Although the store is quite busy, it is usually clean and I’m able to get most items that I go in for. If I can’t find an item, I am usually able to track down a person to help me I’m a senior and sometimes need help. I just wish that they were better staffed and didn’t seem to be rushed, but they’re always courteous and friendly.

Twice now I have been lied to by the older woman at the pharmacy. 1st she told me she didn't have my daughter's specific medication at their location while handing me that very same medication for my son. And then today, she interupted her coworkers who were trying to help me, to tell me that it was my insurance company's website that was down. Her coworkers, the tall gentleman with glasses and a much younger woman explained to me that it was THEIR system that was down, NOT MY insurance company and they promised to call me when all was good. Which they did, and that was awesome. But being lied to the last 2 times I'm there by the same lady is just unacceptable. No one likes a liar.

This CVS never fails to provider the worst costumer service. From the techs to the pharmacist. They are all rude!! The only reason I came here was because Safeway closes early on the weekends and my kid needed a medication urgently. The doctor was kind enough to find a cvs near home that would be open when we left urgent care but knew to give me a copy of the prescription in case i had “any issues”. Lo and behold I get to cvs and they tell me nothing was sent over and go to the “drop off counter” .. mind you no one is there to assist so i stood there for 8 minutes until the pharmacist Esther came over said she cant take my copy prescription due to it not being sign!!! Even though I tell her it is just a receipt because it was sent electronically.. she is going back and forth telling me “you don’t understand” like lady I work in the medical field too. Even I know rx copies cant be signed! She then magically finds my sons prescription and tells me it will be ready in 10 minutes. While picking up the order I overheard her tell the tech to pay more attention in saying medications aren’t received because she just got 3 patients after me with the same issue. Must be a glitch in their system.

From the scamming associates to the Pharmacy, I swear these people really think tossing around their position makes the situation any better. My doctor send over 3 scripts and MYSTERIOUSLY only 2 come thru. They confirmed receipt for ALL 3 tho. Then as I question them about it, instead of just simply saying, sometimes there can be a glitch if too many request come in at once, but no...They think that printing out some useless paper and repeating the same mindless nonsense is the ticket, all the while standing in my face chewing gum telling me "I'm the Pharmacy Manager and if we received it we would have filled it!" What does ur title have 2 do with anything? I want 2 know why this happened so going forward, I can inform my provider that they may need 2 send the request twice because the system may glitch, which has NEVER happened before in the several years I've been getting my scripts filled with CVS. Please stop hiring these people who think their title makes them any better. Just try 2 figure out the problem and rectify it! It's always this location with 12 people behind the counter and 1 person on the register with 9 people in line waiting 4 their scripts, Clock It!

The first ever 1 star review I’ve left for any place, and for good reason. Do not fill your prescriptions here!!! You’ll be on hold for 20+ minutes, frequently put on hold again and picked up by someone who has no idea what’s going on, and then lied to repeatedly about when your prescription will be available. Try the CVS in Rockville, much better.

If I could leave a zero star, that’s what I would do. I never leave any bad reviews for anyone. However, this CVS is the worst in customer service and the dirtiest CVS I have ever visited. I have been in and out of that store to pick up medications many times; there is not a single person in the pharmacy who is nice. Everyone has an attitude, and they seem to HATE their jobs. Maybe they need to look for a new job as they seem to hate helping others. I feel sicker every time I walk out of that place. I’m sorry for all the heavy words; unfortunately, they have horrible customer service, and they will treat you poorly and make you wait for hours. I will recommend any other location but this one.

I was at the CVS store 11/21/23 to pick up my prescription. The pharmacist Kaitlyn was very nice and even helped me how to save on my prescription and showed me how to do it online. She’s a a gem. She’s one of a kind in this store a breath of fresh air. Most of her colleagues just doesn’t care. Montgomery Village store should hire more Kaitlyn’s.

This cvs is horrible; pharmacy tells to prescription will be ready in 1.5 hrs ; you get there hrs later : they tell you to wait another half hour with no remorse. The pharmacist and staff are all ill mannered. Wonder how this location is still in business. GHETTO

No home training. I called today at 4:08am to ask why I keep on receiving a higher copay than stated on my insurance. Also for the same medicine I used to be prescribed? There was a savage African lady shooting out on the phone that it’s my Aetna insurance blah blah.I don’t have Aetna and I never had. She kept on yelling so many non sense. I’m about to pick up my prescription today and change the CVS. So many bad experiences keep on pilling up from this pharmacy.

I see a lot of negative reviews. My experience was entirely different. Came to pick up my prescription and Poppi at the pharmacy was a wonderful help! She had 10/10 customer service and a 10/10 attitude. Highly recommend!

