This location of CVS is absolutely amazing. They are very efficient and quick with checking people out and making medications. I highly recommend this location to anyone in Harford County! Today, Meredith in the pharmacy made my infants flu medication promptly without me asking. She was very compassionate and kind without hesitation. The pharmacists there are always very helpful and friendly and even help at the drive thru.

This place has no sense of urgency whatsoever. My dr wrote my rx for a specific manufacturer. When I picked up my medicine 3 days later it was the wrong kind and then told me the kind I needed was on back order. It should've never been filled wrong in the first place. They have all my info but didn't contact me about it at all and now I don't have the medicine I need. Plus they don't answer the phone now, you have to leave a voicemail and just hope you get a call back or your request fulfilled. My advice would be to just go up there in person. Even better, transfer to a different pharmacy.

I recommend staying far away from this pharmacy. I have actually filed a formal complaint with the Maryland board of Pharmacy. It is dangerous the way they conduct themselves and their business. I was blown away with how incompetent the entire staff is and how lightly they take the huge responsibility of handling people’s medication. I am not kidding when I say it is scary, something truly needs to be done.

My girlfriend has been followed around store multiple times when simply just browsing for whatever she was shopping for. I myself have experienced a very shrewd elderly lady who works behind the front counter talks in a condescending way towards customers. We all together just stopped going there.

Would not recommend going here. It’s almost impossible to speak to a representative directly and when they do, they have terrible people skills. When trying to have scripts transferred from them to another pharmacy, they left the other pharmacy on hold and never faxed the scripts.

If I could give 0 stars for the pharmacy, I would. I had many issues filling prescriptions and could never get ahold of a staff member to resolve. I left a few voicemails with no calls back. I ended up requesting to transfer everything to a different pharmacy. CVS marked them all as transferred, but they never made it to the requested pharmacy, CVS could not tell me or the new pharmacy where the information went, and could not resend.I’m now left with unfilled maintenance prescriptions requiring me to contact my doctor and/or make a new doctor’s appointment to get them filled at the new pharmacy. Complete incompetence.

I would give Zero stars if I could! Pharmacy staff is so rude!! Arrived to pick up a prescription, was told in the drive thru they need 10 more minutes, no problem, but was asked to pull through the line as to not hold up other customers. No problem again, I did ask they asked and pulled in again after 10 minutes and a car in front of me was allowed to sit there for 20 minutes to wait for their prescription. I couldn’t leave the drive thru line because of the car in front of me and another behind me. The car in front finally received their bag at 1:28 and as I pulled up, the pharmacy staff shuts the gate in my face and says they are closed for lunch at 1:30! I go inside, explained the situation while 3 pharmacy staff are still working behind the counter and not on lunch break. They say registers are “shut down” and can’t help me. I had to ask for a manager to get involved who accessed the same registers I was told were “shut down”. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this location. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! The CVS in Fallston is hands down a million times better!

God awful!! Prepare to wait for an hour to pick up prescriptions, have them be out of stock and close the gate in your face because it’s their lunch time. I would give it negative stars if I could I’ve wasted so much of my life waiting in line and chasing their stupidity. My advice is to stay far, very far, away.Update 2/15: No improvement. Still God-awful. Dr. sent prescription twice and showed me that it was sent to the correct place and the time sent both times. They said they didn’t receive it and told me to go pick up a hard copy. For the love of God, please shut this atrocious business down.

I made an appointment to get a flu shot for Saturday at 12:00. I received several text messages confirming my appointment and text messages reminding me of my appointment. On Saturday, another text message telling me to "check-in" on their website, using the link on their text message, acknowledging that I have arrived at the store. After "checking-in" using their app, I wait in the store at the "vaccination station". After waiting 10 minutes, I go to the pharmacy counter and inquire regarding my 12:00. The clerk says "he'll look into it"?? It's an appointment for a simple flu shot. Does your store even use your own appointment app? "Wait at the vaccination station. Someone will be there soon." Five minutes later a person walks out and says "we are unable to give you a flu shot today." Idiots. What a complete waste of time. Then I get another text message asking me to make a new appointment. Really? I'm finished with CVS. Rite-aid across the street from now on!

