There is only ever one cashier working here. Today the line had ten people in it and unfortunately people were making comments to the poor cashier who was working very hard. This has been the closest convenience store to my house for about 1.5 years. Every time I go in, there's one cashier. I figured maybe it was a one off, then a two off, etc. But no. They just run the place short staffed indefinitely. If you feel like spending half an hour or more in a line of upset people, check this place out. Otherwise, there is a CVS a mile or two away.

To Kearya and the pharmacist. The pharmacy doesn't even take time to go through your insurance. They bill you complete order and make you reimburse from the insurance company.They are very very slow in prescription.They made me wait for a small prescription for 1.5 hr and then told they don't have it! Really!Second time gave me wrong prescription order! Folks please check before you take your medication.Not ready to help.Worst service ever.. and also ready to roll the eyes!Pharmacist and even pharma assistant Kayara all same!

This review is for the photo service. Terrible customer service. When picking up the photo, the employee grabbed it by the photo and not the bag it was in. This led to a crease on the photo.I thought this would be same day I ordered the order on a 6 PM but no warning about whether or not same day was possible.I was sent a receipt and I put my credit card number in. I assumed it was paid for. No mention that my card would be held. I had to pay upon pick up.No clear communication. Terrible handling of the photo. Same day was not provided. I had to wait to the next day.

I went for a covid/flu test as I work with kids and need to know if I am contagious. I set an appointment, stood at the counter and was ignored until I said something. Then after taking my insurance and info they didn’t want to administer the test because it was “alot of work and typing” So instead I was given a covid test that was more expensive than the in person rapid test and doesn’t check for the flu. Waste of time, won’t be going there for a test again.

Chose curbside pickup but noone brought my order. Called the store noone picked up the phone. Went inside, one register could not find my order and went in line again for another cashier. She found it and when i asked why they did not bring the order outside she said she does not get that notifications 😂

They NEVER answer the phone and there used to be a lady named Annie/the red head there was so nasty towards everyone. They even got my prescription wrong on multiple occasions meaning I had to count my pills everytime. I was short almost 20 pills one time. I tried letting the front know several times and I got a phone number in which to express my complaint and my service. They never even called me back.

Nana was very exceptional with helping us print out our photos multiple times. He went above and beyond with also helping us install it into the frame that we purchased from the store. Please if there’s any way to appreciate this man’s kindness and passion for this job. Let’s do that for him. The whole experience was phenomenal. He deserves a raise! Thank you

Awful pharmacy, every time I go I have to wait about 15-25 minutes to get my medicine, even when there is no one in line. They never answer the phone when you call either. Last time I called they said my medicine wasn’t a priority and to come in a couple of days to get it, when online it says that medicine should be filled in two hours once received. Next, I had someone come get my migraine medicine because I couldn’t get out of the house and they told the person that it’s an over the counter medicine and to go look for it themselves. It’s a prescription medicine that was filled and they refused to give it to the person. Then they completely deleted the medicine and used one of me refills when I complained to them they told me “call your insurance we can’t do anything about it” when it was their mistake. The old staff was good but this new staff sucks and needs proper training.

Pharmacy does not answer the phone. Sat on hold for 20 minutes this morning.Main computer sent me a text asking if I wanted a drug refill.I said yes to the refill5 hours later I received a text that the refill would be available the next day by 11:00I go by the store at 2:00 the next day, my refill requires a doctors approval. But no one has notified the doctor.Two days later I have not heard anything for Walgreens. I tried to call and sat on hold for 20 minutes and no answer.I drive to the store to find they have not heard from my doctor, call the doctors office and resolved that issue.I receive another text for the Walgreens system telling me that it is too soon for my refill. Why did they tell me to pick the refill up 2 days prior?Each visit to the pharmacy requires a 10-15 minute wait in line. This morning the customer in front of me on his way out said "Good Luck". he was so very correct. This store is a mess !!!

