to make "quarters" has Aldi offered this woman a job or any help?? If anyone sees this and can help that woman and her kids, please do. They are out there. She does not speak much English.Okay, so diving into the rating:Aldi has been known to be chaotic especially during peak hours. Today was one of those days, unfortunately. The cashier at number 4 that seemed to keep the security guard close or distracted from other duties, was just loud and rude. It was nice she was telling people other lines were open because this Aldi has bad visibility when it comes down to the lines and check out. I don't know who designed checkout but it was bad, now it's worse. The design was made without the employees or consumers in mind. Her tone was okay in the beginning, but as her shift continued, it seems like she was beyond frustrated that everyone kept piling up on her line. Understandably so. It wasn't her fault but patience is definitely key in those types of situations.Customer service - my experience on register 1 was a 10/10Prices: 10/10 - Affordable. I had forgotten how much money I could save here and come out with so much.Parking: Parking is complicated if you make it so. Those who have an issue with being so far away from the store will hold up the parking lot for a space. Those, like myself, I just want to park, get in and out. That's what it's about folks. Unless you have a ♿️ sticker. Then you need that Parking.

This location was recently renovated and it's lovely. They've placed the groceries at the entrance and the frozen items are on the other side of the store. The items are still the same (fantastic), the aisles are just a big bigger. The layout of the freezers seems to not flow well with heavy traffic, but perhaps this is just people being people. This is one of my favorite places to shop and I'm thoroughly enjoying my recent find of 13oz of baklava for $5.

all eight self checkouts have been unavailable for months and it's clear at this point there's no intention to fix them. honestly, the prices are no longer a justification for shopping here anymore as even Whole Foods has some items for cheaper now.

Main store I shop at and I’ve usually had a good experience. But lately they’ve been closing all their self checkouts, even when busy, leaving extremely long lines for the cashier checkout. Don’t understand why they can’t open the self checkouts

Great prices! Very limited selection for groceries. For example, they only sell lemons and limes by the bunch, it's really hard to find tortillas, and they only have 5-10 options for breakfast cereal.

Cashier name Jennifer needs some proper training. If you do not have the customer service etiquette do not sign up for a job that you’ll be dealing with customers all day long. Also the third party “ security” needs to get replaced. This incident happened today around noon. So if you want horrible customer service find Jennifer.

The prices here are good and the food selection is fine: it's definitely an improvement over the old version of the store. Unfortunately it seems that there is lots of mess around the stacks, making it hard to find some items.Sometimes it can be hard to navigate the parking lot and the checkout lines. When I went last there were 2 rather long lines for checkout. A third person finally came over to break up the lines, but only took people from one line to the new line, leaving the other line just as long.

I used to love shopping at Aldi but their standard had fallen. No more 100% fresh fruits and vegetables. I got a pack of pear that I had to return because most of them were rotten. The lines are so long because they have only 2 cashiers.

Wow! What a difference! Beautiful. It has changed so much since the last time that I were there. All the veggies was fresh, everything was easy to find. And I can't believe with all the seafood and meats that I brought, it was only 137.00. Amazing shopping experience, even with the staff. Good job Aldi! I have always loved shopping with you guys, but this was a whole different animal.

It was a nice visit. It wasn't very crowded in the store and the the staff is very knowledgeable about what the store has to offer. I enjoy the the times that I'm gone in there. I enjoy attaining items that are here today and gone tomorrow That's a category that I am surely to take a look at before I leave the store I was able to get some warm slippers before the winter came last year.

They have everything at anybody's budget. Conveniently located close to Metro (West Hyattsville). Store management keeps this place well supplied and cashiers could be nicer, but I rather have speedy lines service in which they are fast! Parking lot very limited and difficult to park when driving a pickup truck or van. Btw, there's an old man that picks the carts back when you're done shopping.. the sweetest old man from a northeast african country that talks to you with his hands. He has a leg impediment, but he works hard to earn his little money. I tip him from time to time when I can because he really fights hard for his money and I do admire that.

This location has improved tremendously since being remodeled. Clean and well-organized. Can't beat the prices for many products. 4 stars because there are some produce items you can't get here and they are sometimes out of the things I'm looking for.
