My German Shepherd has never gone and gotten groomed, I always do it, took her in and heather was great, so patient, so nice and great with my dog, my dog looked so good when I picked her up

Although, I appreciate the concern for my pet MeeYah on 11/4/23, I requested that she receive a full cut. The stylist stated that if she appeared frightened, they would not do the cut. I was very angry to find out that THEY decided they could not provide the services I requested. The only way a dog is going to get use to cutting her hair is to do the job. If additional help was required, I would have paid for that. They did keep me updated throughout the process, albeit, I requested they cut her hair and eventually she would get use to it. At some point the dog needs a full cut. MeeYah is 6 months old and has her rabies shot. I presented her papers. I come to pick her up, she was given a puppy trim, it was uneven around her face, she did NOT get what I, the customer, requested, and I was charged $80.00 something dollars. I will NEVER go back to Petco for anything. If a customer requests a service and the dog has all vaccines, do the job. I can’t keep spending $80.00 or more for multiple visits so the dog can get use to the clippers. My dog will never get her hair cut. Not only that, I came in to pick MeeYah up stood there, for 5 minutes, another customer came in, and they immediately gave her her dog and even took time to chat, with me standing there. How inconsiderate! I even left the stylist a tip for her time. If anything, I need to be refunded for not proving a service I requested. This company works with multiple dogs and should be trained in how to handle dogs that appear frightened to get a cut.Beyond angry,Dr. Toye Latimore301/325-5911

Heather was very accommodating by giving me the first appointment of the day (8:30 am). My dog doesn't like the crate so I have to be available to pick him up as soon as he's done. He looked and smelled so good when I picked him up. Because of her recommendation on treatment and food, his skin issues are almost non-existent now. I do plan to continue to use Petco in Prince Frederick for his grooming needs.

It was our first time taking our dogs to be groomed since we rescued them. When they came home they look great! Buford is our wild child, but you were able to do a wonderful job on him. Scarlet looked and smelled good, of course until her and Buford wrestled around in the dirt that evening!

Shelby always does a fantastic job grooming our dog, Buck. He is a high energy, anxious German shepherd but Shelby doesn't let Buck intimidate her, She knows he's just a drama king and he settles right down and he comes home looking handsome. We highly recommend Shelby! She does an awesome job!

The grooming staff at Prince Frederick Petco are always top notch. This was our first time with Salena and she did a wonderful job grooming my Chihuahua. We look forward to returning on a regular basis.

I booked an appointment on 11/28 for 3:30pm. I arrived at 3:15 for them to tell me they couldn't groom by puppy because they were closing early. I explained that I'd come from Lexington Park and no one cared. I asked why I could book the appointment if they were closing early, no answer. Its ridiculous. Im so irritated and annoyed

The groomer Taylor is excellent at what she do, she is patient with Daelo and she was able to educate us on some things we needed to know! Her compassion and love for animals, is pure and top notched.

Please beware!!! Do not take your pets here to get groomed. I was walking past the grooming window and saw a Groomer mistreat a dog who was scared and skittish to get a haircut. The Groomer grabbed the pup by his paw yanking him or her back trying to cut there hair. Clearly they were hurting the pup. Finally after another Groomer noticed my facial expression of disappointment due to mistreatment they stepped in to help. But by then the pup was already scared. It took seeing me to fix the situation, so imagine what they do behind closed doors to these animals that need proper grooming. Please stay away!!

My visits to Petco Grooming are for nail trimming only. Each visit, the groomers are well aware of the anxiety issues with my older Jack Russell and always handle him with care.

I certainly cant get Nani's nails trimmed on my own. You guys manage to get it done beautifully. Sometime we will have to try a bath.
