My son is from Winchester VA and was in the market for a full size 4-wheel drive crew cab pickup truck. He heard an ad for Hancock Chevrolet on the radio, so he called Ryan. Ryan said he has few to choose from. We visited and test drove one, but it was not exactly what he needed in his price range. So, we went again a week later, and they had exactly what he wanted. We were there less than 1.5 hours and: scanned the truck from top to bottom, did a test drive, then started with negotiating a fair deal to which both were satisfied. This also include purchasing the GM extended warranty and even a trip to the gas station. Ryan was probably one of the most honest and forth right salesmen we have encountered, from the few we already spoke with, and was open with any details about the truck and gave us a bit of history on the truck. Very little haggling on price and my son was very satisfied with the truck and overall value he was getting! The other dealerships we visited did not budge on price and almost to the point of being rude, so working with Ryan was like a breath of fresh air and put out trust in him & this dealership - if we need anything in the future, we will be sure to go there again! Mike was friendly as well and we were at ease with this business!!

Found vehicle on internet, contacted Hancock to get more information, received prompt reply. Drove over two hours on Saturday to test drive 2023 Traverse. We received friendly, courteous and fair treatment from Gary and Ryan. Straight talk , no pressure dealings. Left with car we wanted in less than two hours. Well worth the long drive from eastern PA. Love the car. We both said it was the easiest car purchase EVER ! Thanks.

I found the truck I wanted on the internet and Hancock Chevrolet had it on their lot, the only issue was I was 2 1/2 hours.I gave it a shot, called, spoke to Gary and we were able to come to a tentative deal over the phone. I drove down to the dealership the following Saturday to test drive the truck and let Gary look over the vehicle I was trading in. We were both happy with each vehicle and we closed the deal with a hand shake.I loath the process of buying a vehicle because you usually have the salesman having to “run” this by his manager in hopes of getting a better deal for you and you end up loosing a whole day bickering back and forth. There was none of that with Gary (Ryan handling the financing) as we were out of the dealership and on the road back home in a couple hours. They both were honest, straight forward, respectful and just a pleasure dealing with. I can honestly say this was the best vehicle purchasing experience I have ever had and would strongly recommend Hancock Chevrolet if you are in the market.Thank you Gary and Ryan, the truck is running like a champ.

I bought a new truck there in November 2023. Love the truck. Today I had a small issue with a dash light. (Not their fault ). I drove there, service tech and salesman met me. Service tech tried to work his magic but failed. After diagnostic it was a computer issue. They drove me home and 2 hours later it was fixed and delivered back to me. All this and I had NO appointment. Great experience!

Purchased a new 2023 Silverado from them today. The buying process was quick and simple. I saw they had a truck I wanted, contacted them on the phone, within 15 minutes I was given an out the door price, picked up the truck 2 days later with no surprises. No one tried to pedal magical undercarriage juice or a snake oil car wash that comes with a “free” scratch / dent repair contract. As far as a car buying experience goes it was as good as it can get! A couple hours into a full day drive, I picked up a screw in one of my tires. I was passing through Hancock and pulled over to look for where I could get the tire patched. I called Hancock Chevrolet and they said they'd assign a service tech as quickly as possible and offered to help get my car to them if needed. I was able to get there on my own.I was there for less than an hour while they patched the tire and got me back on the road. No issues with the tire since! Everyone was friendly and efficient. They even let me stay in the showroom with my dog who was traveling with me.

Beware of buying a vehicle from this dealership. Everyone comes off as friendly but their true colors eventually show. I bought a vehicle that ended up having problems. Some of the issues were fixed but the dash was not. This car was supposed to have been purchased from them new and traded in but in reality it had two owners. Seemed to be one story after another and instead of getting answers you were sent on wild goose chases and management in meetings they promised calls back that u never received. Not reliable people to deal with so be careful if u decide to purchase from them. I am stuck with a lemon and they don't seem to care even though they made promises to handle the situation. Hope if u do purchase your transition is a better one.

Low pressure tire light went on enroute from Cleveland to Baltimore on brand new tires.We were directed to Hancock Chev. They couldn't have been nicer. Checked eveything and had us out in 40 min.,and a $15.00 fee. ☆☆☆☆☆☆Thanks

We broke down coming through hancock, we found hancock Chevrolet, called them up they got our truck in and started working on it quickly. They are a very friendly company they even gave us rides back and fourth to our hotel until they had our truck fixed!

Family owned and the customer based is treated just the same as family or friends - I dare you to find a lower labor rate that is actually a dealership !! genuinely concerned about customers worries and requests. pick up and drop off at no additional charge. i was pleasantly surprised at the home town feel at my first service ! i would recommend to anyone that asks, only down side is hours of operation- but again family oriented so I am sure this is why they are what they are

We had a check engine light come on as we were passing through on a long trip. We were in a motorhome and feeling kind of vulnerable since we didn't know anyone in the area. Even though he couldn't fit our RV in their building to work on it (an our RV is not a Chevrolet), Tyler connected his computer up and told us we didn't have anything to worry about. No charge for the diagnostic. Thanks to Douglas Chevrolet for helping us when they had nothing to gain.

Offer great deals. Our family, my parents, myself and our daughters, has dealt with Douglas for over 80 years. We have never had a problem that they wouldn’t correct. We are currently driving four vehicles bought from this family owned business. Their staff is professional yet personal and provide quantity vehicles and service. I only wish they were still a Chrysler dealership.

We were driving through Maryland and unexpectedly something popped in our engine. We were lucky enough to take the first exit we saw and ended up at Douglas Chevrolet with a few minutes until they closed. The guy there took a look and because they didn't have the exact part we needed, made a temporary fix and explained the issue. He didn't charge anything because it was so quick and he was very nice and respectful the whole time.

My husband and I were traveling on I-70 in our Subaru when we realized that one of the shields underneath our car was missing the needed bolts for it to stay in place safely and we had to find a dealership fast!! We found Douglas Chevy in Hancock. When we arrived they were closing but they still had one mechanic there who helped us. He put in new bolts and never charged us for anything! We even asked multiple times what the bill would be. It was so nice to see how people are willing to help others instead of telling us to go somewhere else. If you need anything, even while traveling, Douglas Chevrolet is your place!! Thank you again to those who helped us. :)

Overpriced, didn’t fix all the break lines like they said they would, had to get the rest of the lines replaced but used a local shop who didn’t charge an arm and a leg for it. Horrible will not recommend ever using a Chevy dealership for service unless it’s under warranty and free.
