Great self dog wash stations, perfect height and plenty of water pressure.The dryers are good for most dogs, butIt would need nice to have one larger, more powerful dryer for large breed dogs. Drying a 125lb pyrenees poodle mix takes a while.

Pleasantly surprised with this place! They had a wash basin large enough for our mixed mountain dog (1/2 Bernese mountain dog, 1/4 Newfoundland, and 1/4 Great Pyrenees) that weighs ~ 125 lbs. They have the combo shampoo/conditioner, towels, fur dryer, and rubber brushes. We’ll need to bring our own dog brush since our boy has tons of fur. We’ll definitely be returning in the future. 5/5 stars.

I took our almost 8 month golden doodle for a full groom this week. Our whole family loved his new style. Jordan did a great job. Everyone was friendly and he was even done a little sooner than expected.

I used the self-serve wash station. It was $13.00 (if you bring your own soap). They provide towels and air dryer also. The wait wasn't long. This was quick and convenient. We'll be back next month!

Perfect spot for any dog that needs a bath and won’t tolerate the in-home bathtub. Staff is super friendly and the facilities make it easy to get your dog looking fresh

Very clean, friendly, and calm. They provided all of the towels we needed, but I'm not sure about shampoo because we brought our own. You have your own enclosed space, and the tubs have doors so your pet can't escape. Will definitely be going back!

This place is great! I've been taking my dog here since 2019 every year for his birthday and Jacob is wonderful! He's gentle, talks with my dog to keep him relaxed and has great expertise on what to use thats best for his skin and fur. The self service is well stocked and clean, but I highly recommend giving your pet the full service with the wonderful staff.

This is 3rd time taking my golden doodle to Shelley and it will be my last. First two times I was happy as she followed what I wanted. This time he is shaved down to nothing. Furthermore, he is so uneven and has bald spots. I’m legit still in disgust a groomer would think this was an acceptable groom. My poor puppy! The owner is unprofessional and hung up on me. I will never refer this business to anyone. Oh and the 5 star reviews are mainly for using their baths for dogs. Groomers are awful and shouldn’t have clippers or scissors in their possession! In addition I also noticed he has razor burn with a scab from where she shaved him!! She picsThanks for all the love ❤️ we have found a new grommer and he’s already so furry!

This is a great place to take your dog if you want friendly staff and a great cut. My dog’s groomer, Shelly, is amazing with my dog. My dog loves her and I do too! I have tried quite a few dog groomers with my fur babies throughout the years and I finally found a place I’m happy and sticking with!

This place was great. Simple wash stations that are fully equipped. Even with a ramp so I don't have to pick up my 30lb 3 month old. They offer products to use/buy but it's less if you bring your own. Pitties have skin issues so I'm careful and bring ours. There are towels and a gentle dryer. My very matted goldendoodle got her first grooming from The Dog Wash and we were satisfied with the care and attention they gave her. The staff were very nice and friendly and even schedule a follow-up grooming appointment for Belle to make sure she’s on track and won’t be so matted the next time around. My dog walks around now looking like the diva she is.

I love this place! Million dollar idea, you walk in with your Pooch, Greeted & told which "stall", each w/towels, a fur dryer & Aprons. Walk your dog on a leash into your stall & walk them up a small, short ramp into the bathtub w/hose. Hot/Cold & gentle nozzle. Our Blue 💙 Loves It!

I have been coming here for about a year now, and always use Shelly as my groomer. I have a shih tzu/bichon mix. Shelly did her first groom when my girl was 4 months, I wanted to get her used to being groomed. She’s been here at least 6 times since. I like her to have a close cut on her body, as we live in an area with lots of ticks, and she’s always groomed just how I like her to be. Since we’ve started seeing Shelly, Chloe has slowly become easier with her face being trimmed and she loves going there. The prices a very reasonable and they treat Chloe as if she was their own. 10/10 highly recommend taking your pups here.

