The Royal Farms on Route 50 is a definite disappointment. Although the store inside seems adequately clean, the area outside is not. The garbage cans by the fuel pumps are always full to overflowing and the ground is dirty, stained and has garbage strewn around directly outside the store and by the fuel pumps. In addition, there is never any water in the window cleaner container. In addition, the squeegees themselves are falling apart due to dry-rot. Lastly, there is often no paper for fuel receipts so it is difficult for me to keep track of my finances. Therefore, I decided to go elsewhere for gas in the future. I feel like this Royal Farms does not really want my business.

I go to this particular Royal Farm store every day for coffee, and I can honestly say that it has improved tremendously due to the hard work of the manager Barbara and a worker named Sandy. The store is much cleaner and it is very well stocked. I've been a regular customer for about two years and have seen a complete turnaround because of Barbara and Sandy. They work hard every day. And they are very friendly, very pleasant people. They are very attentive to the customers that come to the store. These things really matter. I enjoy coming to this particular Royal Farms to get my coffee every day because I enjoy interacting with Barbara and Sandy, and because the store looks so good now.

As a regular I must say we are loving the new manager Mrs. Barbara. She is super personable, chats with us every morning, my kids love her. Everything seems cleaner, organized and the employees even seem different. More attentive and always smiling and talking with the customers. Best decision this royal farms has made in long time.

I live about a mile away and frequent this location. Never had I thought to review the store, until this evening.I'd set up a time to meet someone from FB Marketplace and he seemed to be a little suspect and it made me uncomfortable. When I got there, I went in to let an employee know the situation in case something went wrong. Not only did she seem genuinely concerned, she let another employee know and came out to check on me after a few minutes. Both employees really made me feel safe and I really appreciate it so very much. I wish I got her name, but she works at the food preparation end of the store.Many, many thanks to both of you for not making me feel weird about it ( I definitely did 🌝).Otherwise, this location has multiple EV charging stations and plenty of fuel pumps for both regular and diesel vehicles. This is where I get diesel for my boyfriend's monster truck when I have to drive it and fill it up with diesel. So, there is that too and not all stations carry diesel. It's a big deal when you need it and it's very convenient.

Very bad store. Hot chocolate rarely full or even working, store not clean, outside is horrendous and no one seems to care. Went in today to get meds and everyone they handed me was expired, 1 to 3 years expired. If you buy anything from here be sure to check it first including the food

Very disappointing. Definitely not up to Royal Farms standards. I understand a store can be busy and have a hard time keeping up but this was past that. The bathrooms were horrible. I decided I didn’t need to go that bad. It use to be a nice place to stop but I won’t be back.

Good thing a Shell was across the street... The air compressor pump did not have a valve on it, so I was unable to inflate my tire of which was going flat from a piece of metal on the road. Looks like it's been outta working order for a while.. When I notified the staff, they said they knew...things that make you go, hmm... They had air across the street, not free, $2 bucks, but I would have gladly paid here too if need be. In the remote location that it is, PLEASE FIX THE AIR PUMP AS ITS A GAS STATION NECESSITY.

Gave us only one of two bags of fried chicken we ordered. Won’t let my sister pick it up even though we were 1/2 hour away and she was right there with our receipt. They also missed part of her order. Two stalls out of 3 out of toilet paper. Needless to say, not impressed

Returned two inedible sausage/egg biscuits because they were way too salty and LIZ was so sweet and under standing…she allowed me to get something else with a smile. That’s why I co to ie to go to your store…she is a true asset to your organization.

I was there Friday evening. The coffee, as always, was good. The store was well stocked.The bad part was the cashier. I went to check out. No one was there. No one else in the store knows how to check me out. When the cashier finally shows up, she looked like she was hating life and I was the problem. She wouldn't answer my questions. She wouldn't talk to me. She wouldn't help me. She just checked me out and helped the next guy. What is going on here?!?!?

On our way home from Ocean City. Stopped for gas and something to eat with our grandkids. Ordered 3 piece white (2 wings and a breast) roll and wedges. I was short a wing. My wife ordered the hotdog which seemed like it was rolled in mustard. Our grandson had a blt sub which he loved. Granddaughter ordered turkey with cheese, toasted. Had no cheese and wasn’t toasted. To top it off NONE of the windshield wiper containers had fluid. NONE! Bathrooms were disgusting. Toilet paper stacked thrown in the corners. 2 plungers were obviously used and left on the floor. Won’t be back so won’t know if any of this will be fixed.

