We can actually drive from Annapolis to here, food shop, drive back and still save money. The cities are extremely bad in every way, including food prices. Thanks prez bite-me. This store is actually stocked too. Very nice.

Hamburger rotton next day even though date good for 2 days.. and had a rude cashier. Store looks clean but bad smell coming from back. I love shopnsave in Martinsburg. Never gotton anything bad there and people are not rude at all. Store is older but Im Gonna stick with the Martinsburg store.

Cashiers are always friendly & attentive. They'll help you find something if you can't locate it on your own & they don't act bothered by it. Checkout is fairly speedy & they'll open additional lanes if they get super busy

I love Save-A-Lot, the prices are cheaper than most places. We bought corn and it was so sweet, and the price was right four for a dollar. They also have very nice meet there. And their milk prices are good. They also have an electric rider for anyone who cannot walk through the store. We went today and it has the same wonderful prices and the same wonderful meat. good price 89 cents a pound for a Pork picnic roast. Can't beat it anywhere.

Wonderful prices .and they made it Easter to walk through.but they did rise the price on milk.went from $1.50 to $3.00 agallon.for no pageant reason. They still rising the prices..I guess it's the norm

The only reason I gave 3 stars before was because it's an okay store, nothing wrong but nothing great. It has everything you need. Also the service has always been 100% and you are committed to customers. Doing the best to provide affordable options, especially in times like these.

It's a small town grocery store. It has all the basic ingredients and food that you would need to make dinner and the prices are pretty fair with good deals dancing across changing products each week. It's not a super store but it is not inconvenient either. It is what it is and the employees are helpful and friendly. I have no complaints

I went to the Save a lot in Hancock today and ran into an issue where I needed the managers attention from fault of my own. I had my 3 year old daughter with me in line and Allan had such a kind heart and was so willing to help. He was very friendly, nonjudgmental, and really went above and beyond to help someone in need with no questions asked. It is so hard to find good customer service and Alan really did his part and helped a mother out. I will be forever grateful for his generosity and he really needs to be commended.

I shop at save a lot weekly.. The ladies who work the registers have become very familiar with my kids, and they're very friendly. They crack jokes with the kids, are very friendly, and as always, helpful. Hardly ever do I wait in line.. Everyone local to this town uses save a lot and becomes a regular.

It's a Save-A-Lot, so you know what you're getting. The prices are great for saving money in a pinch. I just wouldn't recommend grabbing any meats from here. If you do, make sure to cook it the same day and check the dates on everything. I've ended up grabbing bad food at least once or twice. Also, the meats tend to be extremely mushy, almost paste-like sometimes. Other than that, it's perfectly serviceable.

Clean, organized and well stocked/ my only complaint here is the cashier wasn’t very friendly but the business as a whole was a nice store. Nice produce for the area and a variety of other things.

Really friendly employees, decent prices, and the store was super clean and organized. I like that it’s on the smaller side — good for getting basics without having to find your way through a giant maze or walk up and down 29 aisles.

Prices are pretty cheap, and you aren't as tempted to buy unnecessary things like in bigger stores. The meats are local, great quality and cheap. They do have brand names, but they can be hit or miss. The store brands are comparable.

It's ok, they rearranged their store and now sell half the merchandise! It's great because the local food lion ( the only other grocery store in town) is only 2/3 the size of a normal food lion which means now both stores match! They sell less for more!