I have to say I have had similar situations as others have had with this pharmacy, but the last few months I feel like they are making a concerted effort to be more understanding and much much more helpful to their customers…several employees and the pharmacist also have gone above and beyond to assist me with issues with my insurance company…thankfully I have a new one now but regardless they seem to me to be headed in the right direction! I also believe honestly that if you present like a jerk then you deserve to be treated like a jerk…let’s all just take a breath before we freak out about things…

I was in CVS , Rock Spring rd on Oct. 3, around 3p. I was buying sodas and a candy bar, my cashierMai pointed out that the sodas were buy two get one free. As I continued to check out she noticed my CVS receipt from the pharmacy and asked if I any usable coupons, she proceeded to help me save 2.00 on my sodas.Mai was a light on an otherwise dreary day. The customer service is unacceptable.I went to pick up a prescription and arrived at 1:29 pm. I stood there for 30 to 40 seconds and employees just looked at me. One of the employees who always has a frown on her face went over and started to shut the window as the pharmacist told me they are at lunch from 130 to 2. This CVS does not have customer service at all. If I could give it a negative number there would not be a big enough number for it.

Customer service is a -10. We went to pickup a prescription that was called in from a surgeon, RX was not ready and the main concern of the employee was taking his lunch break. Then had to have the Dr call CVS only to have to pick the RX up after the infamous “Lunch” break . Definitely that last time I use this pathetic pharmacy

applied for a job. waited and waited and waited and waited...NO RESPONSE. i called and emailed...NO RESPONSE. Not a way to run a business. if you post an ad and someone takes the time to respond...you should be held to the same standard as well. i've been to this location a few times as a customer. if this is how a person is ignored before hiring, then i can only imagine how people feel that already work there. i am taking my business right across the street to RITE AID.

I can't understand why the employees are so unprofessional. Really poopy attitudes. Like children who have had their XBOX taken away. Two young men and one female pharmacist are polite, always, but the rest need training in compassion. Why would CVS allow this? Easy to solved issues go unresolved. Unfortunately, my company has an insurer contracted with CVS or I would shop the Walgreen's pharmacy. Walgreen's Pharmacy is very professional.

I don't care if my prescriptions take 36 hours to fill, but your NOT gonna lie to me everyday. It will be tomorrow, or 15 more minutes, or they will be ready at ......Horrible service, never awnser the calls, employees are miserable looking and acting.Called this morning at 9:30. It will be ready by 11. Here at 11:17, be ready in 15 minutes,cause it's a narcotic and it's in the safe. 11:39, I'm sorry it's only 1/2 done, the pharmacist has to give a few flu shots out first. It will be another 15 minutes. This happens once a month. Done with this CVS

I have been using cvs on Rock Spring Road for 10 years. Do you think you could announce to customers shopping In your store that the pharmacy is closing for lunch. I was behind 1 customer- only 1, no one was behind me. You turned me away. After I got a text that my prescription was ready. Thanks a lot! I live 13 miles away.

This is the worse pharmacy I have ever used. I switched to them because I live close, but picking up a prescription is an awful experience. If you go through the drive-thru, and there's two cars in front of you, be prepared to be sitting there for over 30 minutes before it's your turn. And don't get me started on when you use the website to fill an Rx. Go online, after 5 days get to notification, call the pharmacy, and get told that they got the order, but just haven't had time to fill it yet.

Absolute trash pharmacy. They NEVER answer their phones. Have been on hold for longer than 30 minutes. DO YOUR JOBS AND ANSWER THE PHONE! Understaffing is no excuse when I’ve waited 30+ minutes and have waited 10+ minutes multiple times only to hang up and drive there.Today my mother needed her Covid medicine and she sat on hold for 15 mins and no one picked up. She hung up. This problem has only gotten worse. Atrocious customer service. We will be switching pharmacies if this problem is not resolved immediately (since it has gone on for MONTHS now).

I don’t think I have ever had a good experience at this pharmacy. But my experience this week makes me never want to go back there. I have the flu and was told for the past 3 days in a row that they were out of the TamiFlu medication, but they would order it for me. And each day when I called to see if my prescription was ready for me, they would tell me the same thing I was told on the previous day - that they would have to order it. THREE days in a row, while I was very sick, they told me they would order my medication and have it for me the next day, but never followed through. I ended up never getting my medication because the shipment won’t be in until next week. To say I am absolutely outraged would be an understatement. If you don’t have to use this pharmacy, DON’T!

