This place needs to be shut down for good. It's posted that the store closes at 9pm everyday. Today they closed at 5PM. The lousy reason was they ran out of money. I asked of they did credit and the response was that they shut down the registers, I will be reporting this establishment to the BBB. They get paid to sit around the store UNTIL 9 PM and do NOTHING.

Honestly, not impressed by any means. My biggest complaint is Employees use most of the carts for stocking products so customers are left behind fighting for carts LITERALLY. I also was overcharged twice in the same transaction. They were nice enough to fix it but when your trying to coupon its frustrating.

Just can’t even call the store or anything the number is faxed or whatever not only that they’re hiring but never call and set up interviews like make it make since no wonder why the store is tore up now the staff they do have can do better and they can add more to their team. A disappointment. Y’all the store is messy everywhere!! Can’t make it up.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.Believe what you see here about the shelves being mostly bare, the store being unorganized w/ the aisles filled with unopened stock, boxes and trash. I went there on Saturday and they had NO shopping carts. I couldn't get all of what I needed and could barely walk through the store without nearly tripping over all the boxes. I wish I could give no stars at all. I've reached out to corporate, but of course no response. I attached a few photos, but that doesn't even adequately depict the utter chaos that is this DG location....

They have literally nothing put away everything is in the back and boxes the truck driver stated that he can’t even unload his truck because they haven’t got to the last shipments and put them on the shelves there’s literally no room in the back where they keep everything I don’t know who the GM is it of the store is but he needs to be fired in 100 times after. Its definitely not the store manager he can only do so much but the GM Clearly does not check up on this store. Hire more help!

This place has went DOWN HILL very fast. Since all these new people have started. It's a shame because I would go in there and most the time spend more than I wanted to. Now get in and out or just don't go there. New manager and employees are needed smh so sad

Nice, organized, the manager greated me as soon as I entered. You find good deals there. Only major problem is that the bathroom is locked and the person working at the register has to stop when someone needs to use the bathroom. Understaffed.

Easily worse store in Germantown was closed for 4 days because have no help and management is pathetic. Sunday afternoon 11-6-23 1:16 pm there CLOSED. Lol lol 😆 can we say pathetic. Go out of business and put something else in its place dollar general is a joke

Lisa was awesome. When I walked in, she greeted very nice. When I went to the cash register she was the cashier. Very polite courteous with a smile and best of all she asked me if I found what I was looking for!?!? I'm very pleased.

I love Dollar General. I shop there often and am always pleased with purchases but this Germantown, MD location was messy and disorganized. Plus they had aisles after aisle filled with racks of unopened boxes that they had yet to shelve. When I asked when they would open the boxes because I am sure what I wanted to buy was most likely in one of those boxes they said it would be next weekend and they were trying to get to it. Wow.

The sales representative was very helpful in showing me where the items were located in the store. Thereby, enabling me to choose and purchase items a lot faster. Was indeed, quick to recommend additional products at which I was able to afford. Indeed, a very enjoyable shopping experience ! ! !

I didn't know what to expect. It's a bit dark but the isles are filled with items you would normally buy at the drug store or grocery store. Brand names and everything. This was only my second time going and both times the cashier's we're super friendly and super helpful 😁

Rip off alert! Everytime I go in here, the price on the shelf does not match what they charge at the register and it is never in your favor. Today, they tried to get me for $9.95 for a bottle of laundry soap that was marked $7.00. It's not worth it. They are overpriced anyway. Go to Wally's, it's cheaper

I absolutely love Dollar General! They have tons of low priced dirt cheap products including name brand items like coffee, juice, soda, snacks, candy, cereal & even refrigerared items as well. It's never expired and always great quality. Even the generic items are just as good to be honest if not sometimes better. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to it being kind of disorganized. But I do understand that with items priced so low, having so much stuff to shelf & a zillion customers a day ramsacking thru it all like deranged loonies has to be a lot to keep up with. My #1 obsession at this store is the middle season aisle. You will find a boat load of cute seasonal decor and craft accessories. You may have to dig through some piles but it's worth it to find the motherload! I buy all of my rolls of burlap craft ribbon at Dollar General & the arts and craft aisle has some super great stuff too. I purchase tons of my crafting mojo here. Cute wooden trinkets to paint and tons of the single craft kits literally identical to what the upscale craft stores carry for 3x cheaper. They also have awesome makeup and toys as well. The only thing is BE PREPARED TO SPEND WAY MORE $$$ THEN YOU INITIALLY INTENDED lol. 😂 (a lot more)...& make sure you have a few hours of time to spare because you will be in each aisle for like 45 minutes. It's tons of fun though! And you really can score some amazing finds!

The guys that work there are always doing what's needed to be done. The women on the other hand, not so much. The only female that I ever saw working and stocking was Kayla and she was pregnant. When I was in the store before it closed for now, the girls had music playing so loud. You could hear it in the parking lot. Keep the guys but get rid of the girls but keep Kayla when she is ready to return to work.

They had nothing on the shelf. I went this morning nothing and they had boxes all over the store came back and still nothing. They had 5 people working and 1 person on the cash register. This was my go to store but they have fallen off. I guess it's back to Walmart.

Nice store to buy different stuff. Its cheaper compare others stores. I always buy for cleaning stuff here and I enjoy the friendly cashier with a great attitude toward customers.. Recommended!

Moved from west coast and i don't really see this store has something to offer. We have 99 cents store in California and which has tons and tons of fresh fruits nd vegetables, sncks and much more. Here there is absolutely nothing much other than a typical dollar store. Could be developed by adding much more items.

Every time I come they don't open time or closes early. Corporate needs to get involved or close store so frustrating
