Nice store. Pleasant employees. 1 little thing, products are mismarked. For instance: in store, shelf sticker read, $8.99. At register, the bag's barcode scanned $15.99. I observed this on a prior visit and wondered if I'd misinterpreted something. Today, I just thought I'd share because at first my budget met the fee, $8.99x2. But painfully, to my embarrassment, I had to quickly return a bag to its place on the shelf with its confusing price sticker. Well, anyway, I'm satisfied with my product (1 bag 😊) and service. Thank you.

I have delt with lusby for years now, I have always been treated with respect and felt respected there,Wess,Dave, Cindy and all of the employees there treat me with so much respect, I actually own a small engine repair business near by and these guys treat me with the highest level of respect, show's you they're home town people that care about everyone, the best people, and the most pleasant company I have ever seen, have the greatest level of respect for them

This is my local hardware shop. Everything is well organized and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Also (this is a pet peeve of mine with Home Depot) almost every single person there is knowledgeable about tools in general and where to find what you need. I try to buy my supplies here rather than online. I’d rather support a small business and not have to wait for shipping unless it’s way more expensive. Great local hardware store.

The only small engine maintenance shop that I will take my equipment to. A fast turnaround on repairs. And I have only purchased the best equipment there also. I have gone to other shops and purchased different equipment and I have paid the price for doing so.

Love this little hardware store with old-fashioned knowledgeable customer service. Walk in and the employees are there waiting to help you (if you need it). They will load your car too! The store is laid out really well. They sell lawn equipment, railroad ties, fix lawn equipment, and sell metal structures, garden stuff, wood stove stuff, birdhouses, fans, hearers, cleaning supplies, electric tools, hand tools, and everyday hardware. Closed Sundays.

My husband I love the store!!We bought our John Deere tractor and all our lawn equipment at Lusby Hardware. We also buy our paint, and any nails, screws, ect. The staff are always so friendly, and helpful. Definitely a five star business.

Customer service is always top notch there. Purchased a zero turn mower that was the same price as a big box store. They delivered within 3 hours and provide me great instruction on use and maintenance.

Store was super clean and everyone seemed helpful, expect for the guy selling John Deere. We have about an acre to mow, almost half of which is heavily wooded. Wanted a small/efficient JD tractor (my grandfather sold them his whole life, so I know a thing or two) He wanted us in a larger JD, which was over double the price of the one we were looking at. We wanted a JD and to support the community we just joined! So disappointed!!

Lusby motor company is a great small business run by good people. When you walk in, there's always a friendly greeting and people happy to help. The staff knows not only exactly what you're looking for, but exactly where it is and whether they have it. Don't go to a big box store if they have it here (and just so you know: they probably do).

My husband called Cindy at parts counter, had to leave a message. After several hours I called and she sarcastically told me my husband had already called and she was so busy and didn't have time to call him back. I asked her for 3 sets of deck bearings and she said I guess you don't have the serial number and now must look it up. I had the serial number, told her I needed 3 sets. After picking the order up and coming home we discovered there were only 3 pieces, not 6. She is sarcastic and down right rude at times. We have been customers for over 60 years and didn't appreciate putting up with her nastiness. This isn't the first time she was so unprofessional!

Don't ask for help at the parts counter if it's the old lady. She's a real grumpy puss and of you don't have the exact things she wants she will refuse to help you in the most cranky way possible. For regular purchases, the rest of the employees are pretty good to work with. Prices reflect the high staff they carry to help people.

Went there to order some parts for a tractor , after ordering parks I needed some installation advice and thought I'd try to discuss my issue with someone in the service dept. After speaking with wes he was able to help me determine the exact issue and helped select the correct items to repair the tractor correctly . Thanks to lusby motor company and Wes in service .

The hardware store that has a little bit of everything! If you can't find at your local hardware store, or big box retailer, I bet you Lusby Motor Co. has it. Please don't let the name fool you. This place is loaded with John Deer, to Stihl to everyday tools, paint and hardware for the Pro's and DIY types.What a gem of a store!

I like Lusby Motors: however, the one issue that I have is that I can never speak directly with a human when I call the parts department; I always have to leave a message and wait for a call back. Typically, by the time I receive the call back, I've already called several other places looking for the part that I need.
