We visit Longmeadow Animal Hospital frequently and I can truly say from the bottom of my heart that I absolutely love them. My pets are treated with so much love, the staff is so welcoming and kind. You cannot find more intelligent, caring, and passionate people to treat your animals. If finances are a problem they can recommend excellent pet insurance.They are absolutely one of a kind. Thank you guys so much!

Our pets have always had great care at Longmeadow Animal Hospital. The vets take the time to explain to us in layman’s terms what is going on and we’ve never felt rushed. Vet techs and staff have always been professional and kind, particularly when it came time to say goodbye to one of our fur babies. And, we love Dr. G. 😊

Wonderful staff. Were very helpful and supportive. We had to put our 14 year old dog down worst day ever ! They were very accommodating and let us take as much time as we needed before and after it was done. They also had someone come in the room with him when we were leaving .... she said " I don't let our friends be alone " and that really made us feel better. Thank you Longmeadow Animal Hospital for helping us through our grieving process.

my 11 year old guinea pig needed a wellness exam since he hasn't had one in a few years and I definitely plan on coming back! Dr. Gurshman and vet tech Lexi were amazing at handling my grouchy guinea pig to make him comfortable for his exam, provided amazing advice that was informative while still being empathetic. They were honest and patient with me and all of my questions. It was an amazing experience while being way more affordable than other exotic vets. the receptionists were all very kind as well. the facility was clean and enjoyable to be in. thank you again longmeadow!!

Absolutely wonderful animal hospital! Very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable providers. Gave us over a decade of excellent and compassionate care for our beloved golden retriever, Rocket. When he was very sick and dying, they helped us through the end of life process with such care and support, allowed us time with him and let us all be together with him outside as he went peacefully to sleep. It was a painful experience but they made it so beautiful and memorable. They were there for us with such kindness every step of the way. Dr. Melissa Horman and Jade were amazing! Truly love and appreciate them!!

I’d like to take a moment to Personally thank long meadow animal hospital. I have already called them. We lost our old boy Boss 12-28 unexpectedly. Long meadow is our vet. Now we rushed him to Mountain View animal emergency, where he passed when my husband arrived with him. They were also outstanding during this process, I’m assuming they reached out to long meadow to let them know boss passed away. We received this card in the mail yesterday. Signed by all the doctors and workers. They have been our vet for all our pets. I just think it’s nice they took the time to do this. I know people like to always post negative things about places,so I wanted to share a positive.

I just got a puppy, and the Receptionist that just answered my call was very rude. Wasn't willing to give me options to schedule my new puppy. I had to tell her that the puppy has been abandoned and needs immediate attention, and had to prompt to tell me how far out was the scheduling, and that's when she was finally telling me the availability. Terrible customer service.

Terrible service. Took my dog and best little buddy for his last moments. He was in so much pain and it was time to let him go. As I'm sitting with my dog before they even examine him they want payment. Terrible place to take ur furry family. No empathy at all. Pay them and get out service.

I had my cat neutered for hundreds of dollars less than the receptionist told me they charge. It was, in fact, almost 200 less than she wanted as a deposit. She said it was because they use more pain meds. The cat might weigh 5 lbs.

I love bringing my furbabies here. The staff is caring, kind, and takes the time to answer questions - and they love your pet as much as you do. I would highly recommend them to anyone with kitties.

Our dogs like the staff here! We like that the waiting room isn’t crowded and appointments run on time. We missing the boarding option, but continue using the thorough vet services.

The staff, techs, and providers here are excellent. When I brought my cats here they were very caring and helpful. Dr. Horman and Dr. Gurshman especially were so thoughtful and gave me all options and went above and beyond for us when my cat Stella had a very complex case. Ultimately when I brought my cats in to cross the rainbow bridge, they were so kind and gave us the time we needed to stay and say goodbye. If I have other pets in the future, I will definitely bring them here.

Love, love, love the Vets! Love the prices and love how they treat my pitbulls. They could use some friendlier/helpful people at reception. Watched me try to get my 125lb pitbull in the doors to no avail and just watched. He was not feeling well and def didn't want to be there!!! He's not mean, he just kept pulling backwards trying to run for the car! Lol Not one person said, "need some help?", "anything I can do"? Luckily another client was coming in and did everything she could to help me get him in!!! I know it's not their job but it's humanity, common courtesy. Even if the phone is ringing! Ugh! Otherwise, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!! Hands down best vet my babies have seen!

I have been with them a very long time, then they lost my animal records and screwed up my accounts. I then made a neuter appt for 2 months out and that miraculously disappeared from their records. Anita was supposed to find out why, she never called me back. Then I called for a preoperative appointment with shots and check why he has diarrhea and they logged me as a health welfare check. I called today, Anita told me he needs multiple meds and needs his shots still, after I had told them I wanted everything he needed for his neuter already. I told her she never got back to me about fixing their charts. Long story short, I was very pleasant until she kept acting like the Nasty B that she always is and costing me more money. I have spent many thousands there over the years. I love the vets, but when you can't get past the B<%$# at the front desk, it doesn't help. I'm sure I'm not the only one that Anita has lost them business to.

I have been taking my dogs here for 2 years now. Please be assured, this vet practice does not care about your pet near as much as they care about money.I lost my dog’s prescription for Prozac, and I asked for a refill. The vet refused to give her even a short temporary supply and insisted that I got my dog in for bloodwork first…Before providing any medication at all. I literally asked for a few day’s worth.Let me tell you, I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner, and I prescribe Prozac all day long. Not only is not providing a bridge refill UNHEARD of but there’s no clinical indication for the CBC that they insist on ordering yearly as a *condition* for giving my dog Prozac. It is never indicated or necessary specifically for the prescribing of Prozac in humans. Why are dogs different? What are they looking for exactly, in a CBC? Where is the literature that Prozac impacts a CBC? It is all about money. To let my dog potentially go through withdrawal because it has been a few months since we lined their pocket is appalling. I understand needing clinically indicated, evidence based blood work routinely in meds that pose a risk, but that’s just not what is happening here. They are holding one of the oldest SSRIs ransom for my animal because they want to charge me for a test that has limited if any evidence, at the risk of my dog withdrawing. That tells you everything you need to know about them. I will be taking my dogs elsewhere.

On April 10th, we took our cat to get her nails trimmed. Our cat doesn't like being at the vet and becomes feisty. She usually growls and hisses. The doctor and assistants usually are able to handle her. Since Covid, we aren't allowed back in the room with her, which I don't like. This time, when they brought her back to us after they were done, they said she was extremely feisty. They made us buy an anxiety pill to give to her right before bringing her in again or they wouldn't take her. The doctor was very rude. We feel that the doctor and assistants did not want to deal with her. We want to be able to go back with our cat and help keep her calm. There's no reason why we can't go back. At least one of us. We have taken our cats there for many years and this was the worst we have been treated. Our cat is 17 years old and is a very calm and friendly cat at home. We feel the staff is not qualified enough to handle difficult animals.
