Normally this is a nice location. We are in a bad time of supply chain issues. But normally good fresh produce and ample supplies of good. Bathrooms are clean and service is very good. Quality lunch/deli counter.

This is the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. My husband went to buy snow crab legs this morning and he never checks anything. He brought them home and the snow crab legs are full of worms or worm eggs. I almost died of disgust. This shouldn't happen a good demand should be put. 04/24/2023

The past year or so the quality and consistency of the produce, meats, dairy and anything else with a considerable “expiration/sell by” date has been an issue. Last week as an example I bought a pack of seedless lemons and in less than 3 days half of them are rotten. Should have looked at the “sell by date”, but find this to be a serious issue on a number of items. Staff is friendly, but this never use to happen this consistently under the previous management. It has forced me to shop at Safeway far more often and wait in there considerably lines, but at least my food is fresher.

It had everything I needed right there at my finger tips. Staff is freindly and helpful, the store is clean and modern. Good prices and values galore. I had to poop and used the restroom, clean and delightful.

The employees are very friendly and that is why I'm giving it a 3.I bought 2 buffalo chicken pizzas that were moldy, and I bought two bags of cheese raviolis that were expired. I bought 3 huge steaks (ribeyes) from the butcher section and they were very nice looking on the one side but when I got home they were brownish and starting to have that "smell" I paid $58 for 3 steaks.The guy who waited on me there (butcher) was so kind and knowledgeable, but that is the only good thing I can say. I did call your customer service for something before I came to the store and the lady who answered was very kind and sweet. But that is where it ends for me.Very disappointing for such a big clean store, but I won't be shopping for groceries there anymore.I wanted to edit my review, as the store manager did reach out to me. She was very apologetic of what had happened to me there and told me that she went through procedures with her employees so that it won't happen to anyone else. She did tell me that she wanted to refund my money and I told her it was not necessary that I didn't even know where my receipt was at this point. She insisted on sending me a gift card to try to win my business back and she asked me when I came back to the store to stop in and meet her. I truly feel appreciated by this company and thankful that they reached out because there's a lot of people who just don't care. I will definitely give Giant another chance and review them again. This just further confirms of how friendly the employees are there. 😊 To be continued!

Anytime I've ever been here to get produce it's always been not very good quality like half the stuff is either blemished or half rotten or they just don't have the produce that you're looking for I went to get broccoli one day and they had no broccoli went to get cilantro and the three Bunches of cilantro they had were looking like they've been sitting under a heat lamp

Love our Giant, and you can count on good quality and fairly good variety.Management made the decision to close one of two entrances, so currently ( Fall 2023), there's only one way in or out.The newer self-checkout system is so sensitive that we often have to have assistance when our scanned items are not sensed as being "in the scanning area. " (they are..) Very frustrating. Actually impacts where we stop if we're on the way home and need to get a few things.

Cashier was polite and professional. Very nice gentleman. I found everything I needed with ease. I got in and out very quickly. It was really nice to have a person wait on me instead of using a self check out. I would recommend this store to others.

Got raw chicken juice all over me and my groceries because they don't know how to seal them. The lady at self checkout was very nice but paper towels aren't going clean off the salmonella all over me. You'd think a manager would of said something but I guess watching is better.... how about go Watch your meat department.

Well stocked store, the only thing I couldn't find was a small container of Kosher Salt. I always find whole buttermilk, which anyone who makes homemade biscuits knows that you need whole not 2% buttermilk for the best biscuits! I don't understand why more stores don't carry whole buttermilk. Thank you, Giant Food!

Clean, bright store. Great manager. Big selection with lots of variety. Prices on high side. Really like this place for convenience, but due to pricing, no longer my first choice to shop. Conveniently located right off Rte 2 with ample parking. Shelves seem to be better stocked and wide selection of everyday as well as specialty items.

I don’t normally write reviews, yet something compelled me to write this one. It’s the day after thanksgiving, I needed to stop by an atm for a quick withdrawal and decided to use the pnc inside of the Edgewater Giant grocery store. The majority of the employees are very pleasant and whenever I have stopped by, I have never witnessed such hostile behavior from an employee directed towards another employee as i unfortunately stumbled upon tonight. There was a gentlemen using the atm in front of me and I was standing near the cash registers. I witnessed an employee with the name tag “Kathy” approach a fellow employee with the name tag “Brenda”. Kathy was explaining how to properly assess a situation to Brenda that Kathy had just witnessed. Brenda was cordial, quiet, and respectful and seemed to understand her mistake. Kathy was rather loudly and not so kindly speaking to Brenda during this whole conversation. Even after explaining the first mistake to Brenda, she then continues to speak to her about how she can perform differently in other situations. After Kathy had walked away I smiled at Brenda and said hello. She was very polite to me a customer, and her coworkers. Kathy, I am not sure if you are training her, or a manager at this facility, but please remember people respond best to kindness, especially in forms of educating them. I have nothing wrong with witnessing coworkers help each other out, I just wish I had seen this interaction handled with more care rather than in a condensing manner. You never know what someone is going through, the holidays can be rough for some people. Spread love!

This is my go to Giant, but I’m very upset that they made the entrance where the pharmacy is an exit only because there are times when one wants to just go in and get a prescription and not have to walk 3 miles to get there. Consideration should be given to those in a hurry for those who are elderly and this is a terrible inconvenience for us. Can you find another solution to whatever reason that you decided to do this?

Always good deals and hard to find items but shelves looked pretty empty this week ....even on some sale items. 11/03 visit and still a lot of out of stocks. Safeway too!! When will this end?

Always prefer to shop in the evening when there is much less foot traffic. Occasionally, some items are out of stock, usually dairy. Checkers are always affable and bag purchases very well.Update: Giant must have heard me. Horizon milk had been available in the past weeks!

We moved to Edgewater a couple years ago, and I must say, the staff and Manager are so different, in a positive way. My wife and daughter shop together on Fridays and the staff, from produce all the way to frozen and the pharmacy are top notch. Kevin, the Manager, runs a tight ship and he is always on the floor doing what needs to get done and always greeting his customers. DeJuan is awesome; and you never have to wait at customer service or in a long line when you're ready to check out. Thank you staff and Kevin!Ted, Nancy & Beth

First timer. A little confusing getting it from the store to your car. Very nice young lady brought the bags out. Once home we found a number of items missing from the order and several of the items we received were on the verge of rotten. We called and spoke to someone at the store and they told us the missing items were not in stock but apparently they don't have to tell you that.All in all in was not a good experience , won't do it again.

The employees i have interacted with on my many visits have been pleasant and helpful. The store is also well stocked.
