DO NOT GO HERE FOR PRINTS / CUTS. Man I feel bad for my clerk because he was super kind. But honestly cannot stress enough that you should go to a local shop instead of here. Need items cut? Nope they don’t wanna cut that specific paper, but they’ll point you to a broken cutting machine you can use. Need items printed? Sure their self-service printers can help you, except they’re going to charge you $90 and then the printer won’t print the way you’d like even after having the clerk check your formatting. Absolutely a disaster and it’s genuinely a staples problem not the fault of the team-members. This business stinks.

Had a great experience making a return the other day. I don’t remember the cashier’s name, but it must have been his first day/week. He was so kind to every single person in line, and had a great attitude (this was 30mins before close and, we’ve all been there, it is hard to not get frustrated with yourself when you’re training).

If you use rewards, they now force digital receipts without asking. Cashiers just say “your receipt will be emailed” accompanied by “now leave” stare. Digital receipts are fine if given the choice, but occasionally need paper receipts. Not giving customers option for printed receipts is illegal. Also shelf tag prices don’t reflect current sale prices.

My Mom and I needed ink cartridges for our printers. Mom has wanted to get another computer to replace the desktop that is no longer upgradable and no longer supported. We stopped by the laptops and was checking them out. The Technician can over to see if he could help which was fine, then he went back over to his area.We decided on a laptop and went over to find out if he had any. This is when things went down hill. The Technician started to try to sell us on all kinds of things like a new printer, a separate monitor, a USB flash drive, and service warranty. By this time I am getting aggravated and said "You haven't even told us if you have one."For witch he replied that he did. I told him I didn't need all that extra stuff at this time but would like to get the computer.He went to get one and was gone for a while. I saw him go in one place and came out to check some where else to finally come back to tell us he didn't have the one we wanted, nor did he have the one like it with less memory. To follow that up with they are discontinuing the model. At that point, I thanked him for his time and check out with what I was there for. Probably will not return to shop computers again or any electronics. I do not like high pressure sales tactics. I will shop elsewhere.

Went to this store and at 1st the printer machine was not working. However Justine and Rob were phenomenal in customer service. They took the time to explain why it wasn't working and were able to provide an alternative solution. Thank you both for the help.

Do NOT shop here if you are older in age. Blatant disrespect from the cashier to the older gentleman in front of me in line, as well as myself. We was treated like a burden. Costco deals with 1000s of people a day and they still give you more time of day, even with 10 people in line behind you.

There’s no reason they can’t take UPS Amazon returns here. Sorry, but reviews are the only way to make change these days. The staff was super friendly but this is a management/admin problem.

Well the store was pretty empty so social distancing wasn't a problem. I ve been there before and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Too include a mature gentleman greeted me as he walked by tonight.However, the question of a sale item online seems to spark irration from 2 staff members. Which could be why the store has less customers because that is what we want, a bargin, stock items, supplies when we need it. The cashier was the worst. While trying to speak with her about a sale item she was busy grabbing items to ring up and was focused on not speaking and acting like she was interrupted from reading a good book.Very sad service. Especially when she rang up items that i needed a price check. When i requested to remove the items seemed to cause more attitude. She was so busy rushing that she decided not to bag some of my items and stuffed my receipt onto a bag without asking with no one but me in the line. Maybe her hair dye was causing her brain squeeze! Will go to the other location on Frederick road instead of my neighborhood location in the future. Don't need nasty service while we have bigger issues facing our nation!

Went to Staples late Wednesday evening with the hope of testing out some office chairs after returning a terribly uncomfortable one from a popular online retailer. The chairs were all nicely displayed and it didn't take long for an employee to stop by and check on me. Chris was very personable and knowledgeable, and he answered my questions in an upbeat and professional way. I found an insanely comfortable chair that I would swear took my back pain away, so I ended up leaving with it. Didn't get his name, but the manager stopped by and it was obvious he has a good relationship with the employees. All around good experience. Highly recommend getting an office chair from them 👍

I try to find my necessary office supplies anywhere but here. This store consistently has the dumbest cashiers and unhelpful employees. On average, I have to spend twice as much time at checkout because the cashier has no training or is clueless on how to ring up a simple order correctly. Right now, we are returning an item that was clearly marked one price but we were charged an additional $20.00, then will have to wait until someone gets a clue how to make this right.This Staples sucks each and every time

Staff is not knowledgeable and purposely provided bad information about technology on two occasions, once to discourage me from making a purchase and once to get me to purchase a cable that was already included. Cashiers and management seem pleasant, but the people giving tech advice have no business doing so, Google is a better resource. And it just keeps getting worse. Bought some Staple brand raffle tickets, the website to get the template as described in the back is a phishing site looking to steal credentials and install malware. Awful company.

