I love this store. The prices on produce alone makes it worth the drive. It’s worth coming up once a week just to get large clamshells of berries that you would normally pay significantly more for just a pint clamshell at your local store.There is a large parking lot, the ability to purchase, gas, low cost food at the food court, a pharmacy, Costco “deals” for major purchases, optical services, travel and extensive groceries selections.The store requires a membership, which I believe is worth every penny. You can buy just about anything here.Love this location. It is clean, well stocked, lines move quickly at check out and they even have self checkout lanes. Cashiers are excellent.I highly recommend you get a membership and visit this location - you won’t be disappointed.

Came here for body lotion and to check out if any new items added. And noticed MD merch are running out of sizes, new dessert items added. There are six options of body lotions, considered as a good selection choices.However, in general, this location normally don’t have as many selections as the Columbia or Arundel Mill’s location.

This Costco is disappointing. Not time efficient. Long lines. Parking is insane with carts left everywhere. There’s a lack of employees it seems, almost NO registers are open ever, little to no one doing samples and I can never find someone to help me when I have questions etc.the line for register was all the way to the rotisserie chickens.I’m thinking of canceling my membership and opening one at BJ’s instead honestly, not worth it. I used to love this Costco, it’s gone down the drain within the last few weeks.

Extremely disappointed with this Costco. Shopping here used to be a great experience but these past few weeks checkout lines have been extremely long and the entire store has been super unorganized. The returns and customer service lines were so backed up it took over an hour to return one thing. Contemplating having my husband cancel our membership this isn’t worth it.

Getting in and out of the parking is a challenge all by itself. Once inside I bought the two things I needed and headed for checkout. With only 5 registers open there were 6 to 8 customers in each line. Yikes! Never again. I will not shop at Costco, except to buy gasoline, ever again until they create a Scan & Go app. I'll stick with Sam's Club until then.

I am not someone to complain, but I have noticed an ongoing issue within the past few weeks where my water bottles look like they have been pinched with a needle. I have been throwing them away because I am skeptical about who may have tampered with them.

Costco scanned my wife and I into the store and there were no issues but then they let us shop the entire store and fill up a shopping cart. When it came time to check out there was a mistake with our membership and they would not let us pay. We have shopped at this Costco almost every month without complaints. They had issues with our membership and did not explain the reason as of why. We had to left all of our groceries on the belt and walk away. We were very disappointed and will not return.

Costco is a great value where when you spend hundreds of dollars and feel like you saved in the process. This location is specifically can be difficult to park at if you want to get close due to how the entrance and gas station layout is.However if you enter the rear and are okay parking far enough away and leave via the rear side it is easy to come and go.

I visited this location after I was done with a meeting I had in Freddie MD. This is the worst exp6o have ever had in a Costco store. This experience upset me so much I was ready to cancel my membership. I know Costco is not what it used to be, but I have been a loyal customer even with all the many changes I have seen throughout the years. I approach the self checkout line with things in my hands. The cashier asked to see my membership. I told her when I pit the things down I will show it to you, she insisted, I asked her do you want me to reach in my bag to get my card out when I have things in my hand, she said we are supposed to see it before you get to the register. I told her she could follow me to the register, and when I free my hands, you can see my card. She kept making a scene. I said Jesus, what is wrong with you? She said yes, Jesus can hear you, I told her, "Don't you mock me or God, I walked away from her and went to an actual cashier to check out. While checking out, she told the cashier to check my membership. I told the cashier that my membership is on my citi credit card, so do you think I will give my credit to someone else just to shop in Costco. I told both of them that it was very embarrassing the way they treated me like a common criminal. I told them I don't live in Frederick, so do you think I drove from another county over an hour to shop at Costco. Does that make sense. I understand that Costco is trying to crack down on membership, but to treat your customers the way I was treated is sickening. There is nothing in Costco that I want or need that I can't get somewhere else that I will be treated that way. My friends and family teased me all the time about Costco being my favorite store, but after this experience, I will only shop at Costco out of necessity or convenience. I know I am only one person, but keep treating your customers this way, and you will find out the power numbers. There's a better way to crack down on your membership without being ruled to customers and not being selective on who you ask while other members can just walk by without being asked for their membership. This was a very horrible experience. I will be taking this matter all the way up the chain. I have never felt this way in my life. I usually just let things go, but the way that lady may me feel was horrible. I took me a week to write this review because I don't like making decisions when I'm upset, but a week later, I was still upset about the way I was treated.

