First-timer really enjoyed the variety of options. Hubbie and I tried the steak and cheese. I scored the $4.99 version. He upgraded to the prime version for $9.99. Both were juicy and flavorful. The price is unbeatable especially for the quality of the beef.

Best selection of hand trimmed meats around. Great butcher shop with excellent selection of beef, pork, chicken, and seafood. Plus a huge deli with hot and cold choices. Great liquor selection too! If you are shopping elsewhere you are wasting your time.

I stop in daily or at least 4 times a week to get what ever meat or seafood I need to use for dinner. There fresh rock fish has been really good the past few times I have had it they had farm raised but the fish is back in season. I also like their huge selection of liquor and wines.

Loved the hay and pumpkin decorations outside and inside the store. Their deli is astonishingly good and their meat is fresh and excellent for a terrific meal you cook or barbeque. The rest of the store is clean and well organized. The fresh veggies and dairy are kept up. Their cookies are the bomb.

Bought crabmeat. It wasn’t sealed. I returned it & asked for a replacement. Store manager, Ethan, would not replace or offer anything other than rudeness. He told me it’s not their job to make sure the crabmeat is sealed. Not the customer service that Nicks was originally based. Much prefer Nicks of Clinton. Are you serious? You told me to put the crabmeat in the freezer & return it when I was back in the area. I looked it up - it was 2 months ago. You need a reassignment- you do not know customer service. Your employees were complaining about you, you only know how to escalate. You were wrong - plain & simple. You are too inexperienced for the power that you’ve given yourself. I Love Nick's of Calvert County. This is my go to for my steaks and other meats. They even have spirits, wines, specialty beer and libations. I recently signed up on their email list, and Iam notified each week before a sale. I was able to snag a great deal on NY strip steaks and baby back ribs just in time for Labor Day!Great little specialty store!!!Next time I will try the IPA mix/ match six pack.

Was here to pick up some meat because it's the closest thing to a butcher shop I have found. The selection of meat is good and priced well. The store looks clean and customer service was good, I was ould definitely sign up for the weekly special newsletter because they have discounts all the time

Nick's is always the place to go for high quality meat, spices, seafood and other grocery items. You get a much higher quality product than from any grocery store in the area AND it is always cheaper per unit. I love this place and make a drive weekly from Piney Point area over an hour away. Always worth it.

I love a great specialty supermarket! Nicks is it, they have a wide selection of Italian food items, a great deli with delicious and affordable sandwich selections. They also have a meat counter for fresh items like loose sausage, beef, etc. If you want liquor you can buy that at Nicks too. This one of my go to grocery stores in Calvert County.

This place has it all !! Not a huge super market but a large selection of meat,deli,beer ,liquor and wine. They also have steam shrimp and seafood the deli does food to order and the huge benefit a growler station where they do allow a taste test of each batch they have at that time. They have to sizes of growler available and a Very knowledgeable staff. Give them a chance you'll be surprised! Convient location maybe a little hard to pull a trailer into this parking lot but would be doable.

Id really just give half a star they suck management is rude he can't handle the pressure of someone who is upset they are incompetent of taking orders and over staffed, yet can't seem to get anything done they are terrible plain and rude never step foot into this store I'd go somewhere else for your family to get a real lunch and treated right!

Been going to nicks for over 30 years. I moved to lusby and started going to the Calvert location. What a disappointment. I always ordered 2 roast beef subs. The last 3 times I’ve ordered the roast beef was so dry and salty I couldn’t even eat them. Please bring back the rare moist roast beef so I can enjoy your subs again.Since this post I decided to go back and give them one more try. I wasn’t disappointed. It was the roast beef sub that I’ve always remembered. Thank u for the delicious subs.

The butcher counter was very friendly quality is amazing of all the meats and cashiers were friendly as well great experience and a really good place to go for fresh meat of any kind as well as things at the deli counter too alcohol prices if you drink are very very good the only negative thing I would say is all the other grocery items are a bit overpriced

I bought 2 full racks of new york strip (uncut) a couple months ago and sadly enough when I went to trim them one of the racks was spoiled. Brought it back and the manager met with me and inspected it and replaced it with no hesitation. Great customer service. Never had any issues other than that one incident with anything Ive purchased there. And their deli subs are amazing!
