One of my favorite places to visit! I'm fairly new to my bird hobby and I've learned so much from Paul and the other staff. My first time in the store, Paul spent so much time educating me and showing me all the goodies. My friends call me the bird nerd now and I love it! 🤓

I try to shop small and locally - therefore, I don't support mega companies like Walmart (like the other reviewer who previously posted). This store has a huge variety of bird feeders, bird baths, bird food, and lots of other different items. The store owner is very informative and friendly. I'd recommended this place to those just starting out bird feeding/bird watching and those who are experienced.

I've been purchasing bird seed and feeders from this store for years, both at their old Germantown location and now at their new Liberty location. I really like the owners and the quality merchandise and seed they sell. Highly recommend to all bird lovers, and to those who are married to bird lovers as they also have great gifts.

I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for and quality matters. This certainly applies to wild bird food and feeders. We feed year round and have for many years. It was several years before we got smart about the food we put out and stopped wasting $ buying food stuffed with filler seeds that just ended up on the ground feeding the mice rather than the birds. Switched to an online service with high quality food, but they were recently bought out and were gone; that is what lead me to WBU, who offer high quality food at very competitive prices (compared to SAME type/quality seed from other vendors). They also offer a wide variety of high quality feeders. You can definitely get cheaper feeders from big box stores or online, but I can tell you from experience that those feeders won't survive a few squirrels raids, and the minute a racoon or bear find it, it's gone. I have one feeder that WBU offers that is 5 yrs old, survived two bear and three racoon attacks, and is highly squirrel resistant and it is STILL GOING (and not marketed to resist anything other squirrels). I recently purchased a second, different design squirrel-resistant feeder from them to support larger songbirds, and by the construction and design, I expect that to hold up very well over the years, too. Feeders are easy to clean, very durable, don't take on water and spoil seed, and they'll even assemble them for you at the store before you go (if you want). The proprietors are very friendly and helpful, so don't be afraid to ask questions about any of their products. Definitely recommend their bird bucks program if you are a regular seed buyer like we are.

Personalized service. My husband bought me a hummingbird feeder here and we enjoyed watching them so much, came back for a regular bird feeder. it has become a family pastime! Headed back to get one as a gift for a neighbor.

Everyone here loves birds. They are very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I love this place. It is one of our local small businesses and it is one we can't afford to lose. If you love wild birds, this is the place for you.

I would never recommend this place. Everything sold here is EXTREMELY overpriced. For example, standard hanging tube feeders here were around 50$ where I could get one at lowes or wallmart of similar quality for 15$. Some of the wood feeders also range from 35-60$ where I could get similar ones at wallmart for 10$. The seed they sell is also very overpriced, a standard 25 pound bag of mixed bird seed is 25$ where I can get the same size bag at southern states, tractor supply, lowes, or wallmart for about $8. I have bought seed here and have compared it to cheap wallmart seed and haven't noticed a difference in looks and quality, and the birds don't seem to care. This store is just trying to make money by making it seem like there seed and feeders are the best when in reality you could get the same quality seeds and feeders at stores like wallmart for a fraction of the price. I would NOT recommend this store.