I can't possibly give this pharmacy a single star. The staff are the most incompetent people in the industry. My partner and I moved close by and transferred all of our rx to them from another cvs. Seamless, one would think. No. Since July 2022 we have never filled an rx without an issue. Andrew blames the automation (which is only as stupid as the person using it). They sent me to CVS specialty which my insurance doesn't even cover--all so they didn't have to order it to have it at the store. After months of this drama, I spoke to Melanie the pharm mgr on Friday Jan 13 after they attempted for a second time to use insurance I don't use for my rx after I spent 45 minutes there five days prior correcting that. They partially filled an rx and told me they ordered it two times and it hadn't been ordered yet. Finally today I told them not to fill it as I was done with them...all while the mgr Melanie that I spoke with two days ago about the issue stood in the back by the computer and ignored the problem.Regional manager number is 1-800-SHOP CVS name is Dalla. I will be calling this week as well as making a complaint up the ladder to corporate and regulatory agencies.

I'm giving a 1 star rating because of the Pharmacy. I know, it shouldn't be that way but this is the only reason I go to CVS. If that fails, then the store fails.In Harford County, Forest Hill, Maryland, apparently all the pharmacies shut down for lunch. Ok, I like to eat too. However, if you are scheduled for any type of medical procedure (major oral surgery in my case) that requires legitimate pain medications, tell your doctor he has to be finished before that "lunch break", or after, otherwise you're SOL. Out of curiosity and because I needed the pain meds, I tried across the street. There the clerk behind the 'store' register told me "well. they need to eat. It has been like this since the first of the year or something." Lame excuses seems to be the norm these days. Whatever.I bet someone will counter this with "there has to be a registered pharmacist behind the counter even for the other workers to dispense the completed orders'. Again, Lame. I have seen the pharmacist preoccupied helping customers on the floor, which is not behind the counter.So here I sit, angry and in pain. On top of it, no prescriptions. I will have to suffer until I can make up the time from work that I missed today, including my lunch, to drive back into town to get them filled. Definitely angry about that.Time to find another pharmacy I suppose. Of course, they don't care, there is always going be a need for pharmacists. Maybe we'll get lucky and they will automate this one. [fingers crossed]

If I could give zero stars I would. This pharmacy is literally always out of normal prescriptions, takes a good 2-3 days to fill it, then decides to close on their own terms two hours earlier than what is listed on the website. Not to mention the people who work back there act more than miserable every time we go in there. I’ve continued going there simply because it’s close to my home but obviously it doesn’t do us any good anyway.

I called CVS 30 minutes ago and still no one has answered. They never help the patient. My medication says it's ordered and does not come in. I asked if it was on backorder or when would it come in. They tell me when it comes in after 3 days then they will look. I am not sure how they are in business. I get better service at CVS at Target. They are so helpful.I hate CVS and wish I was not made by insurance to come here. I rather use an independent pharmacy

The absolute worst pharmacy around!!! They leave you sit in a 45 minute wait line with only two people that were taken care of and served and then they pull down the shade and there you sit because they’re on lunch can you imagine going through a grocery store line and halfway through after you’ve wait in the line they just say sorry we’re going to lunch the poorest service ever. If you can’t handle the line, hire more people it shouldn’t be everybody else’s problem and we got to sit and wait in the line for an hour for you only to get two people done. !!!!! and yes, I knew what their lunchtime is and got their 45 minutes ahead. They went so slow on purpose just to deal with two people so they could shut down the line and they wouldn’t have to deal with the rest. Absolutely ridiculous I am livid.

They almost never auto fill my rx . Today is day 3 without my blood pressure meds . I called about an rx they said it would be fine in about a half hour . I waited for 30 mins in line to find out they’ve never had the rx and it had to be ordered . My insurance makes me go there or I wouldn’t . I feel sorry for the kids working there … job from hell .

They were constantly running out of my medication. They told me I would have to find another pharmacy that carries it myself, or drive to another CVS to get it. They wouldn't even go to the trouble of looking for another supplier or having the medication brought to their store from another. Awful customer service, and unacceptable. A pharmacy should not constantly run out of any medication. I switched to Rite Aid and have had no problems.
