I have a Chihuahua mix who is a nervous wreck, who used to be abused, before I rescued him. Therefore he has some aggressive behavior sometimes. I have to admit, I was a little nervous this morning dropping my dog off for the first time there. I knew though that he was in great hands with Dale. At first Paco did show his aggressive side, but Dale brought him in the back anyways to still try. It was a success, and now I have a handsome clean little man that smells so good and his coat is so shiny!!! Paco now has a new best friend and I have his next appointment already scheduled.

I have been extremely pleased with the grooms both Sydney and Toby have received at Dirty Paws Dog Spa. I am very particular and appreicate a quality groom. Dale is very talented in addition to possesing a natural artist eye. Sydney and Toby always look terrific. Dale does a great scissoring job with their body and legs which I have found to be a rare skill among many local groomers. I have found Dale listens well and works with me on the finished product. The dogs are treated very well as they are happy to enter the Dog Spa and are always in good spirits when I pick them up. Kudos to Dale and his grooming business!

Took my sheepadoodle puppy for her first grooming experience today, and I could not be more pleased! From scheduling the appointment to dropping her off to the end product, I was incredibly impressed with the professionalism and attention to detail. My sometimes-skittish pup had a wonderful experience, and she was clearly well cared-for and beautified. I cannot recommend Dirty Paws enough!

We have taken all 3 of our dogs to Dale for years, and he proves to be excellent, time and time again. While policy has shifted over time, he is always as flexible as he can possibly be with his customers, especially when you account for his constantly overbooked schedule (because everybody wants Dale to groom their dog, and for good reason.) We are in some crazy times, and have always found everyone at dirty paws to be more than accommodating! We will never use another groomer. You rock, Dirty Paws crew. :)

Dale and team are the best! I've been having my dog Bear groomed here for years and if he could write this review he would agree. All I have to say is want to get your haircut and Bear overjoyed runs to the door because he loves them so much. Dirty Paws staff is extremely friendly. Professional, and experts at their craft. I trust them implicitly with the care of my fur baby.

It was my dogs first experience at a groomer. They were so welcoming when we walked in. They told me they would go at the pace Myla (my pup) was comfortable at. When I picked her up she was super happy and clean! Highly recommend great staff! Happy dog! Clean dog!

We had our 80lb male Akita groomed and we are delighted with the results! We got a deshed treatment and Dirty Paws got every single bit of undercoat floof out, which our last 3 groomers haven’t been able to do. The staff was very professional and communicated extremely clearly while we set up our first appointment. We will definitely return and would highly recommend Dirty Paws to everyone!

I've been taking one of my dogs to Dirty Paws for about a year, and recently took my other dog to the spa as well. Dale does a wonderful job with my dogs, especially since the one can be a bit of a challenge, and it's well worth the drive for me, knowing that they are in good hands, and will turn out looking great when their grooming sessions are finished.

I brought our 16 yo Yorker for the first time and Dale with Dirty Paws did an awesome job. He made sure he understand all the issues my elderly dog had, and he fit me in to the shop very quickly. I highly recommend these guys!

I took my Cocker Spaniel to Dirty Paws Dog Spa since they opened. Dale, the owner, has been grooming my dog even before he opened his shop, and always did a wonderful job. When my dog had heart problems, Dale was very compassionate and gentle with him. I recommended this place to many of my friends who now also take their dogs to his place.

I have a Standard Poodle who looked "homeless" before Dale worked his magic on him. My dog has never looked better, more sophisticated and because he's male, Dale made him look "handsome" instead of pretty. Their spa is clean, well run and, I really liked the fact that Dale talked to me when I came to pick up my dog to let me know how the dog did, and things I needed to know. This place is really professional. A great find in Edgewater, MD. Easy to park, drop off and pick up.

Dale has been grooming our Roxy since she was six months old. She just turned 4. We love Dirty Paws and I won’t bring my fur baby to anyone else. They take great care and know my dog by name when we walk in. Her grooming is always immaculate and really appreciate that Dale is always happy to talk to me if I have questions. I can’t recommend Dirty Paws more highly!!!

We've had three cockapoos over the past 30 years and Dirty Paws has, by far, given our dogs the most "show worthy" grooming. They do beautiful work. We've been satisfied customers for nearly SEVEN years. Their staff is always friendly and professional. Very responsive to requests for appointments. ...Give them plenty of notice if you want an appointment, though, they are very popluar. For a reason. FIVE STARS!!

Excellent place for doing the dogs nails. They are very friendly and caring for our corgis. They are in the shopping center at the corner, with good parking there.You don't normally need an appointment during the week.They are worth supporting and they do have something dog treats for sale. You can see into the back while the nails are being done, which is very nice.

The staff @ Dirty Paws are exceptionally friendly, caring, show genuine concern for my Senior Citizen Cocker spaniel Marty. I have taken my fur baby to several different groomers over the years and dirty paws is by far the best place for my old Boy. The Owner, Dale is super easy to talk to and understanding about whatever I want done to my pooch, and also is more than happy to accommodate him while I work. He is always happy, clean, fresh smelling and excited when we leave Dirty paws. If you are having trouble finding a groomer in your area that pays close attention to detail and makes you and your pet feel at home, Dirty Paws is The place for you and your loved one!!!! I will be a life client of theirs!!!

Love this place! I have only used them for nail trimming, but I take my dog here regularly. They are always so kind and efficient. We are always in and out in no time and I love that we can see our dog during the whole visit.

I love this place. I have never had a bad experience here. The care that Dale shows my amazing little puppy makes me know this is a place where my dog gets the proper care. She is a little scaredy pants everywhere we go. But they make her feel right at home here.

Very upset and disappointed about this place, they are so unprofessional and rude. I’m traveling and my usual groomer is closed for the holidays. I booked an appointment with Dirty Paws about three weeks ago for TODAY, when I booked it I specifically requested to please do my dog first since we’re going out of town TODAY, they guaranteed they’ll do it as long as I was the first customer to arrive, I live 30 minutes away, planned my day ahead and started it very early in order to be there way before their opening schedule. They open at 7:30 am, I get a call at 7:12 when I was 9 minutes away a man tells me they couldn’t do my dog. I explained the situation and almost begged, the answer was “I’m sorry I can’t help you, I can move you for Thursday” he said he was already cancelling 6 other people and had 15 appointments, I asked again if he could please move someone else for Thursday and still take my dog today. He’s still said NO.But please take a look at their cancellation policy when YOU are the one canceling them.

My doggy has Chow Chow and Newfoundland heritage with beautiful long long black hair and he always comes home happy and handsome, and proud prancing about with his neatly trimmed feet. Never been disappointed there at Dirty Paws.

The groomers here love dogs, and it shows in their ability to calm them as they groom. We go do the nail trimming, and our generally nervous dog does just fine.
