My husband and I were driving through the area and searched for a deli and this place came up. At first we didn’t think it was open till someone came out of the it, so when in doubt just check the doors first. We were welcomed with friendly smiles and greetings. You go to the counter and place your order. You have the option for carry out or dine in. It is not a big area so the seating place is probably about 4-5 tables.My husband got a chicken ranch wrap. Bu the way, they make their own ranch and it’s delicious. I suggest asking for a bit more on the side to use as a dipper. I got cheese steak with everything on it. They asked if I wanted raw onions or sautéed. Now that surprised me because I love raw onions and this was the first time to be given and option when getting cheesesteak. So we sat down, and just looked around the area. It’s a cute place, we later found out that owners are new, they just recently purchased the deli from another family. So they are still trying to get some exposure, so please spread the word.Now let’s get to tasting. The food was delicious!!! I will say this is the best cheese steak I have ever had! My husband loved his wrap! P.S they are big portions of flavor and meat! I was not able to finish mine but my husband didn’t complain because he happily ate it. The drinks are bottled, and they have Hershey ice cream if you still have space for dessert.If we ever chance by this place again, we are definitely stopping by! P.S. on their menu they have crab soup, we saw online that it was the best soup. We went there around 130, they opened at 11, and it was sold out by then. l. But we did get their chicken gnocchi and it was amazing! so I can only imagine their crab soup. So if you go there on a Sunday, go in early for the soup :)

We came in about a half hour before closing and they could not have been more pleasant! We had been driving 12 hours and were hungry! The crab soup was absolutely delicious. I would probably make that my meal next time! I had the wild hog which is similar to an Italian sub and pretty good. Then we got 2 dozen cake balls that I thought were pretty yummy!

I researched local eateries when visiting family in the area. This one, I have not visited. This quaint little place is a must try! I ordered an Italian wedgie (pizza crust baked with meats and cheese, removed from oven then topped with sub toppings and folded in half like a sandwich). This had crisp crust, fresh toppings and sub dressing that was on point!

If you are looking for a great deli to eat at during your drive to western Maryland, stop in and get full on delicious eats. Great selection of freshly made sandwiches and meals. Friendly owners and staff, the kind that treat all customers like family. Be ready to be full and sleepy after your meal.

We were driving north on I70 towards Hancock around lunch time and I didn’t want fast food so we spotted this place online. When we walked in I knew it was going to be good, and it didn’t disappoint! Great little small town deli, all our sandwiches were really good. Definitely worth the couple mile drive off the highway. If you want premium-mediocre, get the artisan something-something at fast-food-are-us, if you want real people making real food, this is the place.

First time ordering a Wedgie sandwich and it was delicious! We ordered the Italian and the Club and each was stuffed to overflowing with our choosen toppings. We started our meal with a cream of crab soup, that was out of this world. Bisque-like with a generous amount of crab. We're already craving another bowl! Service was prompt and our entire meal was on the table in less than 10 minutes, even though there was a large family and a couple of to go orders in line before us. We will be back!

Great little place off the beaten path. We were just passing thru and I'm glad we stopped. We got the chicken bacon ranch wrap (excellent ranch made in house) and the steak and cheese. Portions were massive and all the ingredients were fresh. We will make a point to stop by next time we are in the area for sure!

I tried Country Crossroads for the first time, and I'm glad I did. I will definitely be a repeat customer after trying their Italian sub. I also recommend their cream of crab soup...delicious. It's been a long time since I found a reasonably priced place with the fresh and quality ingredients they delivered. They have quite a lot to choose from, and I'm looking forward to my next visit; the baked goods and desserts looked wonderful. The customer service was also a pleasant surprise, very freindly and refreshing in today's fast pace world. Thanks!

Nice country road drive. The staff are working hard to make this new business work and to put out good food. Still shaking out some issues but we'd like to try it again. Several tables to sit down but most locals seem to come by daily for to-go. They try to offer some different menu items.No deep fryer or ice machine yet but lots of cold drinks.The 3 of us made a special trip out to try it. We tried 3 different items and enjoyed them. The salad is nice and big.I did not like the guy bringing his dog in as it was not a therapy dog.

I cannot give this place enough stars! I love the icing they make. Some kind of whipped butter cream icing, idk but its well worth every calorie. Definitely reccommend the buffalo pizza too. Ill be back to try more for sure.

150% would recommend going to see the lively and great people at sandy Jaks! Has the best and I mean best cream of crab soup, make great subs and sandwiches and I whole heartedly believe the absolute best pizza I believe I've ever had! Basically a one stop shop have excellent service,excellent menu items and even a deli for the rest of your week!

Support local small businesses! Sandy Jaks has great food! The La Diablo cheesesteak is awesome. Hoagies are perfect and the chicken salad is the bomb!! Best place in town!! Used to ride my bike here and spend my allowance on their yummy food as a girl and now I get to bring my kids. Love their subs and cake balls and of course, customer service is superb.
