We are cruisers from Nova Scotia Canada. We chose this marina because of the reviews and the pool. We had put many many nautical miles behind us and we needed a break. Joe and Susan are awesome! We had a mechanical issue and they arranged an electrician immediately who quickly repaired our issue. The marina store is very well stocked and has super friendly staff. The pool was wonderful and very clean and the showers and laundry room were readily accessible and very clean. We needed to do some significant provisioning and the larger markets were a few towns over (about a 15 minute drive) and Joe lent us his truck! We could not have asked for kinder, more welcoming service. We would most definitely recommend staying here while in the Chesapeake area.SV Chill Out - September 2023

Having the pool there for boat slip owners use is amazing. You pull into dock and while getting everything cleaned up and ready to be put away for the week, I can take kids over to the pool and swim for a few hours. Nice bath house available with showers in spacious private rooms. Makes it possible to go from boat, to pool, and out to dinner without leaving the marina. Mr Joe Smith has made this place a blessing.

I will never, ever purchase a boat here, nor would I list one here. The owner/broker is so disrespectful-we were under contract to purchase a boat and were trying to get info on the boat history. We were berated by the owner and were told that our questions were “idiotic”. He acted like it was a personal affront to him and got irate and finally said “you should cancel the contract”. We did just that and got our deposit back. Sadly, the sellers will likely never be told it was the broker/owner’s actions that cost them the same.

I have been a slip holder for 7 years now and this marina has been great. The amenities are awesome and kept clean and it helps that there are 4 restaurants within walking distance. The pool is a great alternative when we can't go out. The floating docks are the biggest bonus and they were just re-decked last year! Joe, the owner, is always there and ready to lend a hand, and the marina manager, Susan could not be more helpful! Can't say enough nice things. Highly recommend if you're looking for a marina to call home or for a transient visit.

Went in October 2021 to schedule out drive service on my stingray. Was put on book in April, went back got scheduled, filled out work order and asked for an estimate. I called several times with. I call back. Thanks for ruining my summer everyone is booked and can’t get work done. If you didn’t want my business it would of been great to know in the fall.

I wish I could put less than 1 star. I have never worked with a more unprofessional operation. I spoke with Joe and turns out he is the owner!! He was about as rude and unpleasant as I have ever experienced. The owner raised his voice over the phone because I had asked a few questions about a boat on their website!! And was insulted that someone would god forbid ask anything about history of the boat, etc. Clearly not in the boat selling business if that is how you treat people. I have never been treated poorer regarding something that would essentially benefit the owner and his business. STAY VERY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

The internet/WiFi is horrendously slow and unreliable. But aside from that, they have well maintained docks, clean and secure restrooms, it's easy to get to, and there's ufficient parking. Close to a variety of restaurants. Most importantly, lots of good places to anchor and swim nearby.Overall, love it here. Just wish I could get my weather app to load, or send an email.

Too bad there isn't a "No Star" rating. Our broker just contacted this broker ref a Carver 564 CPMY he has listed on Yachtworld. The listing broker was not interested in showing the boat. We assumed the listing broker -- and his seller -- didn't want our business. We moved on...

Be weary of the boat broker here especially as someone trying to sell a boat. Set up an appointment to view a boat. Arrived early and was told by the broker that he was too busy to show the boat. Then he proceeded to belittle me about the boat when I offered a fair market value price. Even brought similar listings with me on the same boat. Turned me off to ever buying a boat from this guy. It’s a buyers market especially this time of year. Deal with someone who is actually going to value the clients time and treat them with respect.
