We traveled all the way from Connecticut and had an incredible experience at the farm!! We did the regular tour followed by the private Capybara experience and it was wonderful. The staff were super knowledgeable, kind and welcoming! The animals were all well cared for and it was so fun being able to be up close, feed them and pet them. The private Capybara encounter was a bucket list experience! We had such a great time getting to know their amazing animals and spending one on one time with them. Leslie did the encounter with us and was so wonderful to work with, we learned so much and had the time of our lives! We hope to come back soon!

We went this weekend for a photo shoot with Otis, the baby cow! Everyone here at workhorse farm was so nice and helpful! We got to pet and interact with so many amazing animals while we were there for the photoshoot! You can definitely tell that everyone there truly loves the animals and that they are very well taken care of. Everyone was so nice to my 1 year old son as well (even the animals)!! Thank you guys for such an amazing opportunity (and the amazing photos)! We cannot wait to come back! ♥️🐄 🐫

My son(s) and I have visited WorkHorse Farm multiple times and every time it's always a great experience! The staff is so incredibly welcoming and tentative to every visitor, but most importantly the animals are truly happy and well taken care of They're all so gentle and friendly, and it's evident that the staff works hard at introducing each individual animal to the public on their timeline of readiness and level of comfort. They truly run WorkHorse Farm for the right reasons and it shows. I will be back again soon, and highly recommend visiting. It's a hidden gem and such a fun family experience!

We went as a group and owner was friendly but it would have been nice to hear more about the animals and fun facts of each.Lots of feces scattered around everywhere so bring appropriate foot wear.Occasional marijuana odor coming from the property.Some of the exotics included the zebra, water buffalo, African porcupine, capybara, kangaroos, sloth, ostrich, camels, prairie dog, anteater. Animals were well fed and looked healthy. Baby zebra was adorable and the ostrich was very lively and wanted to put on a show for usOverall, visit was interesting but we wouldn't make a second visit.

We drove two hours each way to visit today. I have to say it was so worth it. This was the best petting zoo I have ever been to. There are more animals than on the website.

I live close to the Workhorse Farm and have watched it grow to where it is now. Today was my first visit. It was amazing! We had ample time to see all of the animals and pet them if it was safe to do so. I was able to get some great pictures that I will be making woodburnings of. All of the animals appear to be well taken care of and living areas are clean. I highly recommend Workhorse Farm for any age. Remember them when you are making your tax deductible donations. It takes alot to feed that many animals.💞

We had such an amazing time at Work Horse Farm!!! I don’t know who loved it more my 7 and 12 year olds or myself!! It was such a cool experience to be able to be so close and friendly with the animals and they were all so calm and friendly!! The price for the farm tour was very convenient especially if you have multiple people going. The staff were all super friendly and very informative!! I loved how family oriented it was!!! We will definitely be going back again and again!! Job well done to the ladies at the farm, raising their babies and running a great farm!!!

We had the best time ever! They were very accommodating to our group. The animals are very friendly and the tour was phenomenal. I will be forever grateful for my first capybara experience. It was the best birthday gift from a great group of friends !!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars! Drive from Philly for a capybara encounter and it was amazing! The staff were so great and you could tell that this place is truly a family run labor of love. The animals were all super friendly and well cared for. We didn't do the full tour on this trip but will definitely be back. Such a wholesome experience for the entire family. Go! You won't regret it!

This is my second time coming and once again, the staff was incredible! They were kind and accommodating, especially for my mother who has a hip replacement and cannot bend down with ease. The animals were sweet and fascinating.I highly recommend the trip to this rescue farm for anyone who remotely loves animals. Definitely bring wet wipes and wear shoes you’re okay with getting muddy and dusty.

Had an amazing time here for my birthday!! A little rainy but they still allowed us to interact with the smaller mammals as it was too muddy for the tractor. All the animals are so sweet. I got to meet some of my favorite animals here and interact with them. The staff was wonderful and the animals looked very well taken care of. 10/10 would go again and recommend!!

I had a great time, lots of fun being able to pet everything. The capybaras are very chill, especially Clyde. It was cool being able to pet a zebra and a Camel.

