This place isn't what it once was. I ordered a mamoth burger a few months back. It was disappointing. Bland and tasteless. I thought to give them another chance as I was hungry for a cheese steak. We ordered 3 cheesesteak subs and an order of fries. The fries were overcooked and soggy, the cheesesteak had a sufficient amount of meat but not as flavorful as they once were. The bread was too soft . $54 for this little bit of carryout. I will never be back. The old owners knew quality, unfortunately these owners overcharge and don't deliver.

With my experience, this place is almost like a supercharged five guys. You pay a little more than most burger places, but you get better quality and taste. And with this place, that was blown out of the park. The burgers were delicious and well seasoned, and the fries were also outstanding. The grilled onions are phenomenal on a burger. Overall, this is a nice place to go if you're willing to pay a little more to get a lot more.

Cool little mom & pop burger joint (they've ave lots of other stuff as well, Ice Cream, etc) that has been here for over 30 years. Last of a dying breed. The dogs are solid. 1/4 lb goodness, and the homemade chili ain't bad at all. It's on the sweet side, kind of like a sloppy joe. Presented well, and quite tasty. The burger was made to order and very tasty. Not quite a smashburger like an old diner, it seemed like a hand formed patty. Toppings were fresh. The place itself is unique, youbplace the order and then wait outside for your name on the loudspeaker. And it is quite loud! Reccomended if you are ever in Frederick.

Delicious is I need to say about my food. I stopped while driving Lyft for dinner. I ordered 8 ounces beef burger, onions rings, ice cream cone. When I bite into my burger I thought I was in heaven. It was simply delicious! The onions rings was cooked to perfection. I saved half of my onions rings for breakfast. When I heated them in the microwave they was even more delicious then the day before.I ate on the property in the nice little picnic area. There was a wait but the line moved fast. I would absolutely stop again! I was told by another customer that you are closed after November through March. I will remember that. Thank you an outstanding experience and delicious food!

I think this is probably the oldest mom & pop burgers joint left in Frederick. They also have a great selection of ice cream too. They offer burgers you won't find anywhere else (like the Hawaiian) but the standard burgers along with hot dogs and subs are also available. Great selection of ice cream flavors as we as classic soft serve including twists. The black raspberry milkshake is highly recommended.Great decor too! You can get take out or sit outside at their picnic tables and enjoy your food.

SO good!! I visited for the first time with my husband and we each ordered a burger and some fries. The burgers were cooked to our liking and each had the right amount of toppings & sauces. The fries were hot and crispy. My husband got a chocolate milkshake as well and like it. We enjoyed their outside seating area and the whole vibe of the place. The only downfall is that there is no bathroom, so be prepared.

Beef & Buns has been on my "must visit" list for some time. Visited over the weekend and we were not disappointed. Burger, Shrimp Salad Wrap & fries were delicious! Staff was awesome. If you're in the Frederick area or just heading east or west on I70, take the time to stop by!

When it comes down to it there really isn’t anything more timeless in the American restaurant landscape than the classic burger joint. No matter what tragedies befall the food industry, these iconic locations live on. Beef n Buns n Paradise is no exception to this phenomenon. For years this mom and pop burger shop has kept the hungry mouths of Frederick well fed, but just how well does it hold up to this day? Let’s dive in and find out! One thing I love about this place right off the bat is the decor and atmosphere. It’s almost as if this place was airlifted off of a coastal town in North Carolina and dropped right into the middle of Frederick. It’s old school with its window order, outdoor seating only layout yet the colorful, tropical decor takes you away to a place far from where you stand, I love it! Beyond the fun atmosphere, it’s the food that stands out the most. I ordered their signature “Mammoth Burger” with fries along with a cotton candy milkshake. WOW! Absolutely delicious all the way down to the last bite. The burger was cooked exactly how I asked and was so tender and juicy. A great side of fries that can stand above their competitors made great company with my burger. The star of this show really just may have been the milkshake. I’d go as far to say that Beef n Buns n Paradise? Best milkshakes in all of Frederick! Staff was friendly, parking was fine, all in all a fantastic experience! In an age where burgers have shifted into experimental territory like bacon infused buns and PB&J burgers; Beef n Buns proves that sometimes all you need is a mastery of the fundamentals. We have been eating here for a few years now. And always return every season; my go to is the fried fish sandwich on a Kaiser with a side of fries and coleslaw. I believe they have the best that I have tasted. I like mine a little sweet and shredded really fine, and not too much mayo. The burgers are cooked to order; well everything is. Great place to sit and eat outside when the weather is nice. Blue Goo ice cream is a welcome treat, just small portion for the cost. Highly recommend.👍 Only complaint with them is how stingy they are with especially napkins (which are paper thin), utensils, condiments etc. Tip: bring ur own.