Disgusting and against any sanitary regulations! Cashier who was helping my daughter had awful deep cough she couldn't stop. She has been wiping her mouth and coughing on her hands. Rag mask she had down her chin and made no effort at least to cover her mouth. I called in a store to talk to manager and someone who refused to tell me her name and position start to make explanations about "totally healthy " assosiate " . She was rude and persistent in her theory about "dry throat ". I need this issue to be addressed properly

I took my kids to have the covid booster and flu shot there. The scheduled appointment was on 11/22/22 at 4:45 pm but they didn't get the shot until 5:45 pm. The people at the register didn't know what they are doing. Took 30 mins to create an account for my kids, when I purchased the candy upfront, the cashier didn't know how to apply my Walgreen cash. Finally, it was our turn to have the shot, they gave my son a flu shot even though I didn't request it and told three different people that he doesn't need one. My son already got the flu shot from his annual check-up, but the pharmacist still administered a shot to him and he didn't even apologize!! He is very unprofessional, stressed out, and irritated. I will never go back to this pharmacy again!! Walgreen really needs to train their employees well, their service is terrible and you will be much better off going to to CVS, target or Giant where the wait is short and provide great customer service.

The pharmacy is constantly understaffed. If one customer has a complicated order, that holds up the line for 15 minutes because they don’t have anyone else to help other people in line. Staff are doing their best, but they seem stressed out. The system doesn’t let you refill a prescription until the week you need it, and then there might be shipping delays, so you have to clear your calendar to pick it up and/or go a day or two without medication.

Waited over 30 minutes for one prescription yesterday. Just before this event, the person on the phone hung up on me when I was explaining why what she was telling me was actually incorrect, and I was polite. I called back not so polite and the pharmacist helped me. The people who work there need some customer service training.

Went multiple times to pick up my prescription, but no use. Every time I went there, they said come tomorrow, however this tomorrow seems never coming. I will give them a fourth chance 😢

While the overall Walgreens chain is borderline OK, this particular branch (on Quince Orchard Road in Gaithersburg, MD) is filled with grossly incompetent staff. Orders incorrectly filled, orders that are delivered 2 to 4 weeks late (or longer) thus jeopardizing my health, waiting on lines for 40 minutes (or more) for a simple prescription pickup, waiting on the phone for an hour to speak to a staff member who then has no idea how to answer a simple question ... and so on. DON'T use them unless you enjoy wasting huge amounts of time.

Usually the employees are super dry. There have been 3 cashiers who were actually polite, kind and professional but other than that they are just dry. Today however the young girl (had to be new which makes it worse) at the cashier was utterly rude. She asked for my number and Thats when I remembered I had a coupon so I said “oh, I have a coupon”. I thought maybe she needed to know that before putting my number in. She looked at me and said “I NEED YOUR NUMBER” ugh just rude what is wrong with people today!? The store overall is clean. I haven’t been to the pharmacy so can’t speak on that. So for the few kind employees and cleanliness I give 3 stars otherwise… 1.

I’ve come to this Walgreens for many things in the last year. One of those many things are to load my chime card. I’ve loaded $500 plus on multiple occasions. Today the supervisor, whom had helped me do these loads on a couple other occasions, tells the cashier not to do the transaction. I’m a server, I live on cash and need to do these loads to pay my bills. The supervisor, an Indian guy, needs to review how to speak to customers. His attitude is rude and he acts like everyone is trash. Maybe you should focus on cleaning the trash in front of the store instead. Worst customer service!

HORRIBLE! I’ve been visiting for 5 weeks and I have never had such poor service in a pharmacy. Understaffed, slow. Unapologetic. Just horrible. Save your time and go somewhere else. I will never shop here again. Especially the pharmacy.

The automatic voice does not refill the prescription like it says it does—No one specifies that. I called and was on hold for 30 min. I decided to drive to the location while still on hold and NO ONE was on the phone. Was also told to come pick up at a time the prescription was not even filled. My child has a life threatening condition and the medicine delay made it worse. Please go to a different location. This place is not worth it.

