Celebrated Ice Cream for Breakfast Day at Creamery and it was packed! The staff was all smiles even with a long line and a cold breeze. It was a perfect experience from start to finish - we can't wait to visit again soon.Kid-friendliness: The cows were so close!! There's also lots of room for the littles to safely run off the sugar high.

On Friday, April 5, 2024, we hosted an ice cream social at Prigel Family Creamery on the evening before our daughters wedding. The event was so much fun! We had a terrific selection of ice cream and toppings located behind the store in the open field. Since it was evening, there were strings lights and outside games for all to enjoy. It happened to be on a very cold, blustery evening so they kept us warm with a large open fire to huddle around. A perfect event to kick off the wedding festivities!

In the past, I have eaten ice cream from the Prigel Family Creamery at the Woodfire Kitchen, but I didn't know that they served food here. We were in the neighborhood, and my wife told me that one of her friends recommended the pastrami sandwich at the Prigel Family Creamery.We stopped here for a late lunch. It's in a scenic area. The ride to the Creamery passed scenic farms and nice little communities. The Creamery itself is clean and neat. You can order ice cream at the exterior window, but we seemed to need to go inside to order sandwiches at a separate counter.There was some indoor seating, but it was a beautiful day, and there's a pandemic. We ate outdoors.We ordered two sandwiches, a pastrami melt and a BLT. Both were excellent. We had pumpkin ice cream and a peanut butter milkshake. Both delicious.This is an excellent place to eat.

Wonderful ice cream! Bought a cone of black cherry then also bought a quart of it to take home as it was so melt-in-your-mouth delicious! The menu of flavors is huge! The young lady filling the orders was so nice and gave out samples of the ice cream to help you make a flavor decision. Got to see the cows where the milk comes from out front in the pasture. Great experience!

What's not to love about Prigel?! My family absolutely loves Prigel Family Creamery no matter the season. It's well worth a beautiful drive out in the country for their delicious ice cream (my favorite is the black cherry flavor) and they sell plenty of other local goodies that we like to bring home, too (i.e. milk, cheese, meats, even soaps!). They recently opened a market/cafe that we haven't really taken advantage of, but I am sure it's every bit as delightful as the rest of their offerings. The ambiance outdoors is just wonderful on a mild evening in the summer - often with local musicians - and they have lots of other activities if you want to stay connected all year long. This is a wonderful place and we're so happy to have Prigel in our community. We highly recommend it!

How local can you get when looking for local ice cream? Well, cow's across the street is pretty good. Prigel's is one of the best ice cream places I have had the pleasure of experiencing. With milk sourced directly from their family farm across the road, the freshness is unbeatable. Beyond just excellent milk, the ice cream flavors are delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and perfect consistency. They also sell their ice cream by the pints, just in case you want to take a few flavors home. Be warned though, the best ones go very quickly. Being fairly far away from any major towns, it's both a surprise and not a surprise that Prigel's is so popular. The fact so many people make the trip for this ice cream should give you an idea how great it is. They also sell some meats and a few other products, so make sure to give their shop a look around. The staff is friendly and very helpful, rounding out the whole experience. If you have the time (and a car) it is definitely worth a visit!

Great ice cream parlor. A variety of different types of flavors and good seasonal specials. Ice cream cakes and sundae options. Cows come up for milking sometime between 1-3. Friendly helpful staff. Good yogurt. Meats and eggs from other local farms.

