This store needs an overnight stocking crew because it’s no way ever should it look the way it looks every time I walk in there. I don’t know if they are behind on stocking merchandise. I’m sure it’s busy however I’ve seen busier yet cleaner stores. One of the employees I heard speaking with a customer I’m sure he knew personally spoke on how it may be own by lighter colored people that may not like to keep the store organized due to African Americans mainly shopping there. I felt the comment was very unprofessional. And even if the employee felt that way it shouldn’t be spoken about like that while you’re at work around other customers who may become offended by such comment. I personally feel it’s about the planning of the store set up and the speed of service. Employees aren’t moving with a sense of urgency. Of course you don’t want to burn out but you do want to make the store look good because it’s a representation on you and your work ethics. I also don’t like how it can be a line full of people but because they have so much work to do around the store the guests in the store whom are trying to shop and go have to wait in long lines just to get what they need and go. I only come here because it’s close to my job and due to where I work constant visits allow me to come here. But after my last visit I don’t know how frequent it will be anymore. I don’t like going into places that are a mess to shop.

This particular store is almost ALWAYS moving slow at checkout. There is often one register open with one long line of people trying to checkout. You can never expect to "run in and out" without standing in a long line. I took a picture today and did this review because this is ridiculously the case each time I visit this store. Some of the aisles are also messy which I have seen in some other locations (Eastover, etc.). The only reason I gave three stars today instead of one is because a second line was finally opened to relieve the aisle-long line of customers waiting to checkout. They also had a working public restroom.

I was rudely dismissed by an employee while I was trying to browse the candy section. I had to shift myself to avoid getting rammed by her cart as she was stocking the shelves. It's part of the job. be patient, until I, a customer is done browsing!Even the manager could care less! She was also dismissive. The only one who cared and apologized for their unprofessional behavior was the cashier who summoned her.Don't shop here. Unless you want to be treated like garbage.

This store has done a 360 from the last time I been in here. They have clean, organized and upped the customer service. I deff glad to see the change ! Keep it up dollar tree.

I frequent this particular location to re-up on my children's snacks, and purchase some of my personal care products that they carry for way less than other retailers. The store is usually well stocked and the employees are friendly. My only issue is how long the lines usually are....but for the discounted prices I don't mind waiting. Just bring your patience.

Nice store however the management seems to always be cutting cost. There is never enough staff in there to cash, stack the shelves, keep the place tidy and manage the crowds. Sometimes there are only two persons on site running the store and they are overworked but trying their best.Seems to be the norm now at all of the dollar stores. So be prepared to stand in a long line to have your items cashed.Management if you even pay attention to reviews please make some positive changes.....so you can get a better rating....that is if you care

This dollar tree was well stocked. The cashiers were very nice and personable. I went in for party supplies, and was able to get in and out in a timely manner. The store could use some staff to restock displaced items and organize shelves.

On 12/ 4 /21 Cassandra decided that she didn't want to come out and help the young man that was the only cashier at the Dollar Tree as management she should've help get the line down ! I just don't understand this type of behavior! It's disappointing that this lady decides that the customer is not worth her time. I have been shopping here for years, and never had such terrible customer service experience.I would hate to have to drive to Oxon Hill or Alexandria va 😫 because I live in this community and rather spend my money here VS across town.Please We don't need this type of behavior around here .Stay at whatever store you came from! I just left the dollar store and there was a black employee with dreads he had tattoos on his neck the first thing he said to me was I see that you’re spiritual but you should’ve done that I said I should’ve done what he said got ur body done even though I’m a grown woman I’ve gotten had my body done 10+ years I’ve only been in the dollar store three times It was very rude and unprofessional not only seeing him view and check out my body then to tell me what I should’ve done with my body while he’s listening to church music while he’s cursing while ringing me out what a false prophet basically he was referring to God wouldn’t like the fact that I had my body done and I guess he didn’t like it either very unprofessional I won’t be back to that store I don’t feel comfortable I just can’t believe experience how a man can talk down on you but you’re working at the dollar 25 store and I’m headed to my 4 acre property that I just purchased honestly I’m laughing while I’m writing this it’s not the fact that he works at the dollar 25 store is the fact that you have the nerve to be talking down on others working at the dollar 25 store I just can’t wrap my head around it

Horrible experience a lady that was petite with purple and black braids was very rude ! Had a unpleasant attitude since the moment I walked in . Her customer service was one of the worst I ever experienced. She had an attitude about every little thing! Slamming stuff and handing things too me very rude and rough . I will never shop here again. She brings very bad looks and business on this company and store!

