Very nice employees, good selection of all varieties of animal care. Has every brand and very common discounts on a lot of products. Was not 5/5 stars since the harder to find animals have unforseen expectation of arrival times, they can't do anything else about it. But mainly not on Petco's fault. Just a slight let down.

Petco of Denton MD. Poor pet management and customer service. Store manager Tim does not care about customers, would not recommend for pet purchases (fish and animals).

Petco Denton is wonderful. We were thrilled to hear we were getting a Petco with grooming services, because our senior dog Kaylee's coat had always been just a wild force of nature. Jess and the grooming team were just terrific with her, always sending her home looking (and feeling!) great, with a detailed report card and an extra pep in her step. When I called to book an appointment for my other dogs a few months ago, I had to tell Jess that our Kaylee girl had passed away, and she was so sweet and kind to me. Then when we got there, she and I think the whole Denton Petco crew had a really beautiful sympathy card waiting for us. I was more touched than I can say. They do a great job, provide our community's pets with a valuable service, and are just stellar people.

Nice store and people but loose stars for nickle and literally diming you by charging 10 cents per bag at checkout. Really? What's next? Gonna put in a coin machine and start charging by the square for toilet paper if I have to take a dump at your store? It's really petty.

Very easy to work with. Called in for an appointment, got one within 90 minutes, and Dixie was groomed and back to perfect within 90 minutes after the appointment. Very pleased.

Great employees. I came in at the last minute to buy a new leash because my dog had chewed up his old one... I also purchased some treats for him which I had left at the counter. I called the store and they waited for me to come back and pick them up even though the store was closed. Very friendly and helpful

It was my first time in the Petco area where they groom the dogs I came in I'm sure at the time they were quite busy but they still made me feel like I was the only one there they answered all my concerns and my questions in regard of getting my dog properly based and groomed and that a shocking reasonable price cuz I'm getting at the age where it's very difficult for me to do so and they were all so supportive and very helpful and kind and patient even though it's a little ways from where I live it was worth every bit of my time and and miles because I know they'll do whatever it takes to make my dog feel comfortable safe and

Ariel is wonderful! She was so helpful. She is so down to earth and caring. She must truly love her pets. She advised me to buy the right pet food for my puppy. He loves it! She gave me prices for a bath/grooming for my dog. She didn't rush me. The lady at checkout was also wonderful! She helped me with flea medication. Very kind help and they all really seem to love pets. My dog Duke loves the pumpkin biscuits!

I was shopping for a new puppy yesterday. Out of nowhere, Shawn appeared with a 20 percent coupon. He was amazing! He helped us choose supplies and showed us comparable things on the clearance rack. This process was quick and smooth with minimal interaction. I did need to go inside to purchase live crickets, but the staff was great. They limited customers to one in the store at a time. Thank you for doing your best during this difficult time.

Although it is a little on the expensive side for some things, you won't be disappointed. You can always catch a favorite on sale and my favorite grooming expert, Ariel takes super care of our senior canines. The staff is so helpful and the animals in their care are very well maintained making for a welcome environment for looking into a new pet.

Best groomer. Jess is awesome ♡ She took care of two of our fur babies, Peanut and Yoda. She did an amazing job and was so very patient. I highly recommend going to her or this location.Also the store itself is always clean and full of very knowledgeable and helpful people. Excellent supply of saltwater or freshwater fish. Highly recommend this location :)

Very helpful employees. Sadly they don’t carry much in Equine supplies. Maybe that will change in the coming years. Not much around here that does. Oh well will visit here and there for items needed for cats or dog.

two female employees where very helpful. I stopped in after work for dog toys because my three labs are power chewers and they need special toys. The first female employee recommended Kong brand toys and a Jolly ball. My dogs love these toys and the employees had great advice because the toys are super durable. I stopped in at around 4:45 pm. The second female employee was running the register and recommended that I sign up for the rewards program. Very very solid staff at Denton MD store and I appreciate a company with excellent custom service. Thank you for the positive experience and I will be back

Petco Denton always makes everything easy. Jess is the best groomer there and anytime I have asked questions regarding food, grooming habits, etc- she always gives great advice and her customer service is excellent. Definitely the best Petco in the area!!! Bella and I are always pleased with the services we receive here!!

This is the best pet store to get your fish from. I got great help picking out my guppies, plants, and encouragement on building my tank. I came here after having a bad experience at petsmart in Easton. That was a blessing because I found how awesome petco in Denton is!!! Thanks petco!