We went for milkshakes. Parking can be tight as it is a small lot but there is street parking. Milkshakes were yummy and there is a variety of flavors and add-ons. Take your food to go or take silt outside to enjoy on the tables. There is no inside seating. Good friendly service. Big menu so take some time to decide.

This place is such a gem. Everything about it feels retro and unassuming. I had a cheeseburger and frieals, and my wife had a cheeseburger and a butterscotch shake. The cheeseburgers were outstanding. The ingredients were simple but high quality. The beef is locally sourced. I would describe it as a semi-smashed patty. The fries tasted crisp and fresh. My wife loved the shake as well, and their soft aerve is made in-house, I believe. We are going to make a habit of coming here!

This is my second time checking Beef 'n Buns 'n Paradise because my first experience was terrible. We went on a rainy afternoon so it was really nice to have the covered area to order and wait. The little area they have to order is adorable and the sassy tropical decorations reminded me of home (Florida) so it gets two thumbs up for the atmosphere. I got a Hawg Dog and my SO got a cheeseburger and fries. He was indifferent on his burger. It wasn't anything special and it cured his hunger. The fries were crispy but the flavor was a bit off. I'm not sure what oil they fry them in but it just didn't work for us and we ended up only eating less than half of them. My dog was tasty but I felt absolutely awful for the rest of the day and I didn't even finish! If you're looking to get really full really cheap this is the place. I would come back and try their ice cream products but that's about it.

It’s an old school walk up with the menu plastered on the walls. Funny signs hanging everywhere and great service. This is a dine outside on picnic tables or in your car establishment. They have no public restroom but there is a BP Gas station right behind them that you can use. Ask for handy wipes to wash your hands. The burger platter was fantastic, plenty of fries a good half pound angus burger cooked to order. The platter gives you two sides so I picked Macaroni salad, tasted like something my grandma use to make, and fries! WORTH IT, great place for bikers local or passing through. I will be back for a second trip! Oh yeah, malted milkshakes are phenomenal!!!

The owner makes you feel like it's a burden to take your order. The order pick up system doesn't make any sense and is pretty stupid. They're pretty stingy with their condiments and they put American cheese on a steak and cheese who tf does that. Very unprofessional.

I really love this place. The friendly welcoming and staff to the quirky signs. The food is really good and the portions are satisfyingly large. They are closed for two months out of the year but don’t let that throw you. Go and visit you will love the food and friendly staff.

I love supporting local businesses, but not often on this side of town. I had a coupon sitting in my car for awhile now and had some time to stop in. I looked over their menu and wanted to grab some food for my family and finally use my coupon. To my surprise I was greeted with oh no we don’t take those anymore, that was from the old owners. Okay?? Poor customer service and there’s no expiration date. Same business name. I started to order anyway, but I’m not a fan of poor service and made an order elsewhere. The atmosphere and others getting food did look pretty good.

The soft serve ice cream at this place is excellent! It's the best in Frederick. During the summer they have weekly special ice cream flavors. The staff are always nice and helpful! Other than their ice cream, we love their chicken salad, it's the absolute best! I have only great things to say about this place, it's just a small little place that's super awesome! There is no dining inside, they have tables to sit outside, it's take out only. I highly recommend this place!! In the summer the line can be very long due to how good it is.

I'm a big steak and cheese fan and have gone as far as driving to Philadelphia simply for this sandwich and I must say Beef n Buns makes a great steak and cheese! Price is normal for good quality. I always leave a tip because we need to support our own neighborhood restaurants. The food is wonderful and I'll definitely be back!

I was craving a burger and very few places can make my satisfied once I get a craving for something. Beef n buns n paradise has done the impossible.. filled that craving with one of the tastiest burgers I have ever had and now I wish I was still hungry to have a second one. This little iconic joint has a HUGE menu of food and ice cream options. If you like cookie dough, get soft serve with added cookie dough pieces. They REALLY load you up with the cookie dough and it’s GOOD. Crab soup is yummy! So many food options. Burgers are great. Service at the window is pleasant and capable. Places to sit outside for sure, if you’re OK with cars pointed at you. Definitely a Summertime classic. They close up for winter, so get it while the gettin’s good.

I have tried this place several times now before writing this review. I want to like this place but the service is just so bad. Surly workers, lots of attitude and for no reason. I've done walk up orders and call in orders and each time it has been this way. The soft serve ice cream is so good (why I keep coming back) but I think tonight was it for me. $80 for my family of 4, charged for food that I didn't order (they don't read the order back) and a surly person to hand me my food, annoyed that I had to remind her to get our ice cream. It's a no for me.
