They keep jacking up prices on everything. $9 for a $3 bottle of bleach, for example. Everything across the board is going up in price, paint, wood, etc, while the company raked in billions in profits in 2023 every quarter. Manufactured price inflation at work.Great customer service though and staff are always friendly and knowledgable and willing to help.

We have used Home Depot before to purchase our heat pump and had a great experience with the contracted team. Our recent purchase of a GE Dishwasher with installation was a disaster. The installers are Temko and what they did could barely be called installation. We called Home Depot to let them know the unit was installed improperly the same day and they said they would send out new installers to resolve the issue. By the time the new installers came to look at the dishwasher it was outside of the 48 hour window for returns. That group did not have the parts to fix the issue but said we could use the dishwasher and a new team would come out to put in a new bracket and the gasket needed to make the unit flush with the counter. The unit hung out of the cabinet when the door was open but we tried it and it leaked from the front panel. The next Temko group said it was defective. Home Depot said there is nothing they can do about it due to it being over 48 hours. We contacted GE who sent out a crew and they looked at the dishwasher and it was deemed defective and in need of back ordered parts. So it has been over a mont of run around and we are now fighting with GE about back order parts for an item that was sold to us that is defective. If this were a TV we would be able to bring the item back to the store. Whatever you do, do not purchase a small appliance through Home Depot, and certainly do not let Temko to install it. If there is any issue do not listen to Home Depot that some one will be out to fix it. Ask for a return immediately.

Home Depot, the place for the fixers and tinkerers alike. I have fond memories of my Papa bringing me here. They have all the supplies you need for a home project. Paint, wood, tools, cleaning products, garden stuff, nails, etc. I like to go check out the Ryobi products and the plants.

I had unassembled bookcases still in large, heavy boxes that needed to be returned to Home Depot. Using the online return link, the process was easy and quick. UPS was contacted by HD and both boxes were picked up from my home within two days. Very pleased with process.

In and out quickly, and I used the human cashier lines. The line was about seven deep eventhough the self check outs were empty. The cashier was very quick and friendly. I looked online to see if the lumber was in stock, it was, and it was in the aisle the website said it was. Easy and fast.

I had the most impressive experience at this HD location. Doug in Customer Service and Karla Weedon in Appliances are true rock stars! The company overall was experiencing IT issues that created a stressful situation regarding my purchase, and they both went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Not only were they incredibly professional, but they were kind and empathetic at a time when I really needed it. Additionally, the two gentlemen who delivered our washer were absolutely fantastic. A scenario that could have been relatively disasterous resulted in a positive experience thanks to this group of people.

This is a relatively smaller Home Depot, with the product selection being more tailored towards contractors in my opinion. There are less of the home furnishing products and some of the larger stores. Nevertheless, the store is always clean, organized, and well stocked.

Like most home depot stores, they usually have everything in stock and the staff specifically at the pro desk are great, I wouldn't necessarily custom order anything from the orange box, that's not their strength, but they are 100% with everything that surrounds those 4 walls, great business.The only thing the blue box does better is cleanliness....in my opinion.

I like this store overall.Terrible return policy. or employees making returns more difficult to do.Paint desk should have experienced individuals who know how to acknowledge customers in a timely manner. Time is valuable.They should put quality people there no matter what hour of day it is.ESPECIALLY if you have a no return policy on paints.and.. don’t buy the ryobi stick vacuum. It’s terrible.

Follow up to my earlier review. ONCE AGAIN, DO NOT USE HOME DEPOT FOR YOUR KITCHEN RENOVATIONS. Their solution to making mistakes and hiding behind the contract is to fix THIER MISTAKE, at cost. Sorry Home Depot, 2 can make a contract work for them. I can't wait until I get to nitpick the work after it's done. It's going to be epic.

i shop a lot at various home depot. i traveled to the Frederick on McCain Rd. store from Rockville MD because they have a product other local stores do not have in the garden department. today was the worst experience with any home depot. there were no signs the cashier front area in the garden was closed because there was “ renovations going on”. i managed to get the product i needed to the self check out. complained about the extra work to purchase when told the two cashier areas were closed due to “renovations” in the area. i was offered no help with the product with 200 lbs in the cart to even get it to the car . i let the attendant know i was giving a bad review. suggest for heavy products like mulch call ahead for pickup and let the staff bring it to your car until the “renovations” are done

It is not safe! It is not safe to go to this store. When I asked an employee about the black car with flashing lights and temporary tags following people in the parking lot. The employee said it was security. The employee further went on to tell me about the Stabbings and weapons found in the parking lot. I'm used to seeing security at places. however I'm not used the the amount of violence She told me about, that was directed at employees and customers. She had true fear in her voice and how they need security there. I'm surprised that the police in Frederick alow it.

Update- after checking my order for outdoor furniture was completed correctly, I was reassured it was being processed. I waited a week and called on the status- this time they told me, the order will not be fulfilled as it was out of stock and not available to order from manufacturer. This information took 3 salesman and one manager approximately 2 hrs on the phone. Very disappointing to have checked and still waited for something that was never going to arrive. Money refunded was the only option from the manager. Not going there again.

I ordered lumber for a job. Payed for it and was told the delivery date and the hrs of 9-11. After 12 they told me truck was being loaded. After 3 truck was on its way. At 6 was told truck is a few minutes away. 630 they canceled the order and scheduled it a week later. I canceled because that's unacceptable. 2 weeks later and I'm still fighting for my money. After 4-5 days was refunded $47 of $4000 and was told it will take up to a month to get my money back. I believe they are crooked as our govt

We frequent this home depot and the store is typically neatly organized and there are employees readily available if assistance is needed. Today we were assisted by Andy in the lighting department he helpful beyond expectation, he helped us identify that a light fixture we were instereted in was not in stock, other stores where it was in stock, the potiential methods and cost of shipping. Ultimatly we decided to purchase the display model, he volentarily checked that the model worked, put in a new lightbulb and printed the manual all in a timely fashion.Thank you!

4.5 ** We’ve relied on the west Frederick THD for most of our home DIY needs for 13 years — windows, appliances, paints, plants, tiles, and more. In that time, we’ve been consistently met with courteous, professionals who know their store well and are generous with their time and advice. They are usually well stocked, even during sale events. And customer service at the returns desk is always helpful. Having been to other THDs and other DIY stores, we know these things aren’t always true.We hold back a half star only because we have been ignored or met with rude and discourteous employees occasionally, but they are the exception, not the rule, at this store.

I visited this location on a Monday evening. In the 10 minutes I was in the store I was offered help by four different employees. Every employee had a smile on their face and when I got to the car, an employee Juan found me and asked me if I needed help loading the car. This location will be my go to from now on.

Update:My family ordered a Refrigerator for delivery. Karla helped us pick out one in our price range that was perfect for our needs. She was super helpful and was an expert on the appliances. We thought the delivery process would be messy but we were shocked. It could be delivered just a few days later! Ronal and his partner delivered it in the window of time they had told us. It was all such a great and flawless experience. We are super comfortable making big purchases from home depot after such a great experience.Everyone I encountered at this store were friendly and helpful. Tom in the tool rental was exceptional. I rented an auger and he (respectfully) taught me how to put it together and use it. Jeff helped me load it into my car and he was so helpful.
