Great place to get supplies for your pets. They explained why big brand dog food was not healthy at all and allowed me to choose better food for my pets. Good reward program too!

Since moving back to the US it’s been almost impossible to find the type of cat food my one cat likes. I’ve been looking for the past six months with no sign of it. Well today I decided I should try stopping in here and seeing what they had. I asked the store attendant if they had any of the cat food and she wasn’t sure. But she started looking it up and turns out it’s under a completely different name in the United States! She helped make my cats night!

Very nice people. Greeted politely when i came in and left to browse. I think the man who helped me was the owner. He was so helpful with suggestions and recommendations when I asked him. I like that he waited until I asked. I highly recommend going here.

They have what I need for my cat and they have been very kind. I wish pricing was a bit better for loyal clients, like a point card with discount or goodies but maybe inflation doesn’t allow that? Anyway great pet store 👍🏻

After moving to Maryland, we spent so much time and research trying to find the same food we gave our dog previously. He can only eat one type or he has all kinds of internal issues. After searching for two months, we found my pet store and more as our savior. Not only did they have his food, but we could have it shipped to our house or the store to pick up. Wow!! We sre very thankful for the store and will continue to support the small business.

I have been trying to find a good substitute for a big pet store and I have definitely found the place. My dog deserves to eat a higher quality of food without paying a ridiculous price for it. The selection of dog food they had in here was extensive, to say the least. I didn't recognize any of the brands (a good thing, so no blue Buffalo or any of that nonsense) and the food looked to be high quality at a reasonable price. They also had a fun selection of of snacks where I picked up multiple dog treats. I will definitely be returning. The employee at the front was very friendly, and when I walked in, he asked if I needed help, and then left me to my own devices when I declined. I never felt pressured. Awesome experience, will return.

Nice boutique. I particularly like the fact they carry a couple of frozen raw brands for cats, I recently switched my cats to raw food but not want to have to make it myself. Answers and Small Bites are very convenient and I am happy to have that store nearby with this 2 brands. You can order flavors that are not in store, very convenient as well.

We've been buying all our pet foodstuffs from Chris for over ten years, maybe more. Long enough that we've redeemed the Orijen "buy 10 get one free" twice for 25lb bags. That's over 550 lbs of food.Today, I went for the usual 25lb bag of Orijen and case of canned food. The price on the shelf for the Orijen was $80.99. When I checked out, the total seemed high so I checked and I'd been charged $88.99 for the bag.So I asked the young lady to wait a minute and went back to check the price again, basically sending up signal flares that charging more than the price posted on the 2X2 inch etched Formica plaque on the shelf to a long time customer probably wasn't a desirable financial strategy.So I got back and say, yep, the price on the shelf is $80.99 and she basically says, welp, the system says it $88.99.So I left the bag and bought the cans (The prices matched) and on the way home I called my wife and before you know it, we'd figured out we can get the same bag and cases of food delivered to our door for roughly 3% more than MPSAM's price du jour. When you factor in travel and time, believe me, Folks, that's less expensive.When you factor in that when you go there you may be charged whatever "The System" happens to feel like charging you irrespective of visual evidence--posted by the store--to the contrary, it becomes a no-brainer even at break even.So, Chris, the next many thousands we spend on food for our furry kids will be going elsewhere and I will no longer tell people--of which there have been *many* (We do Rover, BTW)--to go to this store.It was a good run. I enjoyed our conversations.

Best pet store ever! Knowledgeable, friendly, kind staff/ Great selection of quality pet foods & treats, and all other supplies!I took my dog there on her birthday and the owner took us right to a bag of birthday cake flavored treats! Perfect thing for her.They even let me know about some changes in the sourcing of ingredients in my dog's food! She has food sensitivity (as many Bulldogs do!) and that information is important for me to know!He always offers to help me out to my car and although I haven't needed him to yet, it is awesome of him to offer!Just a great place to shop!

Chris is the best! He and his staff are always willing to help and are very knowledgeable. I also appreciate that he only sells/stocks items that are healthy/safe for my furry family! His pricing is competitive and you just won’t beat the quality, service and selection at a big box store. He has a loyal customer in us and our 5 four-leggeds!

Chris is extremely knowledgeable, helpful and accommodating.Being an independent store allows him to get to know his customers and their pets.He will make recommendations when asked, but is never pushy and he's worked with us when we needed to experiment by trying different products to find the one that works best.His product selection is conscientiously chosen, well balanced and his prices are surprisingly low compared to the big stores. The online store (free shipping to the store) is a great addition, and covers a lot of the "And More" portion of the stores name: Gardening, farming...Chris and his staff are uncomplicated and clearly love what they do!Whether you're a new pet owner or have had pets all your life, this store is unbeatable in customer service and all-around knowledge.We've been loyal customers for a few years, and even after moving to a different area, we still come to My Pet Store and More for our pet needs.

