Prior to moving cross-country, I was researching where I would source feeders from. However, I first came in looking for a terrarium as my reptile's home wouldn't arrive on time. Although I didn't find what I was looking for, Barbara was very helpful and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't want or need. There are a variety of animals, including rodents, in the shop, so there is a minor smell but nothing out of the ordinary for this kind of environment, and nothing that made me think twice about getting feeders. Other places in the area didn't have the type of enclosure I wanted, and Barbara and Terry went out of their way to help me and my noodle baby out. I boarded her for a little over a week and picked her up today. She was in good spirits despite a little stuck shed on her face. I think it's safe to say that I was more sensitive to her being away from home than she was 😂 I'm really grateful to the folks here who made a stressful situation manageable.

The animals were very impressive. The staff was very friendly, prices are awesome. I ordered 1,000 crickets for my 2 beardies & I received them, all alive. Other places I've gotten crickets from, I end up getting at least half of them dead. The store smelled like reptiles, but that's to be expected. My son was so impressed with the amazing snakes & the huge iguana is absolutely gorgeous! I'm so glad my friend referred me to this place! It's a bit of a drive but it's worth it b/c what I paid for 1,000 crickets is what I was paying for 400 at petsmart. I'm very happy with my experience at Wet Pet & Reptile Center.

The ethics of how they keep and breed their animals is very questionable. I would recommend going to any other breeder than this place! Went to return a snake that was sold to us sick and with neurological issues and the shop owner was nothing but disrespectful. We were told on the day of purchase we couldn't handle any of the snakes so we trusted the managers word on the snakes behavior and health. The owner tried blaming us at first, then blamed his manager that sold us the snake. He was swearing and said that nobody ever listens to him. Between my husband and I, we have 9+ years experience with snakes and various reptiles and I can safely say this place is breeding snakes that have pretty colors and not health checking any of their animals. All the animals in that store are kept in dirty cages that are too small and the smell of the store is out of this world.

Great selection of products, nice diversity of ball python morphs, and top quality live/ frozen rodents. The staff is also really nice and they do love their animals. Shop local :)

Aquarium supplies for reptiles and live food had great pricing. Lots of snakes and reptiles for sale to chose from. I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 because the smell when you open the door is stronger then I'm used to for a pet/fish/aquarium store. Still well worth the visit.

Good selection and prices. However the smell of bacteria coming off the reptile tanks is horrid and the living conditions of the rodents is terrible they need screened ventilated cages not a fish tank with no air flow.

Good small local pet store. Chain pet stores do not have good quality feeders. I need the best for my scaley man. Great to pop in to get feeders or supplies for my scaley boy.

Really cool reptiles, great pet sitting place, and good pet supplies. We'd have loved to see more of the other exotic animals, but they weren't on display. Staff was very friendly.

I so appreciate how knowledgeable the staff are! I had adopted a baby anole from my local plant store. I also haven’t had reptiles since I was a kid and didn’t know where to start. The staff were so kind and helpful and left with everything I needed to get him situated! Thank you!

Friendly staff. Was expecting more stock but they are more than happy to special order. Just ask. Definitely coming back once I have other tanks set up.

It was horrible. It smelled so bad. The reptiles look so sad. The tanks are too small for some of the snakes. Had to leave from smell and seeing the animals the way they were being housed.

Drove an hour and half to make a purchase. Animals are well cared for and you can see they really care about their husbandry. Clean enclosures. Good prices. Kind and friendly staff. They know their small rodents that's for sure, well worth the extra travel time!!

I have 3 bearded dragons 1 of which I got from here. Friendly knowledgeable people and way cheaper than petco and petsmart only go there if crickets are out of stock

They held onto my bearded dragon that was lost (someone turned in ) and took care of him for 7 days until they searched for the owner (us) , and we were reunited !! Thank you for having a heart !!!

This place for what it's worth is actually a pretty decent place. It only lost the star because the people that work there seem to have a little attitude problem. Like maybe they're overly confident in what they do.. whereas a customer can't object or speak on what it used to be like.. but considering this is the only place that sells insect feed and care for not your everyday pets, I only go in and out. Definitely not there to make friends with the people that handle everything.

This is by far one of the best pet supply outlets I've ever shopped. They've got a wide variety of creatures, enclosures, and accessories. The friendly, knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate staff make selecting the appropriate animal and necessities easy and fun. Plus, their prices are some of the most competitive in the area.Large chains and franchises can't offer the same value for the cost. I personally travel a good distance from the city just to patron this store for my reptile needs.My last comment on this matter, is about their supply and reliability. In the depths of the Crown Virus pandemic they were some of very few businesses, that actually continued to serve customers and provide all that we required. I would have had to resort to trapping rats in town in order to sustain the Silver Serpents.

Just purchased my first ball python from the store. The staff was so wonderful that I just had to buy one. Every question I had was answered and it was super helpful. They also have an array of different animals that are super well cared for (at least what I could see). Cages were kept super clean - there was someone cleaning while we were there. Overall one of the best experiences I've had while purchasing a pet. I can't wait to bring my new ball home!!! Thank you Wet Pet & Reptile Center. :)

Best spot around. Years of experience and even pet sit while you go on vacation. Some pets are worth dropping off if your gone for a week or so.Drop off my tortoise from time to time as they need to be fed every day.

This place used to be good. Now they are horrible. The only store around that you still can't go into even wearing a mask. Then they want you to wear a mask outside on the sidewalk. The are rude and they lost my business. I have been a customer here for a while even when they were at there old location. But the store is going downhill. When you were aloud inside it smelled horrible. I was trying to support the little guy and not the big box stores. But Brian has lost my business for good. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE

Always friendly and helpful. Ive had animals my whole life. From roaches n spiders to assorted snakes even 13 ft burmese python. Not many pet centers like this around anymore. Everything on line. Stop in say hi. U will enjoy. Ask questions. Staff love it...bring ur kids....update from few years ago. Went downhill. Only half of the stock. Still good service. Hours cutback. Sorry to see. Still have few things left.

Amazing selection of feeders for all reptiles and an large range of animals. They aren’t a typical “pet store” and I feel like that’s what’s so off putting to some reviewers. But as I said, they have a large selection of feeders, and compared to many other stores I’ve been to that sell feeders, they have the smell managed well. It’s not overbearing. I will definitely be going again.

Good prices it also had alot of exotic frogs scorpions and snakes they had alot of cool tarantulas to even though it stank I still enjoyed going there and I bought my first tarantula here Colombian pumpkin patch tarantula and its very docile active and is thriving in our house.