Updated 7/24/2021: oh my!! The pastrami sandwiched melted is amazing! The best Pastrami Ever! It has some fat which I prefer, and when warmed/toasted, the flavor comes out more from the meat. I don't eat a lot of meat and this sandwich has enough meat for 4 sandwiches for me!! The ice cream is even better than I remembered. The cappacino chip has grounded coffee bean and chocolate chip. Strawberry ice cream doesn't have strawberry pieces... Grounded up? Still delicious! I only saw 1 cow today. Guess I miss their daily walk. The parking lot is to the right of the creamery. This place is very clean too! I can't wait to try the empanadas 🥟 when I get home. They look delicious!!... The turkey empanada was good, need a little more filling.Delicious ice-cream made with Healthy Happy Cow Milk. Yummm.. The Prigel Ice-cream is yummy. It's creamy on the lighter side. I have had some very creamy ice-cream, and too creamy is okay. Prigel ice-cream has just the right consistency, and I like that they make many flavors of ice-cream.It was my first time visiting Prigel, and on that day, they had a live band playing outside the ice-cream shop. Inside the ice-cream shop, it has tables where you can relax and enjoy the ice-cream. The people working there are not super friendly, but they are professional. It could be that they were busy.My favorite part of the visit is seeing their cows. It was perfect timing for me, because when I returned to my car with ice-cram, the cows were at by my car taking their 2nd and last walk of the day. The man walking the cows told me that the cows are lazy. It took a long time for time to walk, because the cows seem to like watching people, smelling and eating the grass during their walk. They are very curious, and adorable.

This is one of my favorite places. They have the Best ice cream and not to mention all of the other goodies they have! There property is so very peaceful sitting outside watching the cows in the fields, knowing that their milk is what made your ice cream 🍨🍦.

Delicious local farm creamery that goes above and beyond in a very dairy-centric area. The cheese in our raclette plate was melty perfection, and the meat delightfully smoky. Lastly, our apple cider shake was huge, frosty goodness. Easy recommend, definitely planning a return trip.

First time I visited Prigels' Family Creamery. Nice quiet area in the country, enjoyed the brownie sundae very much the serving was enough for two people so we shared it. We also ordered a milk shake which was very thick and delicious. We took this with us and shared it on the way home as it was just too much to eat while we were there. We definitely will go back.

Their Banana Split was HUGE. Toppings were fresh and the ice cream definitely tasted homemade. Plenty of outdoor space to let your kids roam around to burn off the sugar. Cornhole in the back, firepit for evenings and outdoor chairs and tables conveniently placed for social distancing.HUGE PLUS: When we arrived, we saw an employee wiping down every little section of each outdoor table/chair with a sanitizing solution. They were SO THOROUGH.

Always good, fresh from their cows, who we saw parading by on their way to their afternoon milking. We had chocolate cherry today, yum! Take a blanket to sit under the shade trees. Rather expensive but it's worth the drive for spectacular countryside drive and views and a sweet treat!

Hands down the best ice cream in the Baltimore area. The brownie sundae with cookies and cream or chocolate cookie ice cream, in particular, is incredible. It tastes so good because it's made with fresh ice cream. I seriously dream about it all year until we return for another trip. If your looking to visit an ice cream gem, you won't regret it if your in the Baltimore County area. We stopped in again recently and the ice cre selection has gotten larger. They have a huge selection of meats and cheeses as well as a market where you can order sandwiches and other nice meal items.

It's a nice little family owned place. Parking is a little tricky. We stopped by for lunch and a milkshake but unfortunately they had just closed the deli for the year days earlier. Since we wanted to have lunch first we went elsewhere and didn't have anything here. I must say the ice cream menu selection looks good. We will try again next season.

First time here. Great atmosphere and very charming, nice staff.I had the Savory Sausage with Kraut. Delicious! Had a scoop of butter pecan ice cream on a sugar cone afterwards that was to die for!They had dozens of different kinds of homemade cheese and fresh milk straight from the cow. Fresh beef and chicken, and farm fresh eggs. Everything looked so fresh and delicious.Would definitely recommend you try the place.. Will definitely be back next time I'm in town.

Prigel family creamery is a hometown ice creamery. I had an amazing cookies and cream milkshake. I have only been here once but I have a feeling there is always a long line in the summer based on how good this milkshake was. Smells like cows outside. We also bought some meats which we have yet to make; I’m very excited!
