I drive from Bowie md to This place. this place is amazing and they the only one that I know up on that end sell my favorite potatoes chip that i always love as a kid nibble with Gibble potatoes chips and every time I get a chance to go up there is always clean in that place and the staff is so nice and they just about having everything you need need in there I just love itThanks to everyone who work at this place. It’s a great Martins, but I really just want to give a shoutout to the employees- especially the cashiers. I’ve never had a bad experience with any of them, they’ve all been so polite and kind. Ken (I think that’s his name!) especially is always so welcoming and kind. I’m sure the staff sees a lot of craziness but they still manage to be wonderful!

I love Martins especially this one! I use self checkout and there is always super friendly gentlemen there to help that is super knowledgeable and fun! He needs a raise he deals with a lot of ppl that are not the nicest and he still puts a smile on every day.

Has more than the Martin's in Smithsburg. I like coming here to shop because they haven't gotten rid of the things my family and I like. It's frustrating to go into a Martin's in your neighborhood and find they've gotten rid of something you've always used. The Martin's on the Dual Highway hasn't, and the people are wonderful.

Store is decently stocked. It is easy to navigate through. Prices about average for these days although there were some good sales going on. Staff is friendly. Self-service check out needs to go, or just keep two or three lanes of it. It's a horrible thing no matter where it is. Reviewed on June 2023.

Good food selection especially in the produce section. The store is clean and usually stocked pretty well. My biggest complaint is that the self check out needs to be streamlined big time. I'm pretty tech savvy and I almost always have to have an associate come fix something. Usually because I didn't bag something just right or I was too fast or too slow. Martins, if you want us to check ourselves out you have to trust that we're not trying to steal and relax your self check out system.

Latly I’ve been having any an every issue with this pharmacy which is crazy cause I usually never do but all month this month an the prior I’ve had non stop issues with martins pharmacy specifically with Zara probably didn’t spell her name correctly but she is very rude ! Very unprofessional! Tells you one thing an then it changes rapidly which I’m almost certain is based off simply of me inconveniencing her the way she speaks to customers is honestly sad y’all need to do better especially being she was the higher head of the bunch today very disappointed an disgusted wouldn’t even advice having further conversations with such a individual she won’t let ya speak if you wanted to basically told me bye an it is what it is VERRRYYYY RUDE AN unprofessional!!! When a customer or patient is talking I should not be cutt off shut down a dismissed I should NOT be spoken to like I’m annoying an employee whom is being paid to do their job ! One thing I can say is if it continues a higher up branch will be contacted !! Personally DO BETTERRRR professionalism is key an communication I couldn’t even barly get a word out with out being rudely dismissed if I could rate 0 I would

Their pre-made foods are not cared for. They are dried out and not appetizing at all. All it takes is a little stirring and wiping the area and they'd sell a lot more. I approached the Chinese food area along with another customer, both of us just looked at each other, remarked on how inedible it look looked and walked away. For little effort they would have gained 2 salesIt’s 2023 now. I don’t go there too often, the prices are high. It’s a small store, so I can’t expect a lot of variety. But they are part of the Giant brand chain. I can buy the smallest most common thing that costs $2 at another market down the street will cost $3 -$3.50 here. They put strawberries and such on “sale” for buy 3 get - free at $4.99 each? I have no use for 4 quarts of strawberries, unless I enjoy moldy fruit taking up 15% of my refrigerator space. I seriously don’t know what they are thinking. I haven’t seen the issues with the ready-made food. But I don’t visit that section. There’s really no help when you need it and you can pass 3 employees or more and never get a smile or offer for help

Typically in-and-out in terms of lines and having to wait. The store could use some upgrades in lighting/cleanliness as it always seems dreary and smells like seafood ha. The workers are always nice though

Grocery pick up was fast and easy. I was delighted that only 5 of my items were out and only 1 could not be substituted for. Considering the mess in the supply chain I was pleasantly surprised. Danni was very helpful and professional loading up the car. Great job!

The bakery always does an amazing job on cupcakes and cakes but they saved the day On Saturday morning when I had ordered an elaborate cake from another baker and she didn't make the cake. I ran to Martins to see what can be done in such short notice. The lady (which i cannot recall her name) saved my 2 year olds birthday party and created cupcakes shaped in the number 2 and decorated it to go with his race car theme. I am very grateful to her. Everyone loved it and it taste good!

The pharmacy staff at the Dual Highway store is WORLD CLASS. I am a chronic pain patient and have epilepsy, and they are always available to answer any questions I have and to give advice when you need it. I could not have gotten through the last 2 years without them.

This is the worst store... They are rarely stocked with what we need or want, you cannot maneuver the isles because either the robot is in the way or the team has got charts all over the place to stock OR Store is crawling with 3rd party shoppers or the in store online shoppers. Produce always looks horrible, and the tubs they use to carry the produce look like they were used to store motor oil. Don't even get me started with the deli, one woman always complaining about working and complaining about customers, doesn't listen or even try to get order request correct. Like, they don't understand what shredded or chipped means!! I avoid the deli here because they are mostly rude, don't listen and are extremely slow. Never enough registers open, so people go to self checkout and take up 2 registers to get checked out faster. Price tags are not correct, or there isn't one there to begin with. I have worked in everything from retail to grocery stores, Stocking, deli, register, you name it I did it. I have never shopped/worked at a store that was so poorly run. For the love of god, I watched an employee walk in to the bathroom with their apron on, and then go back to work with the same apron!!! That is gross!!! GET IT TO GETHER!!! So tired of this place.....

Great store, their produce and seafood always seem fresh and stocked. Lots of the dinner to go options pre made and a wide variety. Good prices, friendly staff. Some of the self checkouts can be a pain too use if you have a lot of groceries.

Not my favorite location, it's always busy. Adequate parking, security at nights in the lot. Produce is fresh, and pricing stays fair with other stores. Staff is friendly and there is regularly 5/6 registers open to accommodate the amount of business they do. Never had an issue with unavailable items or bad meat/produce. Small hot food available, salad bar, deli, seafood, bakery, florist and pharmacist. Location is clean. Bathrooms at the front.

Found all I needed. I am happy that I got my Turkey certificate. Now I will have a yummy turkey for Thanksgiving. Soda is getting super expensive but they had a nice deal of 12 for 4 6 packs. Not great but better than usual prices.

This spot is always busy. Besides that the staff at least when I go here have always been helpful friendly and knowledgeable. The produce staff informed me on a product that I was searching for and made me aware of the change. So I was able to make my decision on another product. This place is always stocking up on products and produce. Always a great selections on my items.

I was working for this company couple months ago they call the police on me the police brutalized me beat me up and nothing do not come out of it I’m just letting everyone know please do not shop at the supermarket heavy black person that work at the supermarket they quit I did leave the supermarket the one on dwell eyewear Violet my rice my rights store manager act like I know him I did not know him but it’s all good I’m just letting the old world know the old community know what they did to me it’s like these guys put something on my record each time I try to get a job I get denied I’m just letting everyone know about this company they are super races store manager team lead and everyone that work there is white they do not like Black people

A disappointing experience at the deli this morning. There were 5 associates working yet only 1 was helping customers. This associate seemed put upon and not friendly. Unfriendly associates seem the norm in this deli. A manager was informed and said she would address the issue. I like the store jus not going to the deli.

Great selection, particularly in produce and in their cheese offerings. Also impressed by varieties of olives and pickles. Superior quality meat. Outstanding customer service from the cashier and at the seafood counter. Clean, organized, helpful signage. Self-checkout available.
