It's a good cvs. Already begun setting up for valentine's day. There are 2 self check out machines. One of them takes cash as well as credit and debit. The other is only credit or debit. The store is organized neatly.

Listen, this is a busy pharmacy given their location. I have never had a rude encounter or bad experience with any of the pharmacist. They are just busy and it gets tiring, so I applaud them for doing their job and doing it well. More than likely the reason that they are not answering their phone is because they have a very long line and they’re trying their best to help the patients waiting in line to get their medication’s.I’ve had encounters where I had wait not more than five minutes & I’ve had encounters where I had to wait more than 45 minutes and each of those times the service was still great. I really appreciate the older gentleman Kenneth he’s always pleasant always very helpful and treat his employees great from what I can tell. Speaking as someone who also works in the health industry, you have to give these people grace and you have to have patience.They really are trying their best with what they’ve got.Thanks guys

It's ALWAYS packed but the pharmacy staff keeps things moving. They're friendly and knowledgeable and I've never had an issue. Got both vaccines in fall of '23 and the pharmacist was great - I didn't feel a thing.

I have been using this pharmacy to purchase medicine for over 20 years. The pharmacists have provided me excellent advice regarding my prescribed medicines as well as over- the- counter medicines. I use this CVS to get my various vaccines. I shop at this CVS for household and beauty item too. The manager and staff are also very friendly and helpful.

This is bad service i get all time. Special pharmacy. They don't care about service. No one pick up phone call. Inside store line long. Please don't come her or you may waste time.

I went there at 8:10 am and was close is the second time I go there and always is close they need to update the store hours because they never open at 8:00 am maybe they open at 9:00 am or 8:30 am I guess so if you planing to go at 8:00 am be prepared to wait till they open 🙄

Relocated to this area, after driving around checking 4 other locations looking for medications in stock finally find out it’s in stock & the pharmacist refuses to fill it because He is new & the tech insisted I had to run my insurance which doesn’t cover my med. Definitely will not continue with this location being my new home location.

This pharmacy is terrible. They never answer and are always backed up. It’s inconvenienced me many of times. Especially in critical situations when in need of my meds.

Joe and Kai were SO HELPFUL. We lost our coupons and they helped us find them and show us how to use the coupon machine. They were very patient and willing to help. That’s so hard to find now-a-days. Thank yous. I genuinely appreciate y’all.

Worst pharmacy ever, they consistently not have the prescription drugs ready until 2-4 days after the doctor put in order. People can die from using this pharmacy, my toddler daughter the antibiotic didn’t get ready until 4 days after she needed it. Unacceptable!

The worst pharmacy i have ever been to. They don’t answer the phone, everytime i go in I’m in line for 30 minutes minimum. I have had my prescription's yelled out as well. It’s like they know they are completely awful and don’t even bother to try and be better. Last time i was in there an employee was arguing with a customer and had to be removed. It’s very disappointing and stressful given people’s lives rely on prescriptions and they make it the the most dreadful experience. Avoid this place if you can.

The pharmacy here is stunningly inefficient and incompetently run. The lines are long. The pharmacy doesn’t know how to process insurance. I waited over an hour while she tried to process my insurance. She still couldn’t figure it out, so I plaid full price just so I could leave because my child was tired and hungry. This store are pharmacy are the pinnacle of everything wrong with this area.

I’ve been coming to this pharmacy for over a year. Sometimes I have a good experience, most of the time I don’t. The main pharmacist here is wonderful but this place is just way too busy. The lines are always so long and they always only have 1 person helping customers. This will be my last time here.

This has to be the worse pharmacy in the area. Sometimes they lines inside/outside are entirely too long. There’s times they don’t have your medicine in stock and they give you attitude if you ask them when will it be in stock. The customer service from some of them is very unprofessional at times and not to mention 1/2 the time the drive thru is closed or the store is closing early because they’re understaffed. I will be transferring my prescriptions to a different CVS.

