I went to shop at this store Wednesday the first half the shelves were empty but a lot of carts with merchandise lined up the Isles. Then went back Friday 3rd shelves were still empty only difference more carts with merchandise has to be bad management

(4years ago)I shop at dollar generals a lot. I visit different ones. I usaly buy a soda and a cAndy bar or chips. This one was by far the worst. It was a messy store. There was over 15 people in line the the cashier was professional and polite and working as fast she could. She called for the manager to help her open another Lane but the manager never appeared. It was almost like she was working by herself. From the other reviews and my experience today I would say that this store had a bad management problem. I will personally not be going back to this one.(Dec.23.2021)LOL it still is the worst one I've been to. This time I took pictures.

Every other store has a .25 cent Xmas sale, in which some stores have signage up, the employee here however decided to override items without informing my wife. It’s one thing to override something, it’s another to do so without informing the customer.

Very unprofessional employees, racist, drug user manager. I've been using digital coupons since they started the program and the manager tried to tell me you couldn't use a product coupon with the store coupon. That's a lie I shop at Dollar General every week to use my digital coupons. If the store system is outdated DG needs to get it together and watch them Karen's they are hiring before they get what's coming to them.

The Hispanic cashier is very terrible, she doesn't say hello or thank you, the wasted purchases are made with very bad communication

Is this location even still open? I tried to stop in midday last Fri and it was locked up, no sign. I went again late afternoon yesterday (Wed) and locked again, no sign. Both times o saw others walk up expecting it to be open too... weird. It always was a super unorganized location but usually had what I went for and workers were nice enough.

This store was the most disgustingly dirty store I have ever been to, the floors were filthy, the shelves a disaster , empty and a mess. I came in for simple items and had to climb racks and racks of unstocked items that obviously are never unpacked. How is this ok? The service was mediocre since one cashier was eating dinner at the counter. We need our jobs, we need to show some respect for ourselves and work hard no matter where we work. This is sad.

Pretty decent place, the staff is pretty good and helpful, no problems. And they tend to have what I need when I go which is nice. Sometimes they aren't fully stocked on the things I need but for the most part they are. It's a smaller dollar general which can sometimes feel cramped. Good place to pick up essentials with decent prices.

Every time I visit this store I get followed throughout the whole store just to meet up with the stalker at the cashier. You would think he was going to help assist me with my purchases but nope. This occurs everyday.

This location is always dirty and never stocked. There is multiple carts full of unopened boxes in the aisles I'm pretty sure half the stuff I'm looking for is in those boxes. The entire staff is unfriendly! Today is the last time I visit this location I'll drive the extra miles to go to the one on East Street.

There's not enough space to accurately describe how awful the customer service is at this location... So I'll give a short synopsis.1. My then 3 year old was helping to unload our items onto the counter to be purchased. The store manager who was working the register also actually screamed at my daughter for putting the items on the right side of the counter as opposed to her preferred left hand side. The stupid is strong in this one.2. Posted hours of operation 8-10 sun-sat. Both I and my husband have on many occasions went for a quick trip only to find the store closed early. They've locked their doors as early as 9:30 before. My most recent experience involved a different store manager who came to the door at 9:50 just to throw her hands up at me like I was out of line for trying to shop 10 minutes before closing. As I reminded her of the time, she yelled 'I don't care what you say, we're closed', rolled her eyes and stormed off.3. I was once confronted and yelled at for moving one of the many stocking carts that litter the narrow aisles of the store. Carts cannot pass with out knocking items off of the shelves. I tried repositioning the stocking cart just as the nasty store manager from description #1 was walking nearby. "How about you mind your own damn business", she yelled.So... To sum all of this up... Avoid this place unless being demeaned and belittled is your cup of tea.