I have been bringing my dogs to the dog wash since they opened. I have only once brought home a dog with a haircut I wasn't too thrilled about and with one quick phone call they seemed ready to offer anything in their power to help. That was almost 6 years ago and I've had only the best experiences since.They're not afraid to discuss options with you and even let you know what you're asking (because face it, as owners we have an idea of what we want, but we most likely not groomers so we don't always really know what we're asking...).My favorite part of the dog wash is that all of my dogs love it. People are shocked when I tell them my dogs absolutely love their groomer. Even our dog that would yelp and fuss when I tried to trim his nails would sit still for them.I had a dog with a leg injury and they even let me stay with him while they groomed (talk about no closed doors). They worked ever so carefully and took their time. No rushing just to get it done and no extra charge for the extra time it took for him.

Brought my 2year-old 80# Great Dane / Lab / Hound mix in for the 1st time today, & Jacob helped make it a wonderful visit. Loved that Jacob was super kind & helpful when I called & when I arrived, as well as treats, towels, aprons, soap, clean booth all ready to go. Got the deed done (wash & blow dry) and left the clean-up to them ...what a gift!! I used The Dog Wash many years ago while my first dog was alive. It was wonderful then and still is!🙂

We were first-time dog washers. After a short coaching session we were off and sitting still! She wasn't wild about the water, soap, drying, and blow-drying, but we all got through it.The setting was calm. The booths were clean. Everything was well organized. The folks there were courteous, helpful, and cheerful.

So nice and trimmed my dog's nails and pads. Looked good when we left. Unlike Milford Delaware pup place. They double charged me for groom and didn't even trim nails or pads. Never went back there. 😒

We have taken our Maltese and German Shepherd here for 4 years and we love it. Both of our dogs are seniors and they were treated with the upmost tender loving care. All the groomers are very professional: Susan, Sam, Alexia, Shelly, and Jordan. We are very grateful for this shop and we’re happy we found this absolute gem of a grooming salon! The highest possible recommendation!!! You will NOT be disappointed.

We recently brought our rescue pup, Pretzel, here for a grooming. The service was all around phenomenal! Pretzel’s groomer, Shelly, was fantastic! She was very patient and understanding with our boy. She asked questions and listened closely to everything we wanted for his grooming. The staff was so caring and kind. They all treated our boy like he was one of their own. Pretzel left feeling fabulous, and we were very happy with our experience here. We felt very safe leaving Pretzel here for his grooming, and without a doubt will be back!

14 years ago I moved to Howard County with my two elderly dogs. All the big chain pet stores REFUSED to groom either of my dogs. That is how I came to find The Dog Wash in Ellicott City. They were more than willing to groom my two "fur babies" and both dogs totally enjoy all the attention that all the staff gave them. Fast forward to today, and three dogs later, I still take my "babies" to The Dog Wash! I still am beyond pleased with the way my dogs look after a visit! It is almost unheard of any more, but all the groomers that were there when I started going to The Dog Wash are still working there 14 years later! I tell all my friends that they need to go to The Dog Wash in Ellicott City! You will be pleased!

The dog wash is the best place I’ve ever taken my dog to be groomed! I Informed them that my dog had a seizure at another grooming facility and they took extra care to make sure he wasn’t super anxious or scared throughout his entire visit. The staff is very friendly and accommodating if you tell them your dogs needs. This has become my go to place now when I get my dog groomed.

I used to take my former dog, Buddy, to the Dog Wash in Ellicott City and he loved it! Now, I've taken my current dog, Rooney, to the Dog Wash 4-5 times in the past year and we still love it. We use the self-service dog washing section and it's perfect. Even if we forget our shampoo and use theirs, it's still an overall GREAT price. The staff is always friendly as well.

The dog wash was extremely convenient. Everything was clean, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. They have large stainless steel bathing tubs that are sit up on platforms and allow you to strap your dog in so they can't move around a lot. It was easy on the back and they have commercial hair dryers to dry your dog off when finished. They have towels and shampoo or if you bring your own its somewhat cheaper.