They used to have very bright, efficient and pleasant staff. I’m returning after a while (3/2023). Snail slow staff (ie techs and pharmacist), fussy, inexperienced and difficult to work with. Save your time and energy and go elsewhere.

If I could give this zero stars I would 100% do so. Please management (or above management read this). I deposit money every single week at least one time to my Varo bank card. I just had the most frustrating experience THIS TIME dealing with your very competent employees. The first person I had, it was clearly her first day or maybe week, so I’ll cut her some slack. She has never done this, so they call a manager up from the back who takes a good ten mins to come and also about 3 calls over the intercom before another employee had to physically go get her. Finally she comes loli gagging up there and tells me (after trying 2 or 3 times to add cash to my card) that she can’t do it. She doesn’t even think they accept Varo (even though I do this all the time at this exact location. Look up security footage of it). So after going back and forth with her I hear her mention they do it for cashapp. Perfect I have my cashapp card with me as well. Let’s do that. Ummmm nope she can’t do that either. She claims she’s getting an error message and it’s my fault. So somehow both of my cards are the only cards on the planet who don’t work. Highly unlikely. So I leave frustrated beyond belief that I now have to go to another place to add cash to my card. I check my Varo account and it says it’s been locked because of someone trying to CHARGE my card several times and it being declined( they were never adding money like I went in there to do but instead trying to charge me). So that account is locked where I can’t use it at the next location. But I go down the street to 711 and immediately have NO ISSUES adding money to my cashapp card (which your “manager” could not do). Plz Walgreens, plz, I beg you……find some competent employees who know how to work a cash register and know how to do the simple tasks you have advertised your store to be able to provided. I will never go back to that Walgreens and discourage anyone who suggests going there otherwise. Your “manager” ( and I know that can’t be the main one because I’ve seen other managers do this for me before) should be terminated OR go through a thorough training class because she can not work your cash register. Thank you for absolutely nothing. Fire them all IMO

My experience yesterday was terrible since I had to call pharmacy line several times. The automatic service said they had received my order and would be ready by 2:15pm. I called to find out if I could pick up curbside but found out there was a delay and they would let me know when ready. I called again and still says delay. Then finally spoke to someone at the pharmacy but they were unable to get in our area. By that time my doctor’s office was closed so I had to wait another day.

I love this store, the employees here are extremely helpful, and have the best attitude towards the costumers! I been coming to this Walgreens for a couple of months now, and I always feel welcome here. I would like to say that Gustavo is amazing, he is always very helpful and goes above and beyond. Multiple times he is been there to help me and I am very thankful for all his patiences he has with me.

Terrible service! Today I waited for drive thru for 30 minutes, and then it turned out that my medicine was not ready and this situation repeats itself all the time!UPDATE: Now they don't even have a drive thru! They called several times and said that all the medicines were ready for pick-up, when I arrived, They said it was not ready, come in 15 minutes. Terrible service, they don't even deserve one star!UPDATE: things got even worse, although much worse already! 5 people work at the checkout, but the queue has not moved for 15 minutes, the drive thru is not working again!

Such a bad experience, I wanted to print some photos and the lady who did not even help at all was so rude and aggresive not just to me but other costumers as well, I usually dont leave reviews but I am for this lady because the way she speak and treat customers is so wrong, I believe her name is Sharon, if you walk in there and she gon be the one to help you just ask someone else to help you since she is incompetent to do her job and Provides such bad costumer experience or go to another Walgreens. STAY AWAY FROM THAT LADY!

Had to come twice since they hadn’t started my prescription 4 hours after it was sent. Waited in line 3 minutes which time and it took 15 minutes and I actually got to the window. We are understaffed and a total waste of time.

Pharmacy is constantly late on prescriptions and understaffed. Gives medical advice that they do not have the scope of practice to be giving. Take your business to Safeway, they at least pick up the phone.