What a wonderful place! The staff is bright and friendly-very helpful. Chris is amazing. They carry my dog's Earthborn which is hard to find here in MD and at a reasonable price. You can even order online and pick up in store for an additional discount. Shopping here is a win win. Thanks

What a great pet store! Best place to obtain Earthborn dog food and other holistic foods for your beloved four legged family members. Also it's the only place in town to stock the Himalayan cheese chews at such a reasonable price.Chris, the owner has been extremely helpful and his knowledge of the products he sells is really impressive. The new crew just doesn't do it for me. This change won't stop me from shopping at the store but it's truly a difference now that Chris isn't there when I visit. The personalized shopping experience Chris gives us just isn't there anymore with the young folks there now. We miss you Chris!

This a great place for all of your pet needs. Huge selection and small business owned...(not a big box chain).I highly recommend this shop because the prices are much lower than the big chain pet stores and if you have an questions or need advice about a problem or issue with your pet the staff is very knowledgeable and approachable.It's not like your dealing with a minimum wage teenager that never even owned an animal.Parking is free, easy and plentiful.

Nice store, the owner is super friendly. Large variety of items. Pricing is about middle of the road compared to other specialty pet stores, not the highest, not the lowest. I''m not sure what's happening with the prices though. If you order and pay online to pick up in store, the prices are cheaper than if you buy in store. You still have to drive there to pick up what you ordered so I don't get the point of this process.

I absolutely LOVE this store. They have a HUGE selection of treats, food, toys, etc! Honestly the best place I've ever been and the prices are extremely reasonable!!The owner is absolutely FANTASTIC!!! He is so knowledgeable and helped me understand feeding a raw diet.. Gave me some samples for my pups to try. I have 6 dogs and finding a food that everyone liked or could eat was a nightmare because we have some with allergies to certain things like chicken and salmon/fish. Those are 2 incredibly difficult ingredients to get away from and fortunately in Sojos I was able to meet everyones needs and my dogs absolutely love it!!Unfortunately I just moved away from Maryland but my husband is still traveling back and forth for work. I refuse to shop anywhere else... Even from 900 miles away. I was desperate ONCE since moving and bought at a local store and had the worst experience.. They were not friendly in the least. So I will continue to support this store even if i have to drive the 900 miles myself!!I mean the owner really is just EVERYTHING and more!! I cant express to you how wonderful he is. Now if he could only open up a shop in Florida.... 😇 that'd be perfect. He is working on getting shipping to other places than the store up and running though and I check back constantly to see how that's going. Lol. Like i said... I refuse to shop anywhere else. I would recommend My Pet Store and More to anyone! You wont find anywhere better!!

The best local pet store around! Staff is incredibly helpful and friendly, it is always a treat to go into their store. I buy large bags of food, and they always offer to take to the car for me- when was the last time you went to a big box store and got that kind of special treatment! Their variety in food and treats is fantastic.

This place is WONDERFUL! Starting with amazing customer service... a big selection, and great prices! Chris always is friendly and very helpful with anything you need... he can place an order for specialty items online, suggest food to try for your pet who is a picky eater or has dietary needs, and he will carry your purchase to the car for you. I truly enjoy spending my money at MY PET STORE AND MORE in Ellicott City. They deserve my business and I trust them to sell only items that are of high quality for my pets. So go there, even if it's a little out of your way-- you can drop by the Dunkin Donuts and get something for you too!!

Shortly after moving to the area I asked my fellow Howard County horse owners about the best tack and supply store in town. My friends gave me great reviews of My Pet Store and More, saying that the horse selection in store was small but that the web selection was substantial. I've found that to be true. I love being able to make a single monthly stop for cat food and horse supplements. They stock high-quality supplies for the inside pets, and for the horse, their online selection and their pricing for day to day items like dewormer, supplements, and grooming tools are competitive with major retailers like Dover and SmartPak. It's a real convenience to be able to order items online and have them shipped to the store, where the staff are friendly and helpful. I've gotten great recommendations on cat care supplies from the employees. I'm glad my friends pointed me here!

WAY better then any other pet store i've come across so far. Maybe needs a bigger space but only because he's got EVERYTHING in there. They have an amazing selection of toys for dogs I haven't seen anywhere else and prices are fair. Extremely friendly owner. Definitely worth checking out!

Used to live right down the street from this store. We have since moved and live an hour away but still regularly shop here for our dogs. Chris is extremely knowledgeable and helpful which makes the drive worth it. They carry a variety of unique products and foods that are not available other places!

Would give this store 5 stars were it not for the location which is under construction. The parking lot is small and very tight. It will be better once all of the construction equipment has been removed. The store is small but they have a large selection of products to include organic.
