I am leaving this review based 100% on my experience with one of the team members named Meghan. During two recent visits, she went out of her way to help me a purchase and exchange. She was friendly, personable, and displayed a genuine interest in making my visit an all around great experience. I hope management and the Corporate office take note of how well she represents your company.

Honestly this store is updated and beautiful, but the customer service is awful. I went to exchange a jacket I got as a gift. I didn’t receive the jacket for a few months after my dad bought it because we don’t live close to one another. I had the receipt but it was “expired”. I was told I couldn’t exchange the jacket because it was expired. Listen—I understand having a policy on getting refunded. Have a policy where after 90 days, it’s store credit only. But I just wanted to do an even exchange. The icing on the cake was after I was told I couldn’t make a return, the clerk told me “I could still buy the jacket”. Laughable.On top of that, I was returning shoes that were half a size too big. I didn’t even try them on when I received them as a gift because I know my size in Brooks running shoes. The cashier inspected the bottom of the running shoes and then told me she had to go get manager approval.I will be purchasing clothes directly from the retailer from now on.

Came in to upgrade my original putter from my starter set. The staff member working in the Golf department (didn't catch a name unfortunately) was very attentive, and patient providing information and feedback about the best fit putters for my playing style. The staff member was very knowledgeable about the different types of putters, weight distributions, and overall feel and responsiveness tendencies of the different putters. I tested between 8-12 different putters before finding the right one for me. Huge shout out to the Golf Staff at this location. It's great to see that some people are really passionate, and fully engaged and invested in what they do. Keep up the great work!! I will certainly return to this location in the future for future golfing needs.

Great selection of running shoes. Too bad their employees suck. Went in and found a pair of Hokas I wanted and asked the dude if they had them in my size. He said yes and they’ll be right out. 10 minutes later I car to ask, are the shoes coming out? Again he says yes, they’ll be right out and turns around like I was bugging him while he was standing there doing nothing. Eventually he wanders to the back and comes back 5 mins later and tells me they don’t have my size. 15 minutes of my life wasted. Plus the time it took to park, gas, and the general annoyance. Save yourself the trouble and go to Charm City Run and support local businesses while you’re at it.

Great experience. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Pretty wide variety of sporting goods and products. Was able get my Raven's attire for our upcoming opening Monday night game at Oakland. However, I wanted to get me a Ravens hoodie as well while I was there, since the weather will be breaking soon. However they had none. 😔 Other than that is was a pretty good shopping experience.

Excellent in all respects. My son and I were greeted within about 2 minutes of entering the store. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Selection of products is great, and we found some UA and Nike there that we didn't see in other stores. Prices are pretty much retail but because many of the items have embroidered logos rather than a cheap transfer, I think the prices are fine.

I was given a pair of dirty running shoes to buy. When I asked for a different pair, they cleaned the shoes with a strong cleaner and gave them back to me wet. Poor customer service and the assistant showed to remorse and was not apologetic

Good customer service experience. Recently purchased an elliptical and have had issues with it. Some installation problems. Amy at the store was very understanding and helped schedule a service for us promptly. Will give the last star once the problem is resolved. I had a great experience buying my daughter a bike here. Matt was very helpful with getting the perfect bike picked out and was so kind and the guy who cashed me out offered to help get it into my car without me even asking. Great customer service!!

I did two curbside pick ups that were awesome. The manager and the bike expert both were patient and so helpful trying to decide how to get my bike in my small car. They tried multiple options and I ended up doing a third curbside order of a bike rack while I was standing outside which came right out and which they helped me with as well! They really went above and beyond all while standing outside in the 95 degree heat and wearing a mask. Thank you!

Needed a paintball tank filled, as I use it for my aquarium. Called a few weeks back, machine was down. Called today and was advised that it had been fixed. I asked where it was located in the store, as I have severe lung disease and can't walk far at all. A very kind girl told me to come in and they would run it to get filled. Took 3 people to get the machine running again, but they didn't give up and helped me out. I really appreciated their willingness to help me and go the extra mile.

The staff people were very friendly and helpful. The store has everything! The prices are reasonable. My husband ordered a pair of shoes online that he took to the store to return. It was very easy to do. We've had nothing but positive experiences.

If you go during off hours when there are not very many people there shopping there are some also very few people to help you. At those times it could take you longer to get through line then during a busy shopping time. It was Christmas Eve morning the parking lot was full and I was out of there in less than 10 minutes. Doesn't always happen that way.

Good selection but staff seemed to be more concerned with their cell phones. I first tried to do a return and the casher was sitting behind the counter on her phone and she seemed annoyed that I was there. I then I went to get the right sizes item and ran across 3 different employees hiding out behind clothing racks and in narrow isles on their phones. Only one out their phone away and offered to help. What's the point of employing people if they are just going to stare at their phone.

The place is packed on a regular basis; great selection, fantastic customer service, easy access from highway, helpful, knowledgeable and practical sports enthusiasts sharing outdoor experience with peers.Even when you forget c-card at the register, the helpful staff, holds it until you return.No ask how I know 😺Thanks and good luck

Our experience in the store was great. Unfortunately the delivery people called to tell me they couldn’t deliver the treadmill on Thursday and claimed they didn’t have a schedule that it was all up to me. Since it was up to me, I told them I wanted our treadmill on Thursday. The woman told me they couldn’t do that then sheepishly admitted they had no techs in my area for a week. I told her I wanted next Friday and she wrote it down but then said she couldn’t guarantee anything. So now I have paid for a treadmill that Dick’s doesn’t want to deliver. No mention was made of waiving the delivery fee. No apology was given and the whole thing felt sketchy like we were talking about an illegal transaction. Who doesn’t have a schedule if their job is to schedule ? What happened to all their techs?

Purchased a new hunting rifle there and had a great experience. The gentleman who helped me- I think his name was Tracy, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He helped me pick out a new scope and even mounted it, and bore sighted for me. I will be making all my future firearms purchases from this guy for sure!

Called about a specific brand of ammo and was told they had it at 29.99 a box. Drove 25 minutes to go get it only to find out they had none. My time is valuable like everyone else. I found this very disappointing and believe it to be because they have staff working at the store with no knowledge of what I was looking for even though a very detailed description was given over he phone. Will be buying my ammo from some other place where they have knowledgeable people working the counter for sure.

Best customer service of any Dick’s I’ve been to. Been going here for whatever sporting good needs I’ve had, and I built a garage gym with a lot of products from this store. They have always honored price matching and military discounts. Rai runs a top notch store and has everyone that works there trained to give the best service you could ask for.