I used CVS on Rothbury for 20+ years, but that store was closed and my pharmacy information was sent to this store. Yesterday, I made the decision to call my doctor and ask them to send all prescriptions to a different pharmacy, NOT any CVS stores. I have been lied to in person and by text.

Terrible experience with a vaccine appointment. Checked in@the pharmacy for a previously scheduled appointment. Gave clerk my name and insurance information. Was told to wait in the vaccination section. 30 minutes after my appointment time the pharmacist tells me that there’s a problem because I’m uninsured. I explain that I have already given the pharmacy clerk my insurance information. Then I receive a text from cvs that my appointment is cancelled. Will not use CVS for vaccines again.

It is ridiculous!!! I made an appointment for myself and my husband for Flu shot at 10:30 pm. We received a CVS confirmation message and drove to the pharmacy, but pharmacist said we need to be rescheduled for tomorrow or another day. I am wondering how CVS offers Flu shot when the pharmacist can easily cancel it. It was second bad experience with same pharmacist in this store. I took my son to this store for flu shot without appointment last week around 8 pm and same pharmacist said they don’t do vaccine without appointment. My son asked if there is any appointment that we can take it for tonight and she said no. We came back home and I made an appointment for my son for Flu shot at 10 pm on that night in same store. We came back and my son got his flu shot!!!!!

If you value your life, do not get your prescriptions here. This pharmacy is criminally negligent at best and actively causing deaths at worst. I have no idea how many people have died because of their incapacity to do their jobs. Mental health, cancer patient, it doesn’t matter. DO NOT fill or refill your prescription here. These people are nasty, rude and do not have no home training. I went around noon to fill a prescription, the gentleman told me to come back in 2 hours. I returned 5 hours later for the new guy in the drive through to tell me that my prescription was not available. I asked him why couldn’t CVS send a text letting me know that my prescription was delayed same way they send a text saying it’s ready, his response was “we don’t do that” I was frustrated because I had just waiting 1 hour in the drive through for nothing.I asked if he could returned my prescription and he said sure come inside. I asked him again, if I come inside, will you guys give me a paper prescription he responded with you’re not listening your prescription is out of stock. I then said no you’re not listening. I specifically asked you, if I come inside will you guys give me my paper prescription. He responded with your not listening your prescription is out of stock. I mentioned you’re not listening to me. I specifically asked would you be able to return my paper prescription so I can get it filled elsewhere and he walked away. He came back a few mins later smiling and laughing. I told him I wasn’t leaving until I get an answer. He then said I already answered your question. Once things started to escalate. The pharmacist came over and he wasn’t helpful at all.. JP the guy at the drive through doesn’t care about the customers and has a nasty attitude. He shouldn’t even have a job working with customers

Idk what another bad review is gonna do considering this pharmacy has the worst reviews I have ever seen and I wish I read them before coming here. Omg you cannot find a worse pharmacy, so un organized, my prescription was called in at 11 am I came to pick it up at 3 and it is now 4:45 and I am still waiting and told “it’ll be ready in 30” or less. Now I’m scared to leave and come back because my prescriptions might never get filled. It’s hard to trust a pharmacy when they are clearly unorganized and unprofessional. I will never come here again. This is repulsive.

Your employess suck. Had me waiting 20 minutes in the drive thru because a guy wanted to clock out. the lady who clocked in just walked around the prescription passed it around to 2 other employees and and had told me I had to wait longer because the pharmacist was administrating vaccines. I parked my car walked in line had been empty the lady sees me and says someone will help you in a minute. The next employee Janet condesedingly asked me if I needed help and mid conservation she yells other customers to come over to the side. I asked her we could please finish the transaction as the card ready had been waiting on the cashier input. And she tells oh It's waiting for you, I can't finish the transaction until you print your receipt.. this is worst cvs service I've ever experienced. Please demote/decompensate the people who are think that making people wait to and pass around someone's medical prescriptions as a joke immediately there should be no foolishness in the medical field as this could have easily been a matter someone's life or death.

If I could give no stars, I would. This is by far, the worst pharmacy in the entire east coast. The staff at the pharmacy counter are always disinterested and unhelpful, making it difficult to address the issues customers face.One of the most concerning problems was receiving the wrong prescription several times. This is not only a severe inconvenience but also a potential health risk. I expected a high level of accuracy when it comes to medication, and CVS Pharmacy failed to meet this basic expectation.This location frequently runs out of stock without notifying customers in advance to make alternative arrangements. This lack of communication leads to wasted trips and inconvenience. It’s important for a pharmacy to maintain adequate stock levels and inform customers if a prescription can’t be filled promptly.Another issue I encountered was CVS Pharmacy’s failure to save insurance and payment information properly. It was frustrating to repeatedly provide the same information, which should be on file. This inefficiency added unnecessary delays to the already disappointing experiences.These issues have left me with a negative impression of CVS Pharmacy and encouraged me to switch to the Safeway Pharmacy on Goshen.

