I really like this place. So glad we found it. It seems like a place you'd go to in a younger town. It seems they have everything perfect. Food, service and atmosphere are amazing. I highly recommend this place. I'm glad we checked out a little late at the motel so we could make it here on a Sunday a little after 10am when they opened. Lovely Cafe.

My girlfriend and I stopped in for dinner with our two dogs. There was a bit of a wait to get a table because they had just received two large parties, but it's within an artist village that's nice to walk around. The service was excellent our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. If I'm in the area I'll definitely stop in again.

Hidden Jem.I visited this cafe twice once in fall and second in snow.I love the location, it's like in the middle of mountain and right near to Casselman river, surrounded by natural beauty.I am vegetarian so no idea about meat here I tried mushroom fry and coffee loved it.Staff is very friendly. If you are in Pittsburgh and you are looking for a nice drive and coffee you should visit this place.Take a stroll on Casselman bridge and just walk around the area.Vegetarian options: Salad and one of the mushroom dish i don't remember.

The cafe is super cute, it’s a joy to just hang out here and it has equally good menu and service as well! Everybody (employees and customers) were super nice when me and my 2 year old were hanging out here for a few hours on our way from tNJ to WV! I wish this place was closer to me, I’d be here all the time! I had grapefruit and goat cheese salad - to die for and a flight of tacos - yummy!!!

Our waitresses had us seated quickly, and our drink orders were taken. Once she delivered the drinks, we saw her next when she brought our food. The risotto was good and a nice portion. The Beef and Broccoli Bowl was a soupy mixture of soggy rice and WAY too much of the glaze. After maybe six bites, we were done. When the waitresses came back and asked how things were, we answered honestly with the flavor and soupy consistency. She said said she would get the manager. She then came back and said the manager said nothing could be done that its supposed to be a soup. We paid and were getting up to leave and then the manager came over and said "so you didn't like the food?".In the description it does not say "soup" it says "glaze". No staff said hello, the restaurant wasn't busy (maybe 8 or 10 other guests). Once we were seated we didn't see our waitresses much. The way the manager handled the situation was lacking any customer service whatsoever, and this is noticeable with the rest of the staff as well.Even though the location and building are beautiful, I would not recommend eating here.

Let's just say we ate it all. Quality, food, amazing cocktails and friendly service. Many details of the customer experience were thought through including fresh towels and accommodating electric vehicles. Hope to stop through on our travels again.

The food is excellent. Depending on when you go you may want to make reservations because there can be a wait. We had a party of five for brunch on Sunday and everyone enjoyed their food. The flatbread, bruschetta, and Reuben were particularly tasty. My biggest complaint was the music. They had the music turned up so loud that it was difficult for us to talk without yelling at each other. I am not a fan of country music, but any music that loud makes you feel like you are at a concert, not a relaxing place to enjoy brunch. That really detracted from the experience. Would definitely go back for the food, but will have to see about eating in.Parking: They have an EV charging station.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a long ramp to the front.

We had a lovely lunch at this cafe. We appreciated being able to use the EV charger for our vehicle. There are 2 EV chargers on the right side of the building, one for Tesla’s and one universal. The atmosphere was so peaceful and I enjoyed the wine flight.Only caution is that if you prefer your food to be plain, there aren’t many options so check the menu before you come. The food was very tasty but all the selections were fancy.

Cute little place with homey, small-town USA vibes and rustic decorations. Lunch menu had a wide variety of salads and sandwiches, all of which sounded delicious. Drink options included soft drinks, draft beer, kombucha in a can, signature seasonal cocktails, and a full coffee / espresso bar. Indoor and outdoor seating available, and other cute local shops nearby to wander through as your delicious meal digests.

This quiet little river side cafe is amazing. Tucked behind Penn Alps, this quaint little Cafe/Bar has a wonderful selection of wines, pastas, salads, seafood and steak. With an appearing to regularly rotated menu to keep things fresh.I personally had the Crab Dip, firstly actual crab not Krab. It was creamy hot all the way to the last bite served with toasted bread slices for dipping. The White wine I chose as my pairing was very crisp and fruity appropriate for the spring.I enjoyed my whole meal by the window enjoying the freak spring hail and lovely Castleman river view as I was consistently checked on by my waiter Hunter making rest assured I enjoyed my time and didn't need anything else.

A very homely cafe..The staff is friendly and their recommendations are good. We tried the avocado toast, the Panini and the wrap. Everything was cooked perfectly and well served.Could be a little pricy for a cafe but the food and view makes it worth. Portions are decent and the location is very much accessible. Worth a visit definitely.

The food is absolutely amazing!!!! Well worth the wait. Our server was very attentive despite being short staffed the day we visited. He made sure everyone was taken care of. He was excellent! The Lump crab flatbread and the Avocado Bacon Panini were incredibly delicious. The flavor profile of each was unique and well balanced. Highly recommend stopping by to visit when you’re in Grantsville MD.Parking: Parking was a little limited.

Great service. The dinner portions are perfectly sized so you eat enough but don’t feel stuffed afterward. Plenty of space so it wasn’t crowded when we were there. With plenty of patio space to eat outside it makes it a great place to chill when the weather is good. In the back yard you can see the river. They also have Tesla and other electric car charging stations.

It’s a beautiful little barn style restaurant. Interior is filled with wood decor. The food is nice but not mind blowing. It would be nicer if the shrimp on the bruschetta is cooler. Salad is good. Son gave 3/5 for the grilled cheese. On a side note the bathroom is big and clean! Attention, all the road trip foodies. Big fire place. Should be great in winter.

Good ambiance. Has a very chill vibe inside. We liked the coffee but breakfast goat cheese flatbread (without bacon) was too cheesy for me. I couldn’t finish the whole thing.

Beautiful setting, ample outdoor seating, pretty good food and lots of healthy options. Could use improvement in order/bill accuracy and speed of service (it took a long time even in light of the current staffing problems that many restaurants are having). Has its own parking lot including a Tesla charger for those who needs such a thing.

Great food, atmosphere and view of the Casselman river. Very peaceful place. Love the “barn” decor. Most of all, everything I’ve had to eat was amazing! Now you can get beer and champagne flights! Yay!

I was really hoping to like this place. The decor was awesome and I loved the view out the window. But the food was subpar, the Belgium waffle was not a Belgium waffle. It was no where as thick and fluffy as a Belgium waffle should be and the chicken and gravy tasted and smelled sour. The avocado was old and brown. Avocado should be green. We also never saw our waitress after we ordered. The food took forever to come out. She didn't even bring us our food. We waited 45 minutes to get a refill on coffee and cream. And we had to ask another waitress for it. Terrible service. Only reason I am giving it 2 stars is because I loved the decor and the guy who sat us was very nice and friendly.

This place is amazing. So many things on the menu looked amazing we had a hard time choosing what to order! The sandwich we got was incredible, drinks were great, and the service was friendly and attentive. There are several little cute shops here as well, and of course the Penn Alps artisan village. I'd definitely suggest talking time to walk around and check it out.We stopped here for lunch on the way home to DC, and we will definitely be back.

Very weird place. It seems to take itself a bit too seriously. The water is served warm. For those that have not traveled outside of this country, warm beverages are the norm. Foreigners look at us like swine because we ask for ice. That is the vibe I believe these folks are going for. The food is expensive for no apparent reason. The taste and presentation suggest nothing that would justify the price other than the weird European atmosphere they are trying to cultivate. Maybe geared toward tourists visiting the artisan village, but remember folks…you’re 200 meters from a sewage treatment plant while dining here. Don’t take yourself too serious.
