This restaurant is unique. The food is delicious. Portions are pretty good sizes, and everything is fresh.Waitresses are so friendly and explain every single detail of the menu with a great smile. The chef is really nice and friendly as well.Restaurant is big with different areas and they are in front of the water with a beautiful view.

Went randomly one evening by myself and it was a cute marina restaurant. The weather held out so I chose to sit outside. There was another building a little further down the dock but I was on the one off the main restaurant. I got the oyster pearls appetizer (which was forgotten about and given to me AFTER my main course) and the crab stack sandwich (which they didn't toast, so I was a little disappointed). The watermelon cocktail was good. Had the sandwich been toasted it would have been way better. It wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure why there were errors, but they were minor. Not sure I'd drive all the way there again.

We just happened along the restaurant while we were sightseeing. A waitress came out to the parking lot while we were taking pictures and welcomed us in 40 minutes before the place opened and said we could order drinks before the kitchen opened. They have a little seperate area at the end of a pier that looks great for watching a game on their 8(?) TVs. We enjoyed drinks, appetizers, the view, and the service. The staff made it so nice and the food did not disappoint. I would highly recommend Skippers.

Loved this little gem! Quiet little restaurant right on the water, with a large deck overlooking the bay. The mussels in garlic sauce were perfect, oysters tasted so fresh they didn't even need any accoutrement, and the fried green tomatoes were paired perfectly with the garnish- very flavorful. I also recommend the classic orange crush- with fresh squeezed orange juice. We will return to try more items on the menu- it was really hard to pick as they had a lot of great dishes. Fast service and everyone was so friendly and eager to help with anything we needed.

I could not believe this restaurant was at the end of a housing development. Goals! I need to live here so I can walk here every day.As soon as we walked in we were greeted by friendly servers. We asked to sit outside. We were seated at an excellent bench seat with an umbrella right off of the pier. It was a beautiful day and a lovely view.We started off with a Caribbean Colada and an Orange Crush. I did not know Maryland was famous for Orange Crushes and now I know. For appetizer we got the Fried Green Tomatoes and Chesapeake Crab Dip.Fried Green TomatoesCrispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. The tomatoes came topped with a shrimp salad, remoulade and grilled corn salsa. The combination was amazing. I was definitely not expecting the flavor explosion.Chesapeake Crab DipThe crab dip came with warm Bavarian pretzels. This was the best crab dip that I have ever had. I think it was the cheese. The soft pretzels were a great addition. Best crab dip ever and I've had a lot of crab dips.It was so hard to pick an entree. We both decided on the same thing, the Mrs. Maryland. The Mrs. Maryland is a club sandwich consisting of a blue crab cake, Old Bay Shrimp salad, lettuce, tomato and smoky bacon stacked with toasted sourdough bread. We were full and could only eat half of our club, so we took the other halves home to eat for lunch the next day.We also the Double Chocolate Smith Island cake to go. Honey, when I tell you this was the most moist and chocolate filled cake ever, IT was the most moist chocolate filled cake ever.I also took the Summer Strawberry Beignets home for my daughter and she said they were very good.I enjoyed my food so much I went back the next day.I have referred several satisfied friends and family members to Skippers Pier Restaurant and Dock Bar.I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be going back again really soon.

I’ve had a tasty lunch here before (amazing crab cake). What keeps me coming back though is the incredible waterfront views of the Tracy’s Creek and Rockhold Creek marinas opening into the Chesapeake Bay. Just wonderful stuff at sunset with that pier bar and a Corona in hand. True dock bars are a rarity in the DMV area these days and this one is true to form with an authentic locals vibe.Parking: It’s a little tight so leave the sprinter van or boat trailer at home.

Beautiful south country waterfront with prompt and professional service and the best oysters I've ever had. Grapefruit crushes were also top notch. Varied menu accessible for vegan and vegetarian diners. We brought the dog and sat on the dock.Vegetarian options: Not extensive, but good and very tasty options. A lot more than the standard veggie patty token item

Great menu options and tasty food. Love the changing specials. And the desserts are reason alone to come to this awesome place. The water view helps to make every meal special. Pay close attention the the special multi course menus or the option to pick up a delicious pie around holidays.

Was charged $24 for 4 Miller Lite drafts at happy hour. When I questioned the bartender she said it's a dollar off bottled beers only. Everyone knows draft is cheaper than bottled beer. R U kidding me, that's highway robbery. I'm assuming the bartender didn't tell me because the check would be higher for a better tip. I could buy more than a case for $24. Meaning your Lousy service & atmosphere isn't worth it. U just lost a life long loyal customer 4 EVER...!!!👎👎

Skipper’s the real deal and offering the trifecta , superb seafood, great staff and awesome drinks. Located at the end of Drum Point Road, this restaurant offers an unobstructed Herring Bay.Came here with family for the first time and was asking halfway through dinner service when can we return next.

Soup could be hotter. Blacked grouper had right spices but not really blackened. But overall, good food and service. I will return for sure, but the rest of you stay away 🙂 Beer, soup, fish tacos, and tip was about $26.

Come here early, they will run out of the large and extra large blue crabs. The bread basket was good. They also have all you can eat shrimp deal for a great price. Think it is only on Wednesdays, not sure though. The blue crabs were perfect. The place is really in a remote area but the view is great. The patio is nice, a great picture opportunity.

❌️ No Mac and Cheese. They literally boiled the macaroni and added grated cheddar cheese to it as it's hottest. It's sooo bad that it's worth ordering just so you can appreciate great Mac & Cheese🐐 The crab clusters are 5 stars. The crab cake is 95% crab and delicious. The roast vegetables are excellent too.👍🏾 The bucket drink. Hits the spot like no other. Will be back, again. But won't ever order the soulless Mac & Cheese.

This restaurant was worth every second of the hour drive to get there! WOW! The restaurant it's self is updated and perfect, water view is everything you could want! Our service was excellent, attentive and friendly! The manager was so engaged and supportive of his staff. But the real star was our INCREDIBLE meal! We got oysters topped with crab, it was great! For an entree we ordered the Filet topped with crab and shrimp...it was out of this world!! Steak cooked perfectly, crab was delicious...I can't wait to come back! Plus they have their menu marked for gluten-free items so you don't even have to ask! Love this place!