Glad you need a union lunch and people can’t pick up the prescriptions. CVS is by far the worst pharmacy to go to. I will be changing asap. Service is completely unacceptable. On way home with newborn baby and can’t get prescriptions because you all need to go in lunch at the same time.

I went to pickup my prescription that was not filled on time! I walked into a very dirty store. I was the 7th person on line and had to listen to Spanish music playing overhead in an American CVS store. All the staff spoke Spanish to all Spanish customers! This is America learn English!Very disappointed in this CVS and will NEVER use this CVS ever again! Besides the dirty store I saw prescriptions laying on the floor!

Went to this store for a return and an older man helped me. Then he asked me “why did you buy it and return it? “ in a frustrated and rude way.If you asked if there is anything wrong with it , then that’s different, but I shouldn’t be questioned why I’m returning something that didn’t work out for me especially cvs policy allows returns.

This CVS is downright awful. From feeling like you will get robbed/mugged in the parking lot. To it Taking them 4 days to fill a prescription that you called in. It's absolutely ridiculous. They simply don't have enough people working at that store to handle the massive amount of people that are there. There will be a line across the store 15 people deep at the pharmacy, and they only have 3 people working. This isn't a rare thing, it's an everyday thing. I'm changing pharmacies because this is just ridiculous. I can't get my prescriptions filled here cuz they take so long to fill them that you run out in the 4 days. And if you go inside they tell you to come back in 3-5 hours for it.

I would give this pharmacy zero stars if it was possible. I was transferred here when Rothbury closed. The differences are night and day between the two. As others have mentioned, there is always a long slowly moving line when physically going to the location. They always seem to have at least half a dozen or more folks behind the counter yet function consistently as if they are severely understaffed. Prescriptions are rarely, if ever, available when promised. Plan on at least half a day later than when they promise, if not days later.If you have to call to resolve an issue, you'll need to have the patience of a saint and luck to boot! Try calling during the day time / normal business hours? Forget it. Even if you "cheat" and select calling from a doctors office, you are still placed on hold for HOURS and that is only if you are lucky and not randomly disconnected after holding for over an hour. When I tried calling in the middle of the night, I waited from 1AM until after 4AM (and was disconnected) when I was asked to "hold for just a minute".Not everyone has the luxury of being able to go to the pharmacy every time there is a problem, and trust me, with this location... there will be many problems. We have also received medications with incorrect quantities (received 30, bottle/script said 60) from this location. Busy is one thing, but why should I trust filling my medication with a store that cannot be truthful / answer phones / do their jobs?So I wanted to take a moment to update this review. We have since tried to escalate the issues we've experienced with this location. The store manager is .. well I don't have nice words to put here. He allowed his employees and pharmacist to just walk away from an ongoing inquiry not to reappear in the next hour. Absolutely no one "in charge" will give you a name (or contact info) and they don't wear name tags (or if they do, they don't respond to the name on their tag).This location has been without a dedicated pharmacy manager since at least when we were transferred here from Rothbury. When we asked to escalate an incorrect fill issue to the pharmacy manager last week, we were told that they are on vacation. Not a single person could name the "new pharmacy manager" nor tell us when they would be back from vacation. What in the actual @#$!? We were told the issue could not be fixed per "policy" - yet no one could show us said policy. One of the techs told us the computer wouldn't allow it, but couldn't tell us who could override the computer since there was currently no pharmacy manager. The only escalation that they offered after speaking at length with the store manager, was to call the generic 1 800 shop CVS / corporate number.

Literally every single review here expresses the same sentiments. Why does the company not care?????? They’re so low staffed and it’s in a busy location. I always feel so bad and try to be patient but even I reached my limit today! Every single visit I have an issue with the photo department because the cashier person has to stop helping the line and help me even when it’s online orders. Please care about your employees so they can help the customers better. Stop caring about just profit and staff this place please!

The pharmacy has been a disaster for years. Tonight I was waiting in the drive through line for more than 1.5 hours. I called the store manager to let her know I had been sitting at the window for 30 minutes without seeing anyone from the pharmacy. The manager, Sonia, was rude and unprofessional and actually stated "if you can't be patient you can come back later." After waiting more than 1.5 hours, to say that a customer "can't be patient" is beyond rude. For years, I have dealt with the disorganization and hassle of this pharmacy. But having a manager be so rude and unprofessional and unhelpful is what finally inspired me to write a review.

I have never had an issues with getting my prescription until I started going here. It's a toss up if you get a nice employee or one who just seems tired of you as soon as you start talking to you at the pharmacy.Place is fine for anything other than medicine and is convenient due to being 24 hours. But do not go here for your prescriptions.