Workd's famous wirst chicken!!!!Got a 8 piece chicken for dinner tonight. Came ro find out that they substituted 2 wings for each leg. I was not told that when I picked up my order. All the chicken pieces were so dry that we threw most of them out.Shame on them for trying to pawn their dried out chickens. Certainly worst chicken I've ever tasted.Can't trust management to fix this so unsuspecting customers get screwed.

I went to get a meal and there was no hot sauce condiments. The other gentleman (African American) said I don’t give people free sauce.I could have paid and went to see an option to pay however, it could only be bought with a side or meal. Lastly, a lady at the counter said I will give him at her own risk. I hope she gets rewarded than getting in trouble for excellent customer service. Being nice is never wrong especially working in food and sales. I always go royal farms. Hope the other employee learnt it.

Bought a 12 piece chicken earlier this week. Oil was rancid. When I called the manager, she acknowledged the oil was bad……... ( how do you keep cooking in it knowing it’s bad? ). She agreed to replace it. Also bought a small mashed potato. It was at best a single serving with a very small container of gravy. Both were boxed, (instant) and they charged nearly $5.00. I understand the need to make a profit, but this is OUTRAGEOUS !

This store is an absolute disgrace to Royal Farms. The bathrooms were atrociously disgusting. Men's bathroom: poop in a urinal, stall a complete mess. Woman's bathroom: no toilet paper, boys using this bathroom because the men's room was so bad, trash overflowing and all over floor. Employees informed by various customers but didn't seem to care. In fact, one gentleman on the register just chuckled about it. Really? He was too busy watching other people play a nearby lottery machine. People allowed in, however disgusting, in barefoot. We observed women go into the bathroom then walk all around the store tracking all the nasty funk around the food areas of the store As a food service establishment, I'm sure a health inspector would have a field day with this store. Utterly pathetic.

I bought nearly $50 worth of chicken for the kids. Asked them for plate and was told "I am too busy to help you right now." Not a typical customer friend Royal Farm that I know. Disappointed! Perhaps next time we will stop in a different store.

Absolutely disgusted with food service staff and management at Cambridge MD location. We placed a $25 order for fried chicken and as we waited for our order, we watched the food prep staff make everyone's food without gloves on and with masks around their chins... the main woman preparing the food had her mouth and nose completely exposed. We then watched her wipe her nose with her hand and at that point we walked out of the store without our order. We lost $25 because we didn't want to stay in the store to try to get a refund and we certainly wouldn't eat the food. Very disappointed after years of being great customers

Normally I like going to Royal Farms for their chicken when I visit Maryland and Delaware. This was the first time I ever used a bathroom at one and it was awful. It wasn't clean in there at all, one of the toilets had a stuck handle that I accidentally broke, and the handicapped stall has a leaky ceiling. I really enjoyed getting hit in the arm and the head while I was sitting there....NOT. It looked like the leak had also been there for a while. Gross upon gross. I didn't eat the chicken at this one and I'm kind of glad that I had some at another Royal Farms earlier.

Gas, food, drinks (hot & cold), few grocery items, hot food (they have some yummy chicken) and restrooms. The bathrooms were gross yesterday, you could tell no one had tended to them in awhile. To be fair, they aren't always so gross. A big negative for me is you always see staff out front smoking.

This place was fine, typical RoFo, but no changing table. How hard is that? I swear, this country wants you to have babies and spend money, but just keeps sucking you dry and making it harder for families.

Trust the reviews. This place has turned into a nightmare. Staff is pretty awesome but due to bad management, they can’t do enough. If your passing through, you do NOT want to stop here. It don’t matter what time of day or how many people are in line. There is only one person behind the counter most times. Auto pay machines never work. Place is gross and not clean. I don’t know how they can be allowed to sell food.

This is the WORST Royal Farms I have ever encountered. There is always a line and 1 cashier. Drink counters are always sticky and gross. The chicken although hot is never fresh and the coffee taste like water. Not to mention the unhelpful/nonexistent staff that clearly see the line but disappear in the kitchen but take their sweet time clearing that annoyingly LOUD order board buzzer/beeper/alarm. I am an loyal Royal Farms customer but would rather Push my on E! SUV down the highway than stop at this location. DO BETTER!
