When I walked in to join, I honestly wasn't sure. New gym, can be a little weird. But this was the best decision I ever made. I do classes, which are like group training sessions and included in your membership. The people have become friends. They are encouraging and don't let you slack off, which I need sometimes. I have seen changes in my body that I never saw at my last gym. I look forward to my work outs now. I would 100% recommend this gym.

Go to this Gym. I’ve had membership at Planet, Golds->Retro, BAAC and got to say HDG Fitness Center has EVERYTHING you could need regardless of your fitness goals.My favorite part is you get this home-towny community driven feel. They are here to help in whichever capacity despite where you are at on your journey.. plus open 24 hour!!

The Fitness Center is a wonderful gym, with an amazing staff that truly cares about seeing not only physical growth, but also personal growth. The gym offers a variety of classes to fulfill your specific goals—something many gyms don’t do. They also support other small businesses in the area, showing support to many others in the community. I highly recommend The Fitness Center in Havre de Grace!

The most immaculately clean gym I’ve been to with all the equipment you can think of. The staff are all friendly and extremely knowledgeable. It’s the first gym I’ve ever joined where the staff helps me reach my fitness goals without making me sign up and pay for personal sessions or training. The classes are a ton of fun and the prices are very reasonable. The most important thing to recognize about this fitness center is the incredibly welcoming community that it has created - everyone knows and encourages each other, and there is NO judgement no matter the goals. Great place for any fitness level. I would never go anywhere else!

I feel like the owner treats people differently based upon your status at the gym. I once approached her with a concern of racial issues within the gym. But because the person who did it was one of her clients she refused to do anything about it and when I told her I no longer wanted my card charged she threatened to continue to charge it because of the contract however nowhere in the contract did it say I would be treated differently.

Gym is welcoming no matter your fitness level. Owner is amazing and has clean equipment for just about any workout. Been to Y’s, PF’s, Anytimes, and LA’s. This, by far is the best. I wasn’t influenced to write this, it’s just a fact.

Found my new home gym. Love this place and the owner is amazing. It's a dog friendly gym too which is amazing. Nothing like a couple of good boys to help you lift.

Family atmosphere gym with great support on whatever your goals may be not just from staff but fellow patons as well. Reasonable price for my monthly membership which gives me 24/7 access along with all the classes I can attend.

The staff are nice. The equipment is cool. It's a good sized place. Smaller than plant fitness but bigger than anytime fitness in Bel Air.