My wife and I were brand new members and signed up online yesterday. We went in today to get our membership cards and there was an issue with their machine and lack of printing tape and they were unable to get us a card or print anything but told us we would be fine showing my app and driver's license.At checkout my app would not open because (as someone later explained to me) there is notoriously no connectivity in the store. Our cashier Liliana asked for my membership card. I told her what was going on from the get go and all I could provide is my license. Instead of being understanding or helpful she just got a very condescending attitude and accused me of either losing or forgetting my membership card. She told me I should have gone to the membership desk and had a temporary membership printed.Never mind that I litterally JUST told her they were unable to do exactly that and I never had a card in the first place. I really got the feeling that she was enjoying berating me for not having my membership card too much to even process the actual situation.Anyways, we eventually were able to make our purchases and leave after grabbing some food at the food court. There was enough time for me to think about our whole trip and decide that I can just keep going to Wal-Mart and expect a sub par big box store experience and not pay a $60 a year premium for it.They get a second star because I was able to go home, call customer service and get a refund for my membership.Looking at other low scoring reviews here, it looks like Frederick Costco could maybe focus more on being helpful to members instead of going out of their way to make members feel they have done something wrong for no good reason.

ITS COSTCO-- you can basically get anything there. You have to have a membership to shop at the store and gas station for fuel. But, you do not need a membership to get snacks at the food court section. I recommend to get the executive membership, it is a little more costly, but you can get a reward at the end of the year. If you shop here at least once a week it is worth it in my opinion. The pizza is fire 🔥🔥🔥 I love Costco so much.

I just had a horrible experience at Frederick MD Costco. date 03/26/2024 Person name Leah, cashier person, at check out , Came at me like immigration personal at me while i had just approached the self cashier check out. She had been with a previous customer with an issue and came at me very disrespectful. I need to see you membership , no respect to salute. I showed her my card twice, and then wanted to see it for third time. I told her no need to see my pic. She was racist and disrespectful. I hope corporate contacts me . The supervisor Ramos and the other employee were on there job role but this lady was disrespectful racist person and in my face the whole time. I told her to move away from me many times and nothing. Then this employee harrassed , looking at me while i scan. I am a person who uses my membership, under my name! Under my one credit card and have a picture of me on the card, Is not my fault if person can not see my picture or the name . Also, when is door implemetion starting? I prefer to show my card at first then be harrased! by a personal like if it the duana and their the immigration personal investigating. I asked to continue my shopping in peace and they huddle around me . it was uncomfortable and not needed. I will never come back to that store or self check out . No need to harass. If i am at the store , i have membership. Also, be equal with all customer do not pick and choice who to ask for picture or not . That is exactly what happened to me and I felt like i was in prison being looked at from this cashier. Evil eyes and all hate . I felt bullyed!! I hope people like her do not continue to work in this location,Just like other have put here. this casher acts like a detective. is unpleasant experience. Worst experience ever

He is the most rude and racist person at Frederick Costco.Me and my spouse always goes together for shopping one of goes for return (if any) and another one start shopping.At the gate I just say my spouse is in return line.However. This guy stopped me and not allowed me inside in cold weather.I told him even at check out you guys check the membership card with picture. So why it’s a big deal.Meanwhile I seen couple of customers passed without showing membership.Very bad experience.

I’m beefing with Costco. They close at 6 on weekends what? Got rid of churros the best thing there. Said they were out of cookies, they had cookies in the window and were giving them out. 45 min wait for a pizza. They had no people giving out samples.