Poor customer service by Sheila. Store was not busy so there was no one in line at the time. I approached the register & said "excuse me, may I ask you a question". She said yes with her head turned & took her time turning around. I asked her for what I was looking for, holding up a similar item & explaining. She barely looked, didn't seem to listen &her answer was "what we got up there is all we got" . She was the only employee I saw to ask, unfortunately.

I visited today and there was one person operating the register while the line continued to build. I inquired of a worker about the process for purchasing balloons and she would not look at me to respond nor did she care to assist me. I felt put off and very displeased with the customer service she provided. The older lady operating the cash register was very pleasant and helpful, although it was challenging to blow up my balloons while tending to customers at the register. I hope I don't have to visit again.

Very poor customer service. Employees are not on the same page - conflicting instructions. Stressed employee yelled at me for asking for something that she said she couldn’t do because she couldn’t leave the register because lines were long after I was told by another employee to ask her for help.What’s the point in asking for help if help won’t be provided? ...and why make a staffing issue a customer’s problem? Moreover, yelling should never be a response to a customer. Especially, when I wasn’t yelling at her. I hope this issue is taken seriously, addressed, and corrected by management.

Messy, boxes everywhere, barely stocked. RUDE cashiers! Told the cashier I didn't want a bag for some bigger bowls, she told me "put them back on thr counter, I'll put them in a bag" I said again "I don't want a bag for them" her "put them back on thr counter now" ... end of transaction her, "is that it". Me "yes" card is in machine to pay.... her "I asked you if that is it" me "yes I'm trying to pay, it says wait for cashier" her "you don't need an attitude, some people I should just not help"

Although most dollar stores do not offer first rate items, but there's often a whole lot of items on display. This 'dollar tree' didn't have much to shop from. Besides, on the day I visited, only one cashier, out of 4 cash points, attended to customers. I wasn't impressed.

It wasn't organized, the shelves were empty and needed to be restocked. There were items ALL over the floor. This was an early morning run... Not a late evening run to the Dollar Tree where certain things are expected if it's busy.

I really like this dollar tree. There are always a lot of great products for super cheap however they're always under staffed so you can count on their being a line when it's time to check out. Employees are awesome though, extremely professional!

I walked out. Only one person working the register. I know it's Xmas Eve but it doesn't make any sense to have ppl all down the isles to check out. Do better

The Dollar Tree is a family friendly place you can make quick stops for last minute things you may need and not have to spend a lot of money. It's perfect right in a good location. Can't get it any better.

The place is a mess. It looks like a junk yard. Shelves are untidy, boxes on the floor in most isles. Out of stock for many items and a large liquid spill on the floor in front of the refrigerator section. No safety barriers, just there for people to slip and fall. Ironically I was there a couple of days ago and the place literally looked exactly the same (except for the spill). No change in 2 days.

Management is horrible I rather go across town to another Dollar Tree than this one ..Sheila is mean and evil and the one with the braids is rude as I don’t what ..she lucky I’m a changed woman

This is usually a clean and well stocked Dollar Tree. It also sells frozen and refrigerated food some name brands like Welch's popsicles and snickers ice cream bars. They always sell out of holiday items like Valentine's Day items quickly. Nice selection of party items too.

This store is in need of staff, cashiers and stocking. They are losing money, because of staffing. They have boxes stacked in the back due to lack of stocking clerks. It maybe a transportation issue because of location. They need help. Maybe a increase in pay would help.

What would have been a 5 minute stay turned into 30 minutes due to an extremely long check out line that extended way up the aisle. Only one cashier was open. Not good at all!

The store itself is nice and big but they don't have enough shopping carts for the customers and only one employee was on the register while the other was on the floor unpacking the items.And the one on the floor wasn't very friendly. They do have good items.

Needed more workers. Holiday, busy. Crowded unnecessarily. Should have had one person on balloons and another helping customers find items with 2 people on the registers.
