Great place with excellent variety. Also, I love the case sales. It's uncommon to see a place with enough cashiers to keep it moving all the time instead of running a minimal staff.

Good selection. But if you find something at a good price and buy it, it’ll be higher the next time you visit. Has happened to me a few times there. Yeah, I know, inflation, but inflation didn’t seem to have effected the other bottles near the ones I was interested in. Somebody went to a fancy business school.

My favorite liquor, beer, and wine store in Edgewater. Great selection and very helpful staff. They stopped carrying my fave wine though (dark horse big red blend) and wish they could get it back.

Awesome selection. Great service! Someone always helps me carry my box to the car.Update 12/23--still awesome! Very helpful, pleasant, and customer-oriented. Also - LOVE the "spirits" aroma of the old wood floor boards from the original shop. Surprisingly, it's still there!

When passing through, I always like stopping in and seeing if stores have a great selection of unique beers and varieties. This is a strip mall joint that was a little larger than I expected up on entering but nicely organized and clean. Beers are right up front and priced reasonable. Kind of interesting to me is that they have a very good selection of LOCAL craft beer in general (more than I have seen in some time) but overall still on the small side for overall national/ international beer variety. For example, some great Maryland breweries had packs in here I had never seen in store but then they only had 1 of the main German brewery official Oktoberfest beers. I would guess probably 20-25% of the store is dedicated to beer. So, if I lived here this place would be a great option but I would probably need to supplement with a store that has more variety.

Has a clean, well-organized setup. Prices are fair. Selection is among the best in the area for spirits and beer is constantly rotating new seasonals/different breweries and maintains year long favorites. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful if you need a question answered. You won’t be disappointed.

Recently went to Edgewater Liquors to buy some craft beer, cider and wine for the holidays. I had two different sales associates help me. The first helped me select some Crooked Crab and Flying Dog beers with great recommendations. The second one recommended a cider for my sister in law. I have always found everyone that works at Edgewater Liquors to be friendly and quite helpful. I highly recommend Edgewater Liquors for their service and their great selection.

There is never a wait time to check out. They usually have 3 registers open at all times with very friendly people at the registers. Very customer service oriented. Everyone there seems to love their jobs which is refreshing..must have great management!!

Awesome place. Many varieties of beer, wine and liquor. I just found they carry Lyon brand liquor made on the Eastern Shore in St. Michaels.Excellent stuff. The prices are good too. I do miss the old store but at least they kept the bare wood floors.

Here's why I love Edgewater Liquors. Their staff is always super helpful. The sale prices can't be beat. They have an amazing selection. Yes, the premium items have a bit of a markup, but at least they have them. I go out of my way to shop here. If they don't have something stock, if they CAN order it for you, they absolutely will. Always a great experience!

I love coming to Edgewater liquors. They have a great selection of beer, wine, and liquors. Edgewater liquors is usually will stocked on hard to find items as well, from limited release beers like Goose Island Bourbon County Stout. I'm an avid whiskey drinker and they always have the Staples in stock and if you time it right you can pick up some rare stuff. As far as I can tell prices seem to be close to MSRP, but I haven't looked closely at the more popular and sight after offerings. If you are like me, you will keep missing the Midwinter Night's Dram shipments. The staff is always great and willing to help find what you are looking for and are generally pretty aware of their stock and how quickly items cone and go. Still looking at you, High West. The only down side is their Scotch selection is right against their check out, always feel like I'm in the way when I'm browsing, so I panic and usually end up buying Laphroaig. Which is still a win in my book but I don't get to expand my selection. Definitely recommend Edgewater liquors if you are looking for something specific or new to try.

Love this spot. I'm new to Edgewater and was glad this place was so close because it's all I needed in a liquor store. Overstocked and overstaffed (in a very good way), fair prices and good sales (the rotating $9.99 case of beer special is great), knowledgeable and friendly workers. Always a pleasure to visit Edgewater. Knowledgeable staff who knows whiskey. They also have a great selection of hard to find bourbons. Some products are a little overpriced, but still a great selection nonetheless.

Great selection of alcohol. The employees are very friendly and helpful. I heard a new product was coming out and they held one for me so that I could try it. If you don't see something always ask because they are willing to order it. They also appear to have some great connections.

It's usually a really great store with a very extensive collection of bourbon. The staff have been nothing but helpful to me and their advice is good. However when it comes to allocated and hard to find bottles this store always price gouges well over the distillery's MSRP. Bottles of Weller priced into the triple digits and three to four times the msrp. The antique collection will consistently go for $600 to $800 which is 8 times what's more than suggested. I could continue but the list is extensive unfortunately. I fully realize this seems to be the practice of local Liqors stores here in Maryland and yes they're are some who will buy at that price, however I venture to guess they lose good customers like myself with this attitude of pricing. I'ts very sad that the owners and managers of this store take advantage of both their distributors and their customers by charging prices you would see on the secondary market.
