Please teach you staff how to deal with theft, although theft is not right you can not threaten to commit bodly harm to people (blonde man with ponytail) and if you was Management shame on you. You disrupted your whole store for someone that was not arguing, not raising his voice and willing to leave. I have been coming to this store or years and never once seen this kind of reaction it caused me anxiety and it was over board how you kept yelling, cursing and threatening someone that was long gone. To me you have anger issues and should not be working in customer service. To the rest of the staff that I have encountered you have always been great and I hope that employee's behavior doesn't ware onto you.

I was surprised at the selection of items in this store. I've never been to Family Dollar before. I originally came in to add cash to my Chime debit card, which they do here for a fee of $3.95. There was a lot of great cleaning products and laundry soaps, a car section, frozen food, pantry items, personal hygiene, cold beverages and snacks..but my favorite part is the candy isle! I found all of my favorite candy here, even the more obscure ones and VERY reasonably priced! I'll totally be back this week to get some more. The staff was nice too. Thanks Family Dollar.

Staff was very rude and dismissive, store wreaked of bleach so bad it instantly gave us a headache as soon as we walked in.

I go to this store everyday literally lol. The girls here, are nice, and know what they are doing. They are cordial, and know about the merch that they sell. Store looks great for there usually only being 2 people on shift at a time. There is a little something for everyone here. I love the location, very convenient to run in for paper towels, dog food, or cereal. When I’m out of something I can swing by on way home from office. Today I popped in around 7pm. Evidently, the security feature in door malfunctioned. It beeped when a neighbor and I each entered. And when other patrons entered. When leaving it beeped. I returned to the counter & had my items checked, left, and it beeped again. Tested door w/ one item each time, being a good sport. After the 3rd trial & beeping I was directed back to counter. Thankfully, as a 12 pack of soda and grocery bag starts to get cumbersome when practicing exiting. At counter, staff was very pleasant. She searched grocery bag. My pockets of jacket were checked. My handbag was searched. Was permitted to leave, door didn’t beep. Manager apoligized. I smiled and wished all well. No issues, except I know an old bag of cough drops had opened up on my handbag the other day, so the manager had her work cut out checking my hand bag. In the end, I came home with my $6.00 purchase. It was tiring. I need to pencil in more time if going to dollar store.

I just went to family dollar store on pennsylvania ave and bought a 3 piece set for 27.99 got home no fitted sheet tried to call but number is disconnected and I tried to call another store to get the number and literally acted like I was speaking in tongs. The phone number on the receipt is wrong and I'm going to have to catch a cab to go back over there I guess that's what I get for buying sheets at a dollar store but I should at least checked out the product first b4 I left. It's bad enough there products are almost always missing something but this is too much. Let you know the outcome now I have to pay 12.00 round trip just to return sheets that were not properly returned in the first place. What a joke. Smh

I asked why the restrooms were locked because my three year old had to go and was rudely told the restrooms aren’t for the public. It clearly looked like a public restroom having two different rooms (men’s and women’s) and a sign on the wall that says restrooms. If that’s the case put a sign up. I go there regularly since it’s close to home but that place has gone downhill since after they remodeled. some of the staff there are always rude and act like they hate their job. Will not be back.

2/7/2016 Staff was extremely rude and disrespectful. 3 staff members including manager were standing by register complaining about customers and making jokes about customers with food stamps right in front of multiple customers. This location was out of cash and not offering cash back, when I asked nicely where is the next closest location that offers cash back their response was " we don't know, we work at dollar general figure it out yourself" and when another employee asked the manager the same question her response was " I don't know I work here and I dont care". The young staff there always has an attitude and when asked questions always reply answer with disrespectful attitudes.

Its has alittle bit of everything u might need. The curb appeal of the place is very dirty as there is trash everywhere. Manager should have a employee go out to sweep and pick the trash thats is in front of the store. Its gross....
