I am so pleased with the stores process. The place looks amazing and always greeted at the door and thanked when leaving. I would like to say that this dollar general was a disaster but over the last 2-3 months it has been great. Customer service too. But then I find out that a really nice girl there was set up and terminated? It’s so wrong and disrespectful and probably has messed her up financially too by waking up to a message of being fired. I really don’t want to go back here and believe dollar general needs to step up with how they treat their employees and maybe they wouldn’t lose so many people. This girl works hard every time I go in. I think they should definitely give her the job back and appreciate everything her and the new hard working employees have done for the store in such a short amount of time.

The staff is nice and helpful, and most of the store is clean and organized. however like many dollar generals a lot of the aisles are too close together and a bit disorganized. A lot of item placement also doesn't make a lot of sense. It's one of the better dollar general's I've been to especially for the area it's in.Edit: Typo

This Dollar General usually has things I cannot find in the one closest to our home so I do shop there, from time to time. It definitely isn't the most organized DG I've been to but it is convenient when I drop by on my way to the grocery store. If the aisles were a little wider and if items were cleaned up more, less people would complain about it.

This location is a mess. Aisles are cramped which is to be expected for a dollar store. I’m not sure sure how many people work in this location but they need to clean it up and keep it organized. There were baskets turned upside down in the aisles. Merchandise tossed on the floor. Clothing just thrown over the hooks and racks.

Talk about convenient. Literally fifteen Paces off of Main Street. This well-lit, and easy to access location is a frequent stop for us. This location is well stock, has friendly staff, and should have most of your general needs. Nothing else around for Miles, so it's a great place to stop.

The store is in a good place but it really doesn't have anything on the shelves because they have no help there they have one person stalking the shelves and doing the cash register the store is a mess they need help so badly because one person can't do it all and who ever runs that company is a lazy Because they should get out of behind the desk and help out the store the store should be shut down if they can't get some help and the people that r working there r so sweet and nice and they r working so hard they all need a raise

The place is pretty organized. The aisles can be a bit cramped. They have a new health food section. Great place to buy certain things when they are on sale. The dollar section has a great selection.

Wowzers! The place has it all! Discount menthols... All the different Monster Flavors... Terlett paper. Any other store is a Dollar Sargeant (NCO) compared to the Dollar General.

I usually enjoy shopping at this store because the staff used to be really nice, but they've changed a lot of the staff. That take zero appreciation in their customers and have poor respect when customers are waiting at the counter.

only one person there... always a line to get out..store manager when shes there does nothing but talks b.s. about everyone in town.i quit working there because of how childish the management is..no one is properly trained for there positions ..and has mice runing in the food in the back room and the food on the sales floor you can grab a bag of chips or candy and you can see the chew marks on them. rodant feces on the shelfs and on boxes the the food comes in.

Needed some help with organizing the store. Box's to unpack on shelf are everywhere. Have to wait for employee to keep looking at the register while they're unloading boxes on the shelfs. I live in emmitsburg and there is the same establishment in thurmont and our's is nothing in comparison. Emmitsburg store needs to up there game!

Drove to DG to pick up cold medicine but when i showed up at ten till ten, although all the lights were still on, both doors were locked. The girls behind the checkout counter were taking their register drawers out. I knocked, they ignored. I’ve never once written a review on Google, good or bad, but this is the third time over the course of the last year that this has happened so i thought it was time.

Management is a joke at this store. Always closing the store for random reasons when they are supposed to be open. Horrible customer service the few times I have been in there, wont be returning until a lot of changes are made