Always best Costco to get you in and out. Saturdays are hectic but if you take patience for parking you should be OK. Inside warehouse is efficient and pleasant. Many people there for many years and they take pride in service.

I was taking visit on 9th April Tuesday, afternoon around 3:30 PM n we buy some chips n all than I was buy a whole pizza for the family, it’s been never tasted like that…..To much salted, even we can’t eat the 2nd bite n we throw all pieces of whole pizza, everything is good from Costco we know best things n all but I don’t know why so poor in food thingsNot good, it’s health related thing, they have to take care about atleast foodCustomers need Quality in all things they don’t care about quantity but must be QualityN atleast we pay for that not anything free atleast we Deserve better foodThank you

Regular customer feedback:Worth a visit with kids during end of the year/holiday season for multiple decorative and full of light mannequins.Parking is always a problem here if you visit late in the evening during weekdays or any time during weekends.No queues at the Gas station early morning. Weekend anytime and weekday evenings are always busy.This location is small sized Costco vs other Costco locations not just in Maryland but other states I have visited.Fresh produce mostly - tomatoes, bananas, avocados and more in small sizes available for small families.Stone-fire Naan’s are available in two sizes and go best for a week or two in a refrigerator.Flower section is bit pricey.Their taco chips are too hard and not great for oral cavity, you can get thinner and smooth chips from other grocery stores around.They carry brown sugar, nuts in a very suitable sizes.Their Rao Marinara are indeed worthy to try.Their live kitchen section serves food items with lot of salt, sugar and cheese, not healthy at all, they should introduce appropriate food items on the menu for better reach.Return section is helpful.Costco Tires are helpful and hardworking team, only the TPMS sensor fixes are tricky at times with them and while replacement with new tires these sensors gets affected. You have to order your new tires either online or you can go in-store and get help from one of their tech rep to ensure correct size tires for your car. Check for deals and ensure you use your Costco points/certificate.

Bought a Traeger Silverton XL Pellet Grill got a free cover, and seasoning from sale. The employees placed it on the flat bed cart , and the guy getting the carts in the parking lot helped me load it. I couldn't have asked for any better.

This is by far my Costco of choice, it is far less busy than any other in the area. They generally have what we need in stock and the lines move quickly.I did notice that they had a shortage of boxes during my last visit so that was a bummer.They have started carrying an adjustable standing desk which is pretty reasonably priced and perfect for us stay at home workers.

No parking..parking lot wasn't designed well. Takes forever to get threw the shoppers coming in and out the store . There are like 4 or 5 crossings. For gas, your gonna wait awhile. Normally very long lines but with gas prices like we have, anything to save a buck right... lots of stock. Staff is okay.

The stuff was super disrespectful and when I tried to explain to them that me and my wife have an account for our household and because my wife wasn’t with me they wouldn’t help. I walked over to the customer service desk to talk to them about my account. And the cashier when out of his way to tell me that I couldn’t take the merchandise over to the help desk. I wasn’t trying to do anything malicious but I was treated as such. We will be canceling our membership after this horrible incident that I just received today. 11/16/23

Stop being cheep, get a membership and figure it out yourself! 1.50 for a hotdog and a soda, you can't get that soda for that outside, a giant pizza for the price of a Frisbee size outside, ceasar salad with chicken for the price of a quarter ponder combo.Gas for 20 cents less a gallon at only 11 gallons a fill up, is 2.20 a tank off, the membership is $60, that's 28 thank and everything else is savings.If you can't figure it out keep spending at safeway they are happy to take your money.

Since 3 months we’ve been having terrible experiences at Costco Frederick, still don’t understand why they put a terrible lady close to the self checkout who’s acting like a detective 🕵️, very rude and aggressive. At the end as the customer we don’t fill like we are paying for a subscription and also still pay for our goods! It doesn’t fill pleasant anymore to shop at Costco Frederick! At the mean time other Costco location doesn’t behave that way!! Awful experience!!
