The store was huge, yet well organized. The employees were happy to assist with help finding things. There was a lot of great selections in the deli department as well as their hot foods. The pizza is only $2.50 a slice and you get plenty of options to chose from. The wing/Asian food bar is also very reasonable. They are prompt at the register and one of the quickest grocery store lines I've ever been through.

Although their pizzas are tasty, this bush league outfit has repeatedly not been able to deliver on the time promised when we order pizza. This has occurred several times where it's been over 30 minutes after we were told to pick up the pizza that it was actually ready for purchase.

Ordered a cake online and the process was user friendly. I went to pick up the cake and when the employee handed it to me, I was surprised by the weight of the 1/4 sheet cake. When the time came to cut the cake the following day, my guests and I saw why it was so heavy.The cake consisted of mostly frosting and fudge with just a sliver of cake between the 2 layers. Will never order another cake from Harris Teeter. Very disappointing.So hard to find a good supermarket bakery nowadays.

Great store, it is fresh and clean with many options. I really enjoy the pizza cooked and sold in the store, it’s a great price and with the VIC card it’s even better. They have fresh sushi made onsite by an actual su chef. Seafood and meats are plentiful. Keep an eye out for flash sales they pop up from time to time and you can’t beat the discount.

Their floral department is outstanding. The floral manager is very talented. She helped me pick the right number of flowers for arrangements. Someone picked up small arrangements the florist had done for him which were colorful and bright. The assistant manager was also very helpful and responsive. Loved the service.

I have lived in Dunkirk for over 30years and in the first week of October my husband passed away.Things have changed drastically and have been very difficult for me. Sheryl was my cashier and I had told her that my husband usually was the one that did our grocery shopping; but he wasn't with us anymore and I was feeling overwhelmed and out of my element. I shared with her that this was my 2nd time grocery shopping for myself. She was so kind and understanding of my situation. Sheryl even offered her condolences for my dear Samuel. Her kind smile and conversation brightened my day. Thank you. I will continue to shop with Harris Teeter. I see why my Samuel loved to shop here.

Nasty - full of mold!This Harris Teeter location has a huge problem with SELLING EXPIRED PRODUCTS!I bought this on July 3 - so it sat expired and molding on a shelf for three days unnoticed by employees.Check all your expiration dates in store! It's a real pain to take things back once you discover they let them rot on the shelf.

I love Harris Teeter! I recently bought a family sized piece of salmon that, surprisingly, was not fresh. I returned it with NO TROUBLE! Received a full refund AND a beautiful piece of salmon! Thanks Courtney & crew!! Dinner was delicious!

Really like this Harris Teeters store. I'm handicap so I find all the employees very friendly and helpful.Mr. Rodney always helps me if he is restocking in the frozen food isle, so I don't have to get on and off the electric cart.

Always fresh fruits and vegetables front and center as you walk in the store. Usually some good deals/sales on these perishables.Great yogurt selection and their ice-cream section can usually get a smile out of me. Not a huge meat eater but the selection of "yard- bird", aka chicken keeps up my protein intake.Employees are always friendly and seem that they enjoy their jobs. You cannot hide it when your job is like bareing a heavy load so HT seems to care foe their employees also.And the gas points don't hurt either.

I enjoy my visit to Harris Teeter every week or so, but I have to admit my favorite part of my shopping is talking with and learning about the cheese section. Isaiah is so helpful and knowledgeable about the olives and cheeses. He has such a nice personality. He sells me. Heese even if i dont want any just cause of his passion. Keep up the good work.

I really like this Harris Teeter store. It's always clean and generally well stocked with a good selection of product. I've always gotten friendly service here. As with many stores these days it is often I find only a couple of checkout registers staffed so I sometimes end up using the self-check when I otherwise would not for a full cart. I like the butcher counter and find the meat quality to be very good.

I have shopped at Harris Teeter in other states and it's great to have one in Calvert County ! Everyone is super nice and helpful!! I love the variety of foods there. I will definitely be back to do my shopping! Thank you for your policy on being able to purchase one item at half price when the sale is buy one get one free! It was really nice to have cashiers at the all checkouts ! Keep up the good work and please don't change!!I still enjoy shopping at Harris Teeter and feel like I save money shopping here! The fuel points are an added bonus!!

The store was well stocked and the team was very engaging with all of the customers. Watched the Store Manager interact with his team throughout the building ensuring his team was executing. The fresh food department had a wonderful employee by the name of Kelly. She greeted us and others as soon as they got to the counter. She offered us samples of what we ordered in addition to an item that was on sale which we subsequently ordered. Great experience. Keep up the great work.

The store is clean and organized. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you. Some vegetables in produce section were not very fresh at the beginning of its grand opening but now i can see they are maintained well. Over all I like this place as they offer most wide variety of produce, meats, seafoods and dairy products in the area. Although, some products will shock you with high prices compared to other local groceries, if you use their weekly sale wisely you should be fine. Only down side I find is their rain check maximum count is only 4 and expires after 60 days.

The Dunkirk location was clean, neat and organized. WOW... I hadn't been in this location since before Covid!! And I quickly found eggs and bananas, which is why I went however who could pass up frozen Stouffers and Baskin Robbins ice cream - both ON SALE !!! Self-checkout was a breeze and the staffing was top notch.

