I was at the self checkout on 3/14 in the afternoon. A lady was standing around wiping the area. I scanned ALL of my items. She asked a customer if she need help, which she didn't. She then walked up to me and asked "did you scan your milk?". I said yes and showed her my receipt. I asked her why she asked me that. She stated that she didn't see me. I was VERY offended because I felt like I was being profiled and she was trying to impress the other customer. I'm 77 and HAVE NEVER stolen anything. I have a food Lion in my hometown and have NEVER experienced anything like this. #1 her accent was thick and I could barely understand what she was saying. Please train your Crestwood employees to be more courteous or you'll have a big problem on your hands.

Best place to stop for fresh vegetables. Most items here are unbelievably cheap. Fruits and nuts are also very affordable compared to other places. Becoming a member takes only 2 minutes, and it's worth to stop here more often..

This place has horrible customer service. The manager sits in his room next to customer service and the employees do not assist the customers in the store. You would only receive directions for the location in the store and no one to take their time to actually show you. You will be stalked in the store in every location you proceed. They would rather stalk than assist? Prices are outlandish.

I grew up with one of these around the corner.Call me crazy but this store is nostalgic for me, even set up the same way.Love the fact that they have actual cashiers here that ring you up and bag the groceries. I'm so tired of those places with self check out only.The store is clean, organized, well managed, and stocked.Love it.

Nothing like going to the grocery store and someone reeking of weed al through checkout, then getting home and smelling weed and wondering where it's from. Then, smelling the grocery bags and the smell of weed is overpowering. Then, pulling out the groceries and they all smell like weed. Ridiculous.

This isn’t about the groceries this is about the fact that the floor was wet and I fell and not one person worker even came to aide me. Please make sure to keep it tidy and definitely make sure workers are trying to aide one that gets injured. Luckily I wasn’t to badly injured just bruised but for the safety double check everything.

not all but most of the older workers are rude and just a joke to be honest if you can’t handle being nice (which is free) get out of customer service and work a a gas station with the nasty attitude. honestly disgusting at their grown agent age.

Everyone that works here are Amazing. My only complaint is I've been in there a cpl times where I needed help from a manager & there are 2 "Head Managers" I'm not sure if they are district or general managers but they will make you wait until the "daily store manager & or supervisors" literally stop what they are doing to come help me. GTFOH with that! The managers & supervisors are amazing at this store & they will actually go out & collect all the carts themselves (like really where have u ever seen that B4, NEVER!). But my complaint is with the 2 people that I rarely see there but for some reason they are there when I need help. Maybe the Universe was putting in that situation so I would put them on blast for their ignorance. Love this store & "everyone" else in it.

I stop here occasionally to get anything but fresh meats. Still haven't bought meat there since the company was bleaching expired chicken to sell it longer. (not at a Frederick location) This made the national news when it happened 20 or so years ago but I remember it to this day.

Food Lion surprisingly had a better selection than Giant foods. I was pleasantly surprised by food lions cleanliness, organization and lighted aisles. I'm going to shop here more often.

For some reason this particular food Lion's layout is a little confusing so I usually have to go back through to get stuff I've missed. But other than that it's clean and bright. All the fresh food looks great, the bakery smells great and the employees are very nice

Great grocery store! Doesn't have the biggest selection of produce or other groceries, but the quality of their selection is great. Management keeps a watchful eye on register queue length and adapts staffing to get customers checked out faster. Quality of the baked good from the bakery is excellent, as are the deli meats and cheeses.

This particular Food Lion has outstanding customer service!!! It was my first time at that location and the phone service was fast and very professional! My experience was even better when I arrived and the store was incredibly neat, organized and very clean. I thought they were straight out of doing a tv commercial, that's how flawless this particular Food Lion of Frederick Maryland was!! Please keep up the fine work and continue to WOW every customer like myself with the awesome cleanliness and great customer services!

I have had a wonderful experience at this store. Check out is fast. It's never too crowded. Plus, Food Lion's rewards program is one of the best I've ever used. I always find what I need and because of the rewards, I've found it's cheaper than even Aldi. Their check out is always lightning quick so I never spend too much time in the store.

The staff here goes above and beyond expectations to help you out, the cashiers are all very lovely absolutely sweethearts and complete gentleman. The managers do a fantastic job of making sure everything gets done and doing what they need to do at the same time. Believe it or not with a food Lion card a lot of things their are cheaper than Walmart!!!

The store brand gallons of milk are 2.09. giants store brand is $5.09. Giants eggs are going for 4.79. Food Lion has 18 for under $2. Food Lion has fantastic meat prices and a large selection. Giant is skimpy especially when it comes to beef and their prices are literally 50-100% more than Food Lion. In fact, I have a hard time believing the news when I shop at Food Lion, not that I needed any help in that department.Food Lion is still the best grocery store in Maryland.

Food Lion has stepped up their game lately! Store is cleaner. Staff friendlier. When not busy they stand by register end and ask if ready to check out... over all experience has improved alot!Anna, I believe a front end or general manager type, is super sweet and friendly. Has helped a few times and really truely cares about the in-store experience foe people.

I grew up going to Safeway but I must admit that Food Lion has really grown on me. I am usually impressed with how fresh the produce is but I tend to focus on what is season so that reduces my chances of getting something that is sub par. I would like to see an upgrade in the seafood offerings but I usually just head to a specialty store when I am so inclined. I have only had good experiences with any of the staff and management and the cashiers in particular seem to be mature and focused on keeping the lines moving while still being friendly. The pricing is very competitive, except for maybe vs Aldi, but Aldi is a wasteland for service and selection. I believe I got out of Food Lion two weeks ago with a good month worth of groceries for about $170.00. Now that I finally gave in and signed up for the discount card I can save even more.

The staff at Food Lion on Design and Chrestwood Dr are friendly and nice. I like the way they will put cold items in a blue bag. Very helpful when you did home.
