This store is sooooooo much better then it was before. The new employees actually care to help there customers. I had this one employee name Annie she was so sweet to help me and my mother look for items we could not find. The store is cleaner and stocked way better. This will forever be my home store. The store manager and team I hope they see this and will continue to do great!!!!!

12/12/2019: this location has been closed for about a week straight.The shelves are never stocked, products are always lined up in bins along the aisles and never put on the shelves. When ever they have items on sales they never have those items NEVER, they pull all the sale items off the shelves. This location has been with out tooth paste and body wash for almost a while month. For the most part the employees are nice but someone who knows how to organize and order properly

Incompetent, is an understatement. Waiting at store nearly 2 hours to resolve an issue, get a refund. Called customer service over 5 times and no help. Still trying to have issue fixed. Store clerk kept dealing with other people delaying dealing with my issue. Even with two agents!

My mom and I were in there the other night. They close at 9 p.m. the woman employee came up to us a and told us to go up to the register because it was about to close. We walked up to the register and were then informed by the man cashier that the registers were already cut off and he was unable to ring us up... My mom asked him why would they turn off the registers when they still had customers in the store..... It was 9:0 2 p.m., which means he had to have turned the registers off before they actually closed in order to have counted out the money in the register .... That's really poor customer service. Especially when they knew there were still people in the store... By the time anyone else reads this, they will probably have another whole set of employees in there anyway...

This place is so unprofessional they closed thru our the day on some days then when they is open they telling people they closed win people just left the store why put up you closed at 10 pm if u closing the store early I got at this store 9:30 pm and just for one of the employees to tell me they closed . Store need professional and employees that wants to work .

They barely restock the shelves. It’s mostly the stores fault. How can you have a stocker that’s also a cashier at the same time? Also, the workers don’t know how to talk. I asked the stocker about a specific product and they said: ‘Do you see it on the shelf?’ That’s the nonsense I deal with there. I went there almost everyday for a year and barely restocked anything but weekly or biweekly. Also, I called the complaint number and was transferred to someone from India. What do they know about a Baltimore county mD store? Nothing! And the prices sometimes aren’t correct. I went in there, bought me some nice JD croissants and the price was a dollar more at the counter. I didn’t know til later and when I brought the receipt and told them they didn’t give me my dollar. I could have used that at the dollar store or something.

So with this particular store their always picked through. Sometimes what you go for is there and most of the time it isn't!! Their cashier's are ALWAYS SLOW at ringing ppl up. So like today, I was there just for 2 things and I had 2 ppl in front of me and it took almost 10min to get to the register and when it was finally my time at the register it took almost 5min to get rung up cause of course the cashier was on her phone and chatting with another employee! This was very frustrating to me!! Keep in mind I only had 2 items!! So yea I suggest if you go to this store prepare for something you need not being there and/or waiting in long lines! Only positive is they were doing well with Covod-19 protocols!

The remodel is nice , it’s been a while since I’ve been I so I was pleasantly surprised ! Most of the staff is very kind , A young white women and a young black man were the cashiers and both were so helpful and kind . Store is a little messy but the friendly staff make up for it .

store was easy to go through to find what you need. Large stock carts were blocking the aisles. Once at register had to wait for cashier to appear, she was on the phone most of the time. Register had no receipt paper. Cashier was clearly overwhelmed and frustrated however remained kind. Several of these issues should be addressed.😞

They should try to understand their customers. I visited to pick up a soda and a clerk ran me down to say that "I could not have my backpack (which was a MK purse). She wanted me to leave my purse at the front of the store. This will be my last visit.

This store is well kepted and the staff try their hardest to be helpful and polite but sometimes I think the people from the neighborhood make their jobs hardThe kids are unruly and the adults are rude to the cashiers and expect a kind response after being cursed out. I shop here all the time and it’s sad to see the false reviews and nasty comments because these employees have to deal with a lot a this location. Oh yeah I was present when the incident happened with the young girl Dominique and the girl in line was being very disrespectful calling the other cashier a bunch of profanity words that I won’t repeat. The customer was horrible and the cashiers tried to appease her but the customer decided to throw something at the cashier. These cashiers deal with a lot and it sucks that that young lady lost her job for defending herself. Back river neck road has a lot of crazies around there and their should be security

Almost , bought $200 + worth of stuff , kindly asked the cashier to leave my cart here while I went to my car , 6 minutes later she starts putting my stuff away saying “ I can’t leave food out “ all I got was lunch meat & French toast ( frozen food )…….. since she has nothing better to do I bought nothing 💯 1 simple request from a customer !

Can I just say how amazing rhonda is ! Every time I come in she always greets me , and she super nice ! I love coming in when she’s working ! She’s always so happy and respectful. Also another girl who works there (not sure of her name) but she’s young , she’s very nice aswell ! Also a young boy who is always at cash register is very friendly ! I love those three staff members ! And I just love how kind they are ! THEY DEFINITELY MAKE DOLLAR GENERAL GREAT !

I love dollar general but this is one of my least favorite locations to shop at. Mainly because of the staff. They are very rude and nonchalant about helping you. Especially Tabitha. During the clearance event she was zero help. There is another cashier there who has a nasty attitude. I didnt catch her name but she is short with dreds and gapped teeth. She was even nasty to kids.There is one young lady named Dominique there who is very sweet and nice. The store is always nice and clean which keeps me coming back but having to deal with the employees is a turn off

This store never stocks their shelves. I've went in here 3 times on different occasions to get body wash and they literally had none on the shelves.

Havnt shopped here in years. Was kinda impressed with the prices, but not so much with the attitude I got when the price turned out to be wrong. Had to argue that I didnt stock two shelves of product at the wrong price, and they should honor it. After all, I was only buying one...

The cashier that worked tonight has no respect for personal space. I wasn’t even able to pick up my bags and put my change away in my wallet that I had in hand before she rang up the person behind me and they where literally on my heels. If the tables were turned I’m sure I would have been cursed out on sight. So my question is who do I curse out the customer behind for being on my heels or the cashier who didn’t even let me put my money away or pick up my bags before she rushed the person behind me to be rung up and the funny thing is there was nobody behind the customer behind me so it’s not like she had a line out the door as a matter of fact she didn’t have a line at all.

Kind of small store but they'll probably have what you're looking for. Prices will be a little higher. Associates are nice but don't go to the store when they're SUPPOSE to be open, 8:00. They do not open on time and it's been more than once.

Its convenient for stuff you forgot during big shopping trips but there never seems to be enough staff for the consistently busy times. Employees are friendly though and even though its always cluttered and seems constantly transitioning I can still usually find what I need

Never had any problems with the employees there. Only issue is long lines for the most part. And sometimes there's merchandise carts in the way, but I just push it out the way.

Definitely not the best one ive been in. I think this may be the most unorganized and dirty one i have been to. The help is unmentionable because I really didn't ask them anything so they may be great for all I know.

This location is fully stocked with all the various things that Dollar General is known to sell it is a very busy location. The customer service is great and it's a nice place to shop.

I believe first Dollar General is the worst Dollar General that’s identity they never have anything that you leave the shelves always empty believe new management at this location when you have a family dollar and a dollar tree competing you would think that their shelves will be stocked like Family Dollar and dollar tree