Not unlike any other Staples you may visit. The parking lot for this store is a little strange, and crossing safely to reach the safety of the sidewalk can be a challenge. This is no fault of Staples, but it is a reality of shopping at this location.I haven't had any bad experiences with the staff. I've used the option to shop online and pick up the purchase at this store a few times, and it worked out to be an easy process.I've used the copy center once and the staff here we're helpful.

I purchased a Microsoft Surface 2 Type Cover from Staples on Cyber Monday. The keyboard was on sale for $50 less than the normal retail price. I chose "in store pick up" as this was the only option available. The order went through, I received an email stating I could pick the product up in two hours, and the company held the money in my bank account. It was close to close of business, so I went the next morning to pick up my order. I waited in the store with my 18 month old daughter for someone to help me. When a gentleman finally came to retrieve my order he told me orders placed after 3 p.m. were not available until two business days later, even though my confirmation email stated two hours. He asked me to wait, and after about 10 more minutes informed me that my order had been cancelled because it was out of stock. I could see two of the keyboards I ordered hanging on the shelf near where we were standing. After leaving the store, I received an email from Staples saying my order had been cancelled. I called the help line only to be transferred to the same store that did not fill my order to begin with, without any notification I was being transferred. When I called back a second time, a very rude, condescending lady answered the phone. She spoke to me like a child while she tried to explain their system sells products, even if the warehouse is sold out, and I received the notification because the warehouse had run out, but the website didn’t know the warehouse had run out. This makes no sense, as orders are available for pick up in two hours according to the confirmation page and confirmation email. So the warehouse ships individual orders to stores within a two hour time frame? Not likely. The other part of her claim that doesn’t fit is the website not representing what was actually in stock. The other colors of the keyboard were clearly listed as “OUT OF STOCK” on the store’s website, so there was only a glitch with the color I chose? The color and item I chose that was clearly hanging on a shelf close to where I was standing? When I placed my order, I could not order online because there were none available to ship. I could, however, place the order at the sale price for store pick up. The store chose not to honor the price because it was after Cyber Monday, even though I had already purchased the item and they held the money, and are still holding the money in my account. Their website showed the item as being in stock and available for pick up. If it is their system error, they should still honor the price. The item is now $50 more, and I don't plan to do business with this company again. I spent $50 while I was in the store Tuesday, but I am returning all of the items I purchased and will never do business with Staples again. Their business practices are shady, customer service is rude, and they have no problem lying to your face.

I bought an office chair less than 3 months ago and it broke. I went to the store to see what they can do. They basically told me that if it happened within 14 days I could return it otherwise there's nothing we're going to do. They also said try contacting the manufacturer and see if they can help. So my take on this store once they have your money they aren't interested in helping you. I managed to get a hold of the customer service department and they're sending me a new arm. I will not go back to this store

Takes a long time to answer the phone Wednesday afternoon. Very rude haagg answering phone. She misunderstood my question so gave answer to a question I didn’t ask, then had a sarcastic attitude when I politely repeated my question. Yeah it’s my fault she can’t understand basic English lol.

Every time I visit this Staples I have a bad experience. Is it the short-staffed can't-get-a-single-person-to-help problem? Or the copycenter that takes a half hour to make one copy, only then to discover there's a problem? Or maybe it's the fact that checking out is amazingly stupid, and there's only one employee for a long line of customers. Hire more people and better ones!

I’m only giving them a 1 star because you have to in order to write a review. My wife and I have purchased thousands of dollars worth of monitors, computer and other office needs over the years but we will be taking our business elsewhere from here in out. My wife was a victim of racial profiling today and it was really disappointing. I hope that others speak up if this happens to them as well.

An ok Staples. The location on Urbana pike is better. The staff tends to be rude and discourteous, as has been experienced on multiple occasions. If you're in the area, you might as well stop by, but I would rather go out of my way to the other location in Frederick.

I called to see if the store had I-Phone Batteries and if they could replace them. I was told that they had plenty and that I didn't need to make an appointment. When I went to the store the next day they were out. I was not pleased since it is a 20 mile trip into town.
