First time in this store and what a great selection of food for our pets. Also, you can find special fresh food for dogs.I was looking for a medicine for my cat and Elli and Shaana helped a lot. By the way, they have such a friendly staff.Petco stores has a program all over the Country to help pets with donations as well support the adoption of this animals.

Made a grooming appointment and the groomer Dominique messaged me 1st thing this morning that she had a family emergency. This is only reason I'm giving a 4 star. I had rescheduled with another groomer an when I got to the store they weren't there and the cashier Matt said he hasn't heard from them this morning and I can wait and see if they showed up. So I ended up going to Petsmart and Dominique still messaged me making sure I was ok an she would make sure my dog was taking care of. That's customer service right. Thank you Dominique

I have been here about 4 times in the last month and a half right around 6 p.m, and have been rushed out the door every time because the store is closing... hours before the posted hours of operation. Most people get off of work between 5 and 6, you're really killing your business rushing people out of your store before 6:30 to close. The hours posted online says the store closes at 9 p.m, and the associate I spoke with today said the actual hours are 8 p.m. If that is accurate, you should remedy that information on your website. I was there ready to spend several hundred dollars and you lost my business in an instant! It is always the same associate who is closing early, I did ask for a manager and there was not one present, and then I was locked in when I tried to leave because the associate had the doors locked at 6:15 and had to wait for her to let me out

After many cuts. They would not book me because my dog was off lease while in the small space at the Grooming counter, not in the store. That's Bull. I'll never patronize your store again.

It was wonderful. Everyone was super friendly..as always…and super helpful(but yall already knew that.) I was able to find everything I was looking for and I love being able to bring the puppy with me for socialization in different environments! This specific Petco is and has always been a very neat and clean store. There’s never any clutter or mess. They have the store looking ready to shop no matter what time I go in there. I love Petco and I’ll always shop here!

The doggo & I love this spot!!! Staff is super informed, attentive & kind. Maire is the best!! She remembers my dog's name & greets us each time. We love the free biscuits ever so often and the holiday antlers we got with our purchase. It's spring and he still plays with it. We've bought many things from food to toys and didn't have any problems with returns. The floors aren't always the cleanest, but it's a pet store. The store has many birds, lizards, hamsters, ferrets, and various fish for sale. They also have kittens and rescues, with adoption events here & there. Sign up for their rewards card and get discounts on future visits, worth it if u have a pet! They do have a grooming spot inside, but we haven't used it yet. They do offer free nail trims for the first visit M-Th.

Fish employee is presumptuous. Automatically assumes you are loading a 1 gallon fish bowl with 200 fish and treats you like a fish murderer all the while they are running overstocked aquariums with finless scrappy looking fish.

Customer service doesn't exist at this location. Shop elsewhere if you can. I have entered the store and been alerted by an anonymous voice that "We close in 30 minutes." I have been told curbside required answering on the app. Then the next time the app is frozen and the phone lines are ignored. If you enter the store, a clerk will claim physical ailment rather than assist you with getting your 32 pounds of kibble to the car and no cart is offered.I have been ignored while waiting in line so that two employees could work on an internal issue. After waiting patiently for five minutes I asked if I could check out and was told, 'Ma'am we'll be with you as soon as we finish this.' With that they continued working over whatever they were doing. A person joined the line behind me, and I asked if there was anyone else in the store who could wait on me, while they continued what they were doing. The girl who seemed to be the manager said, 'ma'am it's just a few minutes!' To which I responded yes, but it's a few minutes while you're on your job for me, a quick trip has been unnecessarily extended and I have other errands. I just want to pay for these few items and go. The 10 minutes I've waited is unfair! And the bag of food is heavy! The "manager" said she wasn't going to argue with me walked away and told the other girl she could wait on me. That girl walked to the unoccupied register and waited on me. After this, I avoided this location at all costs. Avoid this place.

