First n foremost this location is by far the most clean, well-stocked and you CANT best there prices anywhere!! The woman that greet you are so sweet n chipper!! Theres a female with orange hair who really stood out to me!!! She was 1 of the sweetest ppl I've met, also was very accommodating to every customers needs despite her being super busy!!

Really poor service.We get in line and we hand the young man our bags. He takes the bags and puts the bags on our groceries. All he did was scan our groceries took the payment, while we were bagging our groceries he move to the next customer. When I called I was told by a young lady that the cashiers has an opinion to bag.So if all they are doing is scanning the groceries then maybe we need to go with self checkouts and get rid of the lazy ones.THIS IS WHY THIS GENERATION IS LAZY ……

This is a good place to shop. It has all the items as other bug supermarkets, but the price is higher. It's still worth it, if you want to save time. Food Lion is easily accessible for.pedesteians and is a great place to shop. Their best items are freshly made tortilla chips and marinated chicken and meats. Look for their special brand for.double.savings!

This was my first visit to this store, as I had recently moved in the area. Had to get used to the unfamiliar layout, but all the employees were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Items were reasonably priced. I'll be going there again. Two thumbs up. 👍👍

I like this store, it's close to my house.. and they usually have every item I need, in stock, unlike the other places. So It has become one of my favorite places to shop since moving to Essex last year. And that's mainly because of them having my items in stock.I do not like having to go to different stores, trying to find items that one store didn't have. . . . So for that I stay with the one who has all that I need in one place.

Good supermarket. I love the quality of the products. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the time the lines aren't too long. And best of all is they stay open late and open early. One of my go-to supermarkets.

Alot of the employees have been there since we started shopping there years ago. so they are all friendly, helpful , and treat you like family. The deli employees v always remember my order ,& how I like my cheese stacked & my meats sliced..

I called the bakery trying to place an order and was given the run around so I asked to speak with the manager and it was a lady name Debbie(assuming she couldn’t have been the manager)who got on the phone and she was extremely rude, I’m not going to lie I just hung up the phone, because her tone was to much and I’m not a child

Good 1st. Lots of snacks that are hard to find. Some allergy friendly one also. Which I need.Not alot of produce but it looks pretty good.Prices are high except for sale. Good sales.Now bad. Meat is AWFUL. Bought strip steaks. They looked Ok but yuck.Staff at this store is really rude. At least the ones I have had interactions with. Cashiers were slow too. Look at my reviews I do not trash stores or services.

Grocery shopping on a Friday evening after work, extremely tired and go to check out and not even one lane was open . Everyone shopping was forced to use a self checkout. They claimed to not have any cashier's but the cashier's are standing there to help you check out . After working in a warehouse all day and then grocery shopping, the last thing I want to do is someone else's job . Self serve should be an option, NOT MANDATORY. There were plenty enough workers available to help you checkout in the self service lanes , why weren't they behind a register in the first place ?

It's a good store I have a twelve-year-old son and I send him in there with a list. The deli Workers are so nice to him he orders his ham and turkey and he wait patiently and they will come out and hand it to him and then he do the rest of the shopping and sometimes he might call me and ask me where stuff are and I'll go like I'm not sure it's a good workout for him Easy to locate stuff and the staff is great ready to help my son. I sit in the parking lot and play bubble bash on my phone what a awesome life.

Use to like this store but after today i don't like the store so much ordered a cake on Friday to be picked up today at twelve when I got there to get the cake there was no cake or any thing saying I ordered a cake finally was able to get my cake by three it looks like they rushed to make the cake it was very sloppy was not worth the money I paid for it. I will no longer order any cakes from there bakery they need to do better the cake is sloppy and tasted nasty.

Mr. Lee has outstanding customer service. He greeted as I walked into food lion . And as I checked out he seen I needed some assistance with pushing my cart to my car and trying to carry my baby at the same time so he stepped in to assist . He told me to get in the car and he took care of putting my groceries in my trunk for me . I truly appreciated that . Thanks for the amazing customer service Mr. Lee .

I like this Food Lion. it's hidden and in the cut almost like a neighborhood supermarket. The staff is very friendly and they keep the store clean and stocked up!! Very impressed :)

Honestly the entire appeal of this store is the employees in it. Everyone is so friendly and kind, even when things were incredibly stressful with lines down all the aisles at the start of the 2020 pandemic. I am happy to chat with the cashiers and feel like interactions are both genuine and positive with them. Love the organization too!

I'm new to the area and my first impression was that this is a very nice and clean store, I also observed the employees and the managers; they are really nice too...I also like that it's close to my new home and that they believe in having cashiers and opening lines whenever necessary. I like shopping there a lot.There was a renovation, and the store is even nicer.

I moved to Essex in Oct 22’. The checkout reps are always very personable and professional. The outside personnel are always so extremely friendly. I’ll keep coming back just because of him. 😌
