I take my dog here with some degree of regularity, they do a good job. My doggo always seems happy and well taken care of. Although I feel some things could be better here I still think they’re the best locally. 5 stars

They did'nt blow out my 14 year old calm german sheppard. Said it was to much hair . So I got her back wet and also clumps of hair not brushed out. then my 1 year old puppy Shepherd was to much for them they said . She came back with a bump on her nose and also I had to rebrush her as well . Very horrible experience and i will never use them again

Yes I like pet Style the only thing if they would let me know if they're having problems with my doggy Luke and I did ask for grinding for his nails when I got there but that didn't happen hopefully on his next visit they will take care of everything other than that I was very pleased

Do not take ur dog here they burned my dog by his eye nd stomach tried to blame my family for their mess up. Very rude also no apology or sympathy 4 my dog do not refer this groomer at all... I only gave 1 start due to I cnt place review without a Starr smh

Today was our first appointment at Pet Styles. Rudy and Snowbell are seniors and usually don't tolerate grooming. I was told they behaved well. Their grooming was beyond expectations and I highly recommend!!

Took my dog there for 9 am appointment. Called late for work so I could do so. Then I get a call saying I have to pick him up because the groomer that day has never cut his hair. So had to leave work and get him. Be prepared apparently if a groomer hasn’t cut your dog before they won’t cut him. Go to Rhonda’s by redners I’ve never had a issue. They’ve also held my dog longer because of work. Good luck at this place

My dog had a painful nail problem on a Saturday. I called every veterinarian in the area but couldn't get an appointment on a Saturday afternoon. Pet Styles was very nice and saw us immediately.The business is very clean and the staff was very kind to my dog.I highly recommend. Thank you Pet Styles.

I had previously posted negative comments about this place because I didn't feel like I had been treated properly. I received a call from the manager who has taken the lead on this issue and is making it right. Therefore, I am changing my review to 5 stars because I feel like I have received great Customer Service, which is what this is about. So, if you have an issue with Pet Styles of Elkton, speak to the manager and she will work to get it resolved. That is Customer Service.

Needs Improvement:- Customer service needs work. It is very hard to get ahold of them via phone and when dropping pets off, the front desk gave me a hard time about arriving at 9:15 when the appointment was for between 9-10am. We even called when they opened to confirm the appointment time and they didn't answer 3 times and we left a message. Don't give customers a hard time when you don't answer your phone. Not a good first impression.- Prices are too high. Not my first choice but works as a back up when I can't get into my normal groomer.Positives:- Did a good job with grooming and pets smell good.- Quick grooming compared to other places.

Took my pups here twice. First experience was good for the most part, was happy they squeezed me in for a same day appointment. Took them again today, and pups smell and look great. However upon picking my pups up, I did not appreciate having to wait for 2 customers to be served before me. Got there, walked in the shop and the lady at the desk asked who I was picking up. I told her my pups' names and as another customer was coming back from walking their dog in the grass towards the rear of the parking lot, the lady stops my experience to serve her. Cool, she was there before me I suppose and just want to take her dog potty before its grooming session. But then, once her dog gets checked in I step back into the store to retrieve my dogs only to be asked to step back out so that another customer could retrieve their dog before me. Mind you, the customer and I chatted outside and told me that the shop had JUST called her. Yet, the shop called me 15 mins prior (I live 15 mins away) but I still had to wait for that customer before I could pick my pups up. I guess I'm not a valued customer or something because that is how I felt. Like I said, they do a good job but they pick and choose who they want to take care of first and to me that is bad business.

First they make you pay before you even see you dog. Then they want a too before you even see your dog! . My dog is a 4 lb dog so sweet never a problem for a groomer she has been to many they claim she was difficult I was shocked .. Then when I get home I seen she was cut up with burns from the clippers all over .. I wanted to cry because she was hurting they hurt her.. wouldn’t you be difficult also they say come back in 4 hours that mean your pup is in a cage all of them hours .. when I go to any other place it’s 1 hr and a half even if it’s 2 hours it’s ok but 4 hours that’s a lot for a dog to be caged up especially if it’s not used to a cage my baby not caged at all ! But she will never go here again! And my sister went here also and they cut her dog also but worse I don’t know what they doing in there but they not rushing if it takes 4 hours

I have been here a few times and sadly I can't say much good. They do not follow cutting instructions, sometimes they "forget" to bathe the dog or clean the ears. I do believe it depends on the groomer you receive but that should not be the case. Prices went up in January but service and quality plummeted. I have been a loyal customer but unfortunately I will not be returning.

I originally took my dog to PetSmart for a nail trim, and they said they couldn't do it because he was too hyper. Took him to Pet Styles and they bathed him and trimmed his nails with no problem and at a reasonable price.

Reasonable pricing. I always bring my Lilly and Jimmy here. Never had a bad experience and my dogs always look great after their hair cuts. They get the dogs finished in a timely manner as well.

I can't emphasize how displeased I am with the services provided to my dog. They did such a HORRENDOUS job I do not know if I can trust going back to any grooming salon ever again. I took my dog in to get a trim and a little extra off his back end and tail. Apparently the workers here can not listen for the life of them and took that and shaved him completely. I specifically said he needs a trim and for it to not be too short. My dog has been to other groomers who actually listen to what I want done and has had no problem at all. I recently moved to the area and thought I would give this place a shot and I regret it 100%. When I went to pick him up I was absolutely horrified of what they did to him. I can't express enough to NEVER go to this establishment ever since the staff simply can't listen and do their job correctly. They are completely unorganized and have no idea what they are doing.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Never, ever send your dog to this place. They shaved my dog down to the skin in so many places that we didn’t even recognize our Westie when picking her up. It will be months of her coat growing back in to undo this horrific grooming.

Had a really bad experience with this groomer. Yorkie Puppy was to have had a bath, nails cut, etc.. When I picked her up, she was very shaky and acting scared. Got her home to discover that she had cuts across her nose, under both eyes. Ears had not been cleaned and had not been bathed. Took her back to give them another chance but was still not satisfied. Then, a few weeks later my daughter took her Yorkie (who is the brother to mine) and she also had a bad experience. Got him home to discover that he had cuts on his face and also under his neck. The excuse that we were given that they were very busy that day. I don't care how busy they were, that is no excuse for what happened to our puppies. I would not recommend this groomer.

Loved it, my little girl was scared and shakey too but she shakes when I give her a bath so I expect her not to be happy to go lol. It's clean, smells great, and the girls that work there are so sweet. My girl looked so adorable when I picked her up.

Snowball got a bath, teeth brushed, nails clipped, ears cleanned out and she was treated like a little queen. She is so soft and really smells good. Donna was fabulous with her and very helpful to us. Will take Snowball back and highly recommend Pet Styles of Elkton for all your dog grooming needs.

I took my little dog to pet styles and the actual bath and nails were fine however he endedcup hurting himself during the drying process . They bever said anything about that until i called back three days later when i noticed my dogs behavior go from normal to slow and unlike himself. I picked him up and he was happy to be getting in the car i noticed his harness was tightly snugg on him and had to fix it. When i called back it was then that the lady said he didnt take well to being dried by the blow dryers. Even with the harness being to tight and him freaking out from the dryers they say it wasnt their fault . HE HURT HIMSELF TRYING TO GET AWAY FROM THEM DRYING HIM AND THAN SAID NOTHING UNTIL I CALLED. So my dogs been a completely different dog since comig home from their services , I would have known what was wrong with my dog from the start and been able to help him if they had just been honest .
