SAI is top tier. The owners are friendly, helpful and run a clean professional operation. Their staff for service is prompt and friendly and the setting on the Sassafras river could not be more beautiful, calm or picturesque. We are live aboard traveling the east coast and we stayed here a whole month. Good restaurants w/in walking distance and a short bike ride to an excellent market with fresh vegetables and local fair. Cannot say enough good things about our time spent here. Will definitely come back if we pass this way again.

We love this marina. We meant to spend the winter here and then head out in the spring. Instead we have signed on for another year and love being here. It’s nice, clean, and extremely well run. Patrick and Party are wonderful and fun to work with. Easily the best marina we have stayed in.

Absolutely recommend this place! They make you feel more like family than just a customer! They have went above and beyond for our family! They truly care about your family! Such amazing people! The up most respect and such a fun kid and pet friendly place! With amazing pricing! Very clean area with plently of seating area with perfect view of the boats and water! Lovely quiet marina. Very clean and well maintained, showers the same, lovely pool and super friendly and helpful staff. Lots of like-minded sailors dock here. Walking distance to restaurants and marine supplies. Reasonable rates for transients but call ahead.

We recently purchased a sailboat that was docked at this marina. After several visits, it is safe to say that the facilities are clean, well maintained, historic and charming. The couple who run the place (Pat and Patty) are just wonderful. They are pleasant, competent and very knowledgeable about the local area and boating, in general. Sadly, we don't live near Georgetown and will be moving the boat to an anchorage closer to us soon, but if we lived there, we'd not think twice about continuing to keep our boat there.

Excellent location... Clean and well maintained... Its like a private sailing club in Annapolis. Without the big city hassles and big city price. Near the best marine stores and full of amenities, its a must stop in the northern Chesapeake. The professional staff is theicing on the cake and sassafras river is the cherry on top.

This is a great Marina. Nice people. Plenty of room to maneuver. Good docks, dingy storage. A launch beach. Clean rest rooms. Easy walk to two restaurants. Plenty of parking. Reasonable rates. Why wouldn't you come here!?

I have a sailboat at this marina and was traveling to it from upper Delaware, did not want to get lost 😊. The marina has been my home for two different boats. Staff is outstanding, swim areas, restrooms, day room, well maintained and clean. Beautiful setting near several restaurants, all within walking distance. Recommend it for anyone looking for a well run marina on the Sassafras.