Harris Teeter is known for its quality meats, fresh fish, sushi stand and its pizza bar. The store is well organized with friendly employees eager to assist you. Great store - I shop there often. It's my go to grocery store.

Wow, it's great to have one of these in Calvert County. Even as you walk through the door, the store has a very refreshing feel to it, and well-laid out design. I look forward to trying a lot of the hot food bars and quick meals they offer over the next week or two! I already tried the sushi and I would say the fish itself is about restaurant quality, and the rice was a little too compacted/dense for my taste, but good quality. Note: The whole store looked top-quality, along with the produce etc. RegardsUpdate 9/1/2018: Thanks for the wonderful Tomahawk steaks. They were very tendy and juicy, and a huge hit for my guests. Will definitely be getting more steaks from here with these great specials. I hope Harris Teeter continues to serve this quality for the years to come. Appreciate the wonderful service from Butch and the other gentlemen at the meat counter. Attached 2 pics of the steak I purchased from their special.

Not a single person in line for the deli. Didn't matter. Five workers and no help after waiting 10 minutes - didn't even acknowledge us. Came on Friday 6/25 at 1:50pm. I'll go to Nick's next time. They're fast and friendly. Two stars for Harris Teeter only because it's always a clean store and the checkout ladies are always nice.. But only goes so far when the deli workers refuse to help ya 🤦‍♂️...Switching to a one star. Would give zero if possible. ***Harris Teeter provides a great service of a personal shopper and grocery pickup - you are required to pick a time frame to pick up your groceries (this is great). However, lately the orders are never shopped so you show up at your allotted time frame only to be told there was an "error" and now you have to wait 35mins while your order is shopped. I would've just shopped myself. Then, you get home and find that your zucchinis are cucumbers etc... Beggers can't be choosers so this is par for the course. Although, when you go back into the store to make a return and nobody comes up to customer service to help you so you ask the guy sweeping if he can find someone for you and his reply is, "Maybe you should try a register where people are at"...Well, maybe it's time to find a new market. I told the manager, Sherri, how he spoke to me and her reply was, "he's a little special - not all there." he was there enough to sweep and speak normally. But hey, what do I know. I'm just a loyal customer. Unfortunately they're pretty much the only higher-end market in the area but if Kroger or Publix ever comes this way, I think they'll eat their lunch.

Online & phone service were great. Very good location. Great selection and clean store. Minus 2 stars because they forgot 2 of the 9 bags of groceries from my online order :/ BUT the staff was very helpful and the guy who brought the groceries to my SUV was very courteous so that bumped it back to 4 stars. I'll update once we see how they handle the mistake they made.

Great place if you have a Vic card. Some awesome deals each week. Not crazy about their rolls or subs as the rolls seem tough and chewy. The pizza can be good depending on who makes it. Now their ribs are really tasty and fall off the bone. I shop here for specials every week!

Love this grocery store, not only do they have everything I'm looking for but the staff is always super friendly. Tonight on a late night stop in an hour before closing, Courtney was leaving and she had her coat on and what appeared to be some personal items. She took the time to greet me, smile and ask how I was doing. That was such a small but wonderful act of kindness from someone that was prolly on their way home.

I don’t normally share this type of review but it’s necessary. I just leftover $300+ of groceries in the store and here is why: I signed up for the Harris Teeter E-Vic program due to the weekly specials. In the same day I happily went into the store and purchased most items that were on sale. During that time my phone lost service and I was unable to connect to my account. The discount program offered through Harris Teeter is free. When I was ringing up with Erica she immediately said I wouldn’t get a discount because my account was inactive, apparently it takes an entire week for this service to get “set-up”. Her manager, I believe his name was Elbert followed up with there is nothing he could do as the Manager. I left my groceries and lost an hour of my time away because the Manager could not help me with a no cost program to receive discounts in the store. My purchase would have required an active phone number. The Manager couldn’t provide an active phone number or store account to assist? He was not willing to offer any potential solutions, just shrugged shoulders and an “oh well” leaving a huge amount of groceries for his staff to put back. I’m sad for the people who work there and the lack of problem solving for all of us invoked. No one wins with this type of response from management and in this season of Covid that’s a shame. We all know what it takes to shop ins grocery store these days and there are so many options why not spread joy, be helpful and be more solutions oriented? I’m taking my dollars and going to another high end grocery that values their customers. It’s important that consumers know what type of customer experience they will experience at this local Harris Teeter. Needless to say I won’t be back.

Clean and well stocked. Aisles marked clearly. Went to the right aisle without delay. Found a nice assortment of options but was disappointed that the HT Trader (store brand) was not marked gluten free when several other brands version of the same item were identified as being gluten free.

The produce always looks fresh. Their produce manager is good at monitoring expirations, etc. They have a nice little selection of items for those of us with food restrictions as well. Sometimes they are the only store within miles to hold particular items. Overall it is a nice place to stop for groceries.

Lines always to long, selection poor compared to Giant and Safeway, bakery sucks (especially compared to Giant), overly priced, and the "gas rewards" program is a joke. Never shopping here again.. much better value at others in the area.
