You would think that food shopping on the Saturday before Thanksgiving a food store would have all cashier lines open, with baggers, to make things move quickly. Acme thought the opposite! They had 1 line open and that was Express, 1l0 items or less. All 6 of the self checkout stations were available with the most condescending woman helping all stations that I have meet in a long time.It was obvious that this was an attempt to increase profits at the expense of the customers. On top of which, it appeared that some key Thanksgiving items has increased in price.The store was clean, well organized and has people restocking but I will NEVER shop here again because the bottom line for this Acme is profits and not customers.

Google maps lead me right there. Enjoyed the friendly staff. The parking lot is easy to traverse and well lit at night. I expected with a name like ACME, the choices would be slim... but the cleanliness of the store, well stocked shelves with lots of fresh and varied products was a game changer.Thank you ACME food stores.

Went there today and got some shrimp from the meat department and the man working never wants to make what you want I went and he said shrimp how many you want first off I was looking hadnt even decided yet. Then when I said I want shrimp please he said ok ill make you the already cooked ones I said ummm no I dont want those I want the raw ones and I want them steamed please and extra seasoned he got a attitude and said it will be a long time for those I said ok and I will wait. So then I got them they was not seasoned. And their was alot of water at the bottom. And this is not the first time this has happened. Happened again so go in today to get shrimp and same person working well this time there was 2 I knew better to oder any with this same person working but there was another so I figured it would be different ummmm nope not at all so we go in I get the bag from the freezer spot and asked for it to be steamed and medium seasoned please the guy said 25 minutes I said ok cool so went to look for bread but was sold out of whay I wanted so I went back and waitined the other guy calls us up to the counter and says what u order I said for the bag to be steamed and seasoned medium seasoned and was told it would be 25 m8n I said ok cool well somehow they gave us 4 punds which I did not order mid u all this was less than 15 mins one was ice cold which I told them I didnt want the other one was luke warm and not seasoned at all. This is ridiculous if people dont wanna do their job they shouldnt be there 😒

Getting tired of this place. No baskets because as they explained to me they keep getting stolen. This place has gone downhill in the last few years with the indifferent staff, deli that always looks old and tired and the checkout lines. There are so many better alternatives in town.

Wow very deceiving Acme store. The outside looks so plan; but, when you go inside this store it is wonderful. The produce, seafood, meat, deli and bakery departments all have fresh items. The produce is beautiful. The store is well laid out and very clean. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

This store NEVER checks expiration dates. I went to go buy liquid eggs once and the whole shelf was 10 days past the date. Told the guy in yogurt and he went to clear the packed shelf. 3 days later I went to buy yogurt at night. The yogurt was expired 2 weeks before. I told the cashier who said they would go get them off the shelf NOT. The same yogurt was still there 2 weeks later except now it was a month old. So I removed them myself and gave them to customer service. So fast forward to tonight. I decide to give them another chance since they were the only ones that carry the yogurt flavor I wanted. I pick it up and expired on 6/29/23. I say to the employee walking by excuse me these expired over 2 weeks ago. She looks at me and says just put them back on the shelf he will get them tomorrow. Wrong answer. I leave and see her leaning on a counter doing nothing. This store is going to make someone sick and they don't care.

Nice store, good selection of products especially in seafood and meat departments, but checkout leaves much to be desired. While the employees are friendly and competent, there is often only one cashier open despite a line going down aisle.

Very clean, fresh meats and seafood. A little high in prices, but the store is a lot better than it used to be. The cashier was friendly, but, the seafood lady need to get a pleasant personality. Otherwise very nice.

Great store. Best seafood counter in town. Clerks are the best. One guy at seafood is a credit to his trade. Unfortunately I think he is getting close to retirement . A little bit pricey....Try it you'll like it.

I don’t usually leave a negative review , but our experience lately with this store has been less than enjoyable. Since they have added the self checkouts —- I have had nothing but issues every time I go to check out. There is usually only 1 or 2 check out lines open and they are usually have a long line —so they force you to use the self checkout. These things are ridiculous. You scan an item and it doesn’t actually scan the item , then you put it in the bag and the computer alerts the lady that there are extra items in your bag. She fixes it , then when you take the item out of the bag , it alerts again that you took an item out of the bagging area. So this goes on and on and on. I even had an attendant count the items in my bags before , embarrassing to say the least. Like I wanna steal something. She was nasty and rude during the whole process which made it worse. Also , the prices have been ridiculous on the buy one get one free items. They jack up the prices to make you think you are getting a deal. Time to go shop else where. I’m done. Which is sad because I used to love this store.