UPDATE: I called the pharmacy, was on hold for 20 mins, tech tells me they'll be right with me then proceeds to hang up on me. 😡I called back and I've been on hold for another 20mins. I just want to know if my prescriptions is available because my doc sent it 2 days ago!! Ugh, I see the staff hasn't improved! It's a shame that we have to deal with such customer service. Calling corporate!Front Desk staff is amazing... Unfortunately they are over-shadowed by the staff in the pharmacy who all have to GO! Please clean up your pharmacy staff! They speak to you like you're bothering them... Look lady, I just need my BCP and I'm out. Lol Recently learned that if I wait an extra day or two, they can deliver.... Yup that's what I'll do from now on.

This has GOT to be the WORSE CVS I’ve EVER dealt with! I called early afternoon to their pharmacy on 10/11/22 to have a prescription from the Virginia Beach Walgreens due to me being in Richmond at a meeting. Gave all my information to to them. Told them I wouldn’t need it until the next day, 10/12/22 when I drove to my son’s house in Accokeek. I stopped by the store at 4:30 pm only to be told that my prescription was not ready and that I’d have to come back tomorrow, 10/13/22! This is ridiculous. After voicing my opinion, I was told that there were only 2 people working in the pharmacy… I said, and that’s my problem because….not my problem, it’s your problem! I will NEVER deal with them again!

You can never get the pharmacy on the phone, and when you do your just put on hold and forgotten….the wait is always extremely long, service is just all-around horrible here…you can tell the pharmacy workers could care less about the customers. This CVS is a huge disappointment to the community.

WORST CVS IN THE AREA. Pharmacy is always behind on prescriptions and drive thru wait times are outrageous.I sat in the drive through 25 minutes to pull-up and the rep tells me I have to come inside because the drive thru is now closed. - there were 6 other people in line.Just ridiculous, no matter the day or time

Tonight will be my last night using this CVS. I will go to Virginia for all of my pharmaceutical needs. The Pharmacist and Pharmacist Tech are overworked. The other staff members struggle with basics. My recommendation, especially if you really need your meds, DO NOT GO TO THIS CVS!!!! For the record, I have been going to this CVS off and on for years and it’s the same results! Please get the Pharmacist some competent help!!!!

Convinient pharmacy location but haven't had the best experience with the staff when getting prescriptions filled. Either the automated sys says is ready for pickup but when I go there's nothing there, or they can't find me in the computer, or there's a line at odd times. Customer service is another problem since my interactions have been with staff that make you feel like you are a inconvenience when that's literally the job. I stopped using the location unless I'm desperate.

I used this cvs to receive my vaccine . The staff was awesome and the Pharmacist Kenneth was a very kind person. Although I was extremely nervous about getting shot, he made sure that I felt comfortable and was so gentle that I barely felt it at all. I will always use this cvs , the staff is professional and it’s always clean !!

This is some of the worse pharmaceutical customer service I’ve ever experienced at any pharmacy. The women in this pharmacy is so matter of fact, quite frank and very snappy and rude and it is totally unacceptable, if you could choose another pharmacy you will have a better experience in life. (2022) This is my experience monthly for two years. No more chances!