We drove about 4 hours to visit WorkHorse Farm last year and I would do it again!!!!!! This place was great! The animals are so cute.. some are funny like the one that’s cheesing on the picture(#6). Got to hold a newborn Kangaroo! Pet the Capybaras (they’re the reason why we went). Highly recommend this place if you love animals and want an up close experience 😂 10/10 ! The staff were kind and friendly.

My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of experiencing a capybara encounter here this past January. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment spent here. Everybody working here was so kind and the animals were absolutely lovely. I wholeheartedly recommend setting aside some time for a visit, it's absolutely worth it! I hope to be able and visit again someday!

Great day with family! Love all the diff farm exotic animals. Extra chairs would be nice for older ppl who can't bend down to sit down on the trailer. Will be back again when it's cooler. It was way to hot/humid when we went. Thank you for an enjoyable time.

Found out about WorkHorse farm from my brother in law and so glad I did! We went for the first time with our two kids (5 and 2) and had an absolute blast! While our kids loved it my wife and I were amazed with all of the animals we got to interact with! The staff was beyond friendly, knowledgeable and caring! This will become a regular place for us to visit and will be bringing friends along with us!

We Had an awesome time at the farm, I am truly grateful for the accommodations of us arriving late and still able to have a personal tour. The whole family was friendly including the little twins. I was so impressed with the littlest tour guide Thanks again we will revisit soon.

This was a really unique experience. You get to pet all kinds of animals, including sloths, zebras, kangaroos, horses, etc. When we went it was very dirty and muddy, so make sure you bring clothes that can get dirty. The people there were nice and gave us crackers to feed the animals.

Work Horse Farm was the very best experience!!!! The staff were great and so knowledgeable and super sweet to my 2 yr old niece who was absolutely in heaven getting to pet all the animals!!! She tries to pet spiders and frogs - along with all the cats and dogs - so getting to experience these amazing animals up close was the coolest experience for her! For once I didn't have to try to explain to her why should could Not pet the animals - because everyone there is so friendly! The people included! I would 10/10 recommend this place for sure!!!!!! We will absolutely be back many more times now that we know this awesome place exists basically right in our backyard!!!!!

Amazing place to visit. Up close and personal with animals. The staff is awesome.I wanted to say thank you to the staff for helping make both of my daughters' days so special.My daughter's proposal was such a surprise to her and our family. We couldn't have done this without the help of Workhorse Farm' great staff.Secondly, naming the newborn calf, that was born that morning, after my other daughter in heaven, Chelsea, This is special to me, her mom. Chelsea loved animals and devoted her 19 years of life to them. This place holds a special place in my heart.We will continue to go to this amazing animal sanctuary every year, in memory of our daughter. We went here as a late mother's day gift. The staff is so helpful and friendly and the animals are so gentle. Most will eat right out of your hand. Apples seemed to be the biggest hit as a snack. Will definitely be coming back!

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. The people that work there are extremely nice, the rescued animals are definitely well taken care of & it’s super neat that the public is able to come, see, learn & pet exotic animals we would normally never be able to do that with. I would go every weekend if I could. Such an amazing place for all ages!

Staff was lovely. Animals seem very happy and well cared for. However, when I asked questions about “where the animals come from” I was saddened and disappointed to learn that many had been purchased (from a yearly exotic sale at a farm in Ohio) and that they even sell some of the babies that are born on their farm. 🤦🏻‍♀️ This is the antithesis of a rescue. If they are truly rescuing, they shouldn’t be adding additional exotic animals to the population. I was happy to support a true rescue. But, sadly, they seem to be adding to the problem of domesticated exotic animals. Not addressing it. My kids and I were left feeling guilty after leaving instead of feeling good about supporting something positive.

Our family had a wonderful visit with the capybaras! They enjoyed eating their food, and Clyde was happy to get lots of pets. All the other animals were great too-the tortoises wanted treats and the kangaroos didn’t seem to mind getting some pets while they rested. The farm is wonderful, and my family really enjoyed our experience. I highly recommend it!