I had to drive 45 minutes to the closest store that carry's the brand I need for my pups. I have to past at least 5 different store which is an inconvenience especially if you need it for an emergency before your auto ship order arrives to you. When I arrived to the store they had the wrong item waiting for pick up. Good thing I checked before I left. The store rep was really prompt with running back and getting the correct food I purchased.

I went to get two turtles and the treatment I got was absolutely horrible with employees making assumptions that I will not treat the pets properly. I felt racially profiled by the kind of statements that were made. I would never recommend going to this location. I have been to other locations and I had never before felt so disrespected. Shame of them! And the supervisor was no better

I bought a fish tank from this store months ago, set it up and had it sit for 10 days. the manager in charge of that section, would not sell me any of the fish I tried to by. I've gone there 3 times, and she wouldn't sell to me and she tell me to leave because it's in her right to not sell to me. I had to go the the store in Bowie to get the fish I wanted, and they're living well in my tank for over 4 months now. My guess is that she sells to a certain kind of people. I AM NOT GOING BACK THERE AGAIN.

Extremely limited variety of Fancy Feast, especially the higher nutritional content/grain free, no cases- only sold by the can. Extremely overpriced. Cashier lies, giving BS excuses for lack of product that insults the shopper and the product. Sadly, this comes up for Petsmart in this area- I highly recommend driving to Bowie, Annapolis, or Glen Burnie for an actual Petsmart rather than bothering with this hot mess.

Changing review from 1 star to 5 stars. They didn't catch that my dog was scheduled with a groomer who no longer worked there, but managed to get her in within two days of the original appointment. Very grateful at the quick response because she is going to be with relatives for the next month and I wanted her to be groomed before that.

This store is consistently understaffed with only two teams members on the floor. Though the staff tries their best, there are long waits to get service. The two times I visited two weeks apart, it took over two hours to get in and out of the store. I did require assistance each time for the fish and rodents, though I don't believe it should ever take that long to get in and out of a store.

Love it here! The groomers always give my dog back feeling and smelling good, even if he's pretty nervous when I drop him off. Corinne is especially lovely, and is so sweet to my little guy! Cashiers are also friendly and quick.

Petco is great but I can never get help in the aquarium section, every time I go, im waiting at least 20/30 minutes when I already know what I want, I have to search for help or wait in the check out line to ask for help.

Store is clean and has a good variety of great brands for all pet needs. It is on the smaller side than other Petco's and it is hit or miss if you are going to have welcoming and friendly staff.

Helpful and friendly staff! The store was very clean and well-organized, and the pets for sale looked very well cared for and HAPPY! We came to purchase supplies for our Fancy Bear Hamster, and they had a great selection. My daughter's hamster loves the new 7" hamster ball. They even priced matched the hamster ball, as the web price was cheaper. Great Store and Staff!

My wife and I attended a training course at this location and it was phenomenal! The trainer was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. We signed up for the 6 week private training and plan to keep going from there, we have also had great help from the associates on the floor in finding the most helpful products for us.

For the past 3 months I go into Petco and try to crickets I am always told short staff and they call someone over system. After waiting for more than 15 min toady I see 3 people come out of office. Still waited to get service. It’s getting tiresome. I won’t spend extra money waiting cause whygive to a company who doesn’t care about people’s time. Don’t mind waiting but it gets ridiculous time after time. Guess go back to petsmart where crickets are cheaper now.

I love their refillable cat litter. I have owned cats since I was one!! At 55 , PETCO has the best clumping cat litter I have ever used, whether I had 2 or 1 cats in my house and all female's!! The price is incomparable!! But everything else in the stores are WAY TO EXPENSIVE!! Their prices used to be average but yesterday I looked at alot of items some were marked in marked down bins some were not for cats and large dogs. And they were ridiculous! Maybe its because of the pandemic coupon?? Regardless, OVER PRICED ITEMS. I hope you see this comment from a PETCO shopper and take note!!We are all in this together!!!!Carolyn K.Davis
