This is an amended review. After my initial review, Heartland reached out to me to update me that the company had changed management. You do not have to purchase a freezer from them if you already have one. I will be looking at their plans again. After speaking with their representative, I feel much better about this company. Their prompt response to my concern was excellent and showed that they really care about the customer. I am looking forward to doing business with them.

I hate to give this review. Overall the food was good. The fish wasn't but that's not the reason for the postUnfortunately, this review is about an employee, Justin. I met just through Heartland Foods in early 2022. He seemed like a great guy. After meeting him, he began to talk to me about all his investments. He brought an investment to me, Kerns Capital. It sounded good. He even mentioned his father was investing. He stated his father was a financial planner before he was CEO of Heartland Foods.Unfortunately, Justin used the financial info we provided him when he came for our Heartland Foods meeting to target my family. Justin used my family to get him and his father, Jerry, managing partner roles at Kerns Capital.As a result, I lost a ton of money in a ponzi scheme. Justin is still a managing partner with Kerns Capital.Food was fine but be careful who you share your personal finances with

I believe their food is good, but I hope their delivery drivers drive better than this one who almost drove and my and bf off of the road today. Especially with me being 8 months pregnant. Please do better and drive more safer 😊

We have been happy customers for 5 years now, and remain impressed with the quality of their foods and customer service. Justin and Zach have made ordering such an easy process, and delivery is surprisingly fast as well. The food itself is so much better than anything you can find at the store - you can taste the difference! All of their meats are sourced from farms with excellent standards. I'm happy to feed my family with healthy food from Heartland!

We love Heartland Home Foods! We realized today that we have been with them for 5 years now. Consistently delicious foods that we know are safer for our family to eat. The meat is so tender and we LOVE that Justin is back taking our orders. We get meat that is organic and good for our family that is sourced from locally owned farms for about the same amount of money that we would be spending on conventional meet at the grocery store. We are coming up on 3 years with Heartland Home Foods. From the very beginning the customer service has been very good. From the initial home visit to every reorder has been very easy. Our salesman has also assisted us when we made the decision to start on the keto diet. The food is fresh and all natural and there is less waste with the portions that they have. It is nice to know that all I need to do is open the freezer and we have a choice of meals for our family.

We have been using Heartland Home Foods for almost 2 years now. We absolutely love the quality of their meats! Love the convenience of not having to shop for meats. Everything is at home in a commercial grade freezer and it takes only 15 mins to thaw. We’ve worked with Justin and Matt and would highly recommend both of them. What sold us on their chicken was the fact that it doesn’t have that “old chicken” after taste even after our leftovers have been in the fridge for a couple of days. The quality is excellent.

We have been with Heartland Home Foods for about 8 years.With the normal day-to-day stress it's hard to plan, buy, and prepare meals for a family. Having 6 months worth of food at your house makes it super easy. No need to make grocery store trips.We just finished up with our order. Our consultant Kalvin was awesome! He was very patient, as we were indecisive about what goodies to order...... Because there is so much to choose from.Everyone should be using this service. Great customer service, great food!

We started using heartland foods a little over six months ago we are about to do our first re-order and the meat is amazing and the vegetables my kids actually love all their vegetables and don’t mind eating them it’s a little on the expensive side when you very first start but it is 110% worth it especially when it comes to feeding your family healthy thank you heartland foods you definitely got 100% satisfied customers here I would recommend you guys to anyone definitely better for a family that has kids Or a bigger family because kids eat everything very quickly

Everything about our experience has been PERFECT and HIGH QUALITY! Anthony was great scheduling our at home visit and learning about our needs. I love the convenience of Heartland Foods! So fresh and lean! We love the convenience of having food ready to cook and not having to go to the store every week. We live in Pasadena, MD and have been ordering from Heartland Home Foods for two years now. Matt Wesp is our rep and is the best. He has answers for all of our questions and provides excellent service.The quality of the meats we order is the best! They are so much better than what we used to buy at the local grocery stores. Their farms are of much higher standards than anything available locally. Now our lives are easier because the food is vacuum sealed/flash frozen so meal planning/prepping is easy. We just thaw the food quickly in water and cook our meals for the week.Matt helps us plan our 6 month supply and it all gets delivered quickly and easily by their team.

Heartland is amazing. The simplicity of having 6 months of quality food always available is great. The kids even eat all the vegetables that we get! Just placed are second order. The first 6 months of products where absolutely amazing. It’s great not having to go to a grocery store and wonder where your meat comes from. With Heartland We know exactly what farm the meat is coming from. We are 100% satisfied. The customer service is amazing. We Highly recommend Heartland!!! It's like having our very own mini mart in the basement- no lines, no out of stock shelves and no masks required :) Justin made the whole ordering process a breeze and our food came within the week. The best part is that the order is custom to your family; thick cut steaks, pre-marinated chicken.....Amazing food all from the best places!!

We just ordered our second shipment of Heartland Food and are looking forward to the ease and convenience of having the highest quality, farm sources meats on the planet. The meat is easy to defrost, & tastes fantastic. I also ordered several dry goods such as paper goods and canned goods. Also ordered frozen fruit for smoothies.Air purifier long overdue for our 2 dog house and looking forward to breathing pure air free of allergens!

This is a review of the company & sales process, not of the actual service because we didn't sign up. Be very wary inviting them to come to your house for the free meal. Their sales process is a total bait and switch. The sales person was very pleasant and the food was good. At the end of the presentation, they show you the pricing for the meat and it looks fairly reasonable, with the understanding that it's a very high quality. AFTER that, they then tell you that you have to buy a $3,000 Deep Freezer from them and commit to a long contract. They give you an option to buy your own freezer but then they tell you that it will cost more to do so to buy the meat. They try to make you sign up while they are at your house and make you feel very guilty about the process. They tell you if you don't sign up then you lose all of the incentives. You can do a shorter 1 year contract and cancel but you are still stuck with the $3,000 deep freezer that is way over priced. After we declined, I sent a follow-up email to the sales rep thanking him for his time and said I would contact him in the future if I was interested and I never heard a peep back.