Great place to get fantastic deals on frozen shrimp. Watch for deals on weekends throughout the store. Last weekend they had fresh lb-lb and half lobsters for $6.98 a lb. Will steam for you if that's what works. Delicious!!!

Is a pretty good place for getting meats from the deli. An banana's as fruit is more choices then anywhere else but higher price store is why i give a four they have alcohol aswell for those that drink if you go later in the evening you fo have to check out your self.

I was absolutely disgusting when I looked at my receipt when I got home. I didn’t pay much attention in the store because I was running late for an appointment. I could not believe that they charged $11 for a package of Impossible Burger. I got 3 😡 It is only $6.49 at Target or even Walmart. And yes it is the same size package. I realize sometimes Acme can be a bit higher but that is beyond ridiculous.

Our shopping experience was normal as usual, a little crowded as to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. However when we reached the checkout counter our cashier, Doug C, was most polite, efficient, and was genuinely happy to accommodate us with our needs during the checkout. He is, by far, one of the best cashier's we've encountered in a long time.As we were loading up the car with our groceries, a girl named Kristen offered to take our cart which was a relief because we were having trouble loading groceries and children. She was a huge help so naturally we wanted to tip her, however her vest that she is required to wear at work forcibly states that she was not allowed to accept tips (which she most certainly deserves at that moment in particular). We were apalled and truthfully disappointed in Acme as a corporation to subject their employees to receiving solely their hourly rate and not permitting the harder workers to accept tips, which are compliments. As a common patron I would love to complain about this part of the uniform that employees are forced to wear. I'm aware this will not change, but the work ethic that Kristen displayed was well above average and well deserving of a tip that we were apparently not allowed to give her.Both her and Doug were a pleasure to encounter as we were trying to get all of our errands completed.Kristen and Doug, thank you for your wonderful, pleasurable, and outgoing attitude. We hope to cross paths again.

Although pricy the place usually has what I'm looking for.Small things like, Arizona zero ice tea, which is hard to find elsewhere.My biggest reason to stop there on occasion is their, Lancaster fried chicken.. If you haven't tried it, I suggest you do. It is different than much of the stuff you can get.Not overly crispy and crunchy. Just crispy and perfectly done.

You can find cheap foods at the beginning of the month, but because it's going to expire soon. 50% of retail! Either freeze or or use it up! Helps me save money for sure, thank you Acme!

I have shopped here for years but today was the worst ever! Checkouts were back up so I used the "any size order" self checkout. Click or clip coupons write unavailable on my phi e app so checkout lady had them but they were only ringing up .01! Had to delete and re-ring! For what should have taken me a few minutes to check out, took me 20. Should have bought wine! Employee Evelyn...you were so nice and patient. Thanks for your help today!

I have been shopping at Acme for more than 20 years. Saturday March 23 I waited for someone to wait on me at the deli for 5 to 7 minutes. I never saw an employee so I bought packaged lunch meat instead. I finished my shopping and got in line and the cashier said she was closing her line. I looked for another line but they were all closed. I had a full cart. I didnt want to check myself out. That was my only option. When I said something to the only employee at the self checkout she was rude. I then told her I wouldnt be back again and that I had been coming there for 20 years or more. She just stared at me. This isn't the first time I have been treated like this lately. There are too many grocery stores in Easton for them to be treating customers disrespectful. I will be trying somewhere new this week.

This Acme has a great produce and meat section! I always try to get our proteins from here. They often do a 4 for 20$ special or something along those lines that makes getting the whole weeks protein very very adorable. They also have a lot of 10 for 10$ specials. I do find that some things are considerably more expensive here though. Rolls, poptarts, stuff like that can be a dollar or two more expensive. They also have a very extensive deli counter and bakery! My fav place to get pre fab cakes and stuff like that! Always Definitely our go-to when it comes to protein, produce, and bakery!!!

No complaints shopping here, I'm from PA, love Clearfield American cheese. You can't find it here where I love. I stopped in Acme in Easton and there it was. Bought 1.5 pounds of it. Well stocked in all items in just about every dept. Thanks Acme.