WOW.... I didn't realize how unorganized and unprofessional a pharmacy could be until I visited this one. The other comments are true. Not only was every person I interacted with rude and dismissive, they somehow made it seem like I was the one who was wrong. Today was my second time going here and the same this happened last time.During the drop-off process, the attendant all but refused to verify my insurance information. She never made eye contact and told me to come back in an hour and half (at 11:30 am) when I tried handing her my card. Then I receive a text message saying I need to call and confirm my insurance, but the rude, unenthusiastic, mumbling person on the other end refused to take my information via telephone, instead just repeating to me that I need to bring my card. When I asked if my prescriptions were ready, she told me they would be ready at 1:00 pm. When I pressed her about the discrepancy in pick-up times, she somehow thought that an hour and a half after 10:00 am was actually 1:00 pm (who's counting my dosage???).When I informed her that was not what I was originally told, she quickly replied, they're ready now, you can come now". Sooooo, Less than a few seconds ago they wouldn't be ready until 1:00 pm and now they are ready at 11:15 am??? Either someone is playing with my time or CVS hires their Pharmacy techs from Hogwarts School of Magic.When I arrived I had to basically force the woman at the counter to take my insurance card (they had already billed the sale as cash without insurance). When I asked why the person on the phone dismissed me when trying to give her my insurance info, I was told that "people give us wrong information over the phone but we know the cards better when we see them"... My insurance card is clearly labeled and I have higher than a grade-school education.. I'm sure we could have figured that one out via phone.Instead I am told to sit and wait for another 15 minutes while they check my insurance information...The exact thing was trying to avoid when I tried to confirm the information over the phone. All of this could have been done at the drop-off counter. I was one of 2 people in line as the gates were opening at 10:00 am on a Sunday... but I guess the extra minute it would have take to do their job properly was far more valuable than my time. I will likely avoid this pharmacy in the future and I recommend you do the same.Customers ask questions and want straight answers and I don't appreciate service people don't value my time. I could understand if this place was packed, but I was literally there when they opened and was one of a couple of people at the pharmacy .

CVS Pharmacy on 11906 Livingston road fort washington MD 20744. Over 20 min hold times and multiple calls to even get your call answered by the pharmacy.. Terrible and I mean terrible customer service. They ran my meds/prescription incorrectly w my insurance. Then had me call around to fix the prescription saying it had to read "name brand only" and after all was fixed with the prescription (2 hours later of my efforts) decided to pick that moment to admit that they didnt EVEN have the meds in stock.I have never dealt with a pharmacy so inconsiderate, unhelpful, and so shockingly terrible with their customer service. Needless to say I wont be returning and all I can say about using their pharmacy is... you have been warned!

I been dealing with them for 4 years. So far, they been reliable and courteous. I had two minor issue two years ago. However, another pharmacy employee quickly resolved the issue the next day. I use the pharmacy in conjunction with their phone application. Thus, the communication between the pharmacy and me seems to be heighten.

This pharmacy in this specific location is ALWAYS in chaos.EVERY SINGLE TIME we pick up medications, they would tell us what time to comeback, only to tell us it ain't ready yet, and we would come back and still not ready..so what's the point of telling us time?.people working In this location seems to always have attitudes, unhappy and very disorganized..

I will do my best, not to return again. This morning 5/1/18 my Uncle and I visited this store because it's conveniently close to our work place. The reason for our visit was to print photographs from our phones. We went straight to the computer to print photos and the monitor was black, I was hoping the computer was asleep. We sat there for no more than 5 minutes, and looked directly at the two cashiers, male and female, for a response. I asked once, we received no eye contact and no answer. I asked again, "Excuse ma'am, do these two computers work?" She said, "No" and returned to position of looking straight ahead (the cashiers had no customers in front of them). Very strange, not to have a sign on the computer, and very strange that we had to ask them more than once. I've only visited this location twice for prescriptions. I think I'll visit another location, close to home with better customer service.

Still in total shock!!!. Arrived at CVS drive through to be told my prescription was not filled. I'm trying to explain to young lady that I had my notification from CVS. Her voice elevated and I asked her to lower her tone and to whom was she speaking to? Her response was. YOU! I told her to please not speak to me like that and I had children older than her and she looked at me and asked me was she supposed to get scared? I then asked for the supervisor who never came. Well I have chosen Express Scripts. I took my service elsewhere. Disrespectful CVS on swann creek Rd. Fort Washington MD. My Youngest daughter is a 2nd degree Black Belt! Sometimes you just walk away!!! SMH, NOT WORTH IT.