I was really hesitant on having a Dollar General move into our neighborhood, but I do admit I love this store. It is so convenient for things you need. My kids drink milk like there is no tomorrow and it is so easy to stop in here to get more on the way home from dropping them at school. Cereal is another thing we seem to go through a lot of. The grocery store often sells cereals for $4 a box whereas Dollar General is much cheaper. The staff always greets customers who walk in the door. They are helpful, polite and friendly. I have not had any bad experiences here at all.

Standard, no frills, low cost place. Small food area with prepackaged goods like pasta and tuna fish. Not overwhelmingly clean or tremendously friendly staff. But also nobody was rude and I didn't observe anything weird. It is no different than any other Dollar general in the country.

There are a few polite employees but for the most part, they are rude and act as if asking them a question is an inconvenience to them. A few will hold personal conversations with friends while ringing up customers and let their friends be in the way of the paying customers. There are constant lines at the register and once again, I have witnessed attitude towards a customer who asks if they could open another register. This, while the employee watched the line get longer but chose to have a personal conversation instead of helping.It is hard to navigate the store to shop when there are several carts full of merchandise blocking the aisles and shelves. On one occasion, I returned the next day and the same cart with the same merchandise was still in the aisle! I live about a mile from this location yet I have many times drove out of my way, across town to another store just to avoid this mess of a store.The only reason I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 is bc they do have great prices and there are a few 2-3 employees who have been helpful and polite every time I have seen them.

Staff was rude. Asked to use the restroom, and was looked at and treated like i dont even know WHAT??? Bizarre - prices are great, service terrible. The store is always cluttered with boxes and junk- I think its dangerous for elders or children. Go pee before you get here! Read the other reveiws- its not a good store, I shop these stores because the price is right, they really need to get a new manager.UPDATE- Made a second trip into this store and nothing has changed. This DG is a ongoing 3 ring circus. Old lady in electric chair stuck in aisle, Floor was a mess, I am walking all over the srore yelling out for ANYONE- staff, manager, cashiers, and it was like a ghost town, I could have walked off with anything, and dint rhink they would have known. This place reminds me of a yard sale run my circus clowns

I only shop here if I have absolutely no other place to go. The staff and customer service is horrendous. Nothing is ever in the right place nor is the price ever what you see on the tag. And they usually only have one register open even with a zillion people waiting to check out.

Some staff are nice, Im sure this isnt the best job, but smile and acknowledge customers. Had what I needed each time I go go there at a great price. Even had a small bottle of castor oil and tea tree oil. Fabulous

I tried to get a job here I had a good rapport with the manager until I find out she was talking about me behind my back and the things she was saying could be detrimental to me getting a job and my character in general I'm a single father who has joint custody of my son who was trying to get a job at this Dollar General and I don't appreciate a woman who doesn't know me or nothing about me talking behind my back saying defaming things about my character but smile in my face talk to my kid. I called corporate and formally complained he told me that action would be taken and to apply to the other store since then I have applied to 3 stores even had two interviews in one day one manager said she would hire me right then if she could, but other than the interviews I have not been offered a job at Dollar General and since then my applications have been reset or so I've been told by a manager at a different store even though I called and checked every day

As for Dollar General sometimes I may shop there if the prices are within my budget certain products and food items could be overly pricey at times. Also I noticed that the store within its self is too crowded and the aisles are very narrow and at the register the line of people become to long for anyone to move around to shop in those aisles. Its needs to be expanded and organize!

Woman working the register named Jeannie cussed me and my boyfriend out because we wanted an item behind the counter and she got frustrated. Only go here if you feel like getting cussed out and being around a very rude woman working there named Jeannie.

This specific Dollar General is well stocked for every day items and holiday themes. This was my savior when Valentine's Day came around for my children's class give outs.

Always stocked products that I need i.e. paper products, cleaning g supplies and medicine. Staff are always friendly and very good about opening a new register when lines are long.

Aisles always seem to be dangerously cluttered with carts/boxes of merchandise to be shelved.Clearance items did not have price stickers.Generally dirty and disorganized.

During the holidays, the store usually runs specials on unstopping clogged toilet products, which is very useful againt refrigerator raiding in-laws.
