The doctor we saw was excellent, but unfortunately some of the staff I encountered were terrible. When I complained about a vet tech's inability to even communicate effectively with clients, someone named Debbie banned me from ever entering their building! Fortunately, the ban did not affect us since there are many other veterinarians around, but I wanted others to know that the practice punishes constructive feedback.

I found out from an emergency vet appointment with my regular vet that my 17 year old cat was going to need to be euthanized due to aggressive throat cancer. We decided to look into options other than our vet since only 1 family member was allowed to be present for the procedure. This practice was recommended to me by Forever Faithful Pet Cremation in Woodbine since they are located about 10 minutes away from them. I called late Saturday morning and explained the situation and they were able to make an appointment for us on Monday afternoon even though my cat wasn't a regular patient and had never even been seen by them. When we arrived for our appointment they let us know that their rooms were small but since it was a gorgeous day, they could do the procedure outside. They handled the situation with grace and compassion, I can't imagine a more perfect way to say goodbye to my girl. The way that this practice went above and beyond for us even though we weren't patients is phenomenal. Dr. Holmes, Kari and Rachel helped to give me and my family a beautiful, memory even if it is a sad one, and I can not praise them enough.

I love it here. They treat our fur babies with care and compassion. Dr. Holmes is a rock star! We love the way she takes her time to ask questions and pet our babies before starting her exam. She really puts them at ease. She has a very good approach to treating them and doesn’t perform any unnecessary procedures or try to upsell us on anything that isn’t necessary. It is very refreshing to find a Veterinarian who truly cares about you and your pets.

Everyone with whom I interacted was very friendly and accommodating. I lost my dog Petey last year and I was relatively new to the practice at that point (we had to put him to sleep there). Since then, I am comforted with the fact that my dog Sophia (Petey's sister) is receiving the same level of care and compassion while in her golden years. Thank you for all you do!

Wonderful doctors and staff. Our dog required an emergency visit and the folks at Glenwood made it happen that same morning. They nursed our pup back to health over the next few days. The doctors were great at communicating what was going on and the steps needed to resolve the issues. We are so grateful and fortunate to have such an amazing animal hospital like Glenwood.

We've always had great service. We went there for the very first time under bad circumstances when we moved to the area and had to put our dog down. They were great and let us have all the time with her that we needed. We thought the whole experience was so professional and compassionate we stayed with them moving forward for our other dog. New patient everyone was so friendly from the first time I walked into the door at the front desk with my foster puppy, I mistakenly had the wrong day since I was driving a long distance, they we able to accommodate me, Dr Parr. explained everything, all the x-rays and aftercare. Dr Parr determined that her leg was broken when another DR. said it was not at a different faculty. I am so happy they were able to help her with her pain and a plan to going forward.HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I've been taking one of my cats since Jan 2023 and am going to switch my other cat to this practice as well. Office staff, vet techs and vets have been patient, accommodating and friendly. They've treated my cat kindly and the vets always explain and answer my questions. The fees are comparable for this area IMO and the staff will let you know amounts for procedures if you ask in advance. It's been a great experience and have recommended them to friends.

We had to get our senior dog euthanasia here and the staff were so kind and welcoming. No judgement and very caring. Highly recommend, we live an hour away and they were the only ones able to help us after waiting over a week to hear back from other vets for an appointment. They had us come in the next day after we called, but her illness progressed too much to help.
