Mr. Scarborough is a diligent man who has maintained his shop throughout my entire life, and deserves more than just praise. I recommend his store for anything from fresh produce to tools. On one occasion, I was able to buy my dinner, pick up some new home decor, and get a 3 amp fuse to fix my hot water heater in a five minute trip. Some of my earliest memories, as well as my most recent purchases, have come from Mr. Scarborough's lovely country store.

This store is worth a trip. The plants, decorations, and hanging baskets are so reasonable. But the main draw is actual local products, competitively priced. If nothing else, buy something just to see the pre-digital era museum worthy cash register in operation! Buy local when you can - it matters!

My favorite local store. Have a little bit of everything. I have stopped in many times for Milk , bread , cheese or a soda. But also for other non traditional items like my garden seeds , flowers, misc hardware items. Just picked up my fresh turkey last week for Thanksgiving. Amazing!

They deserve 10 stars! These are the best people and family. A true Darlington legend. The store is full of standard stuff plus country decor. Also can service your vehicle or fix about anything. A must stop if you have never visited.

Convenient local store, very charming. I bought local ice cream, cheese, and eggs, but they also have seeds, plants, and general groceries. Will be back for their selection of local goods!

I have driven by this place for many years and finally stopped in to check it out. It is a real country store with various "sundries", but also cases of refrigerated and frozen meats, and produce locally produced. I've bought bacon, beef, chicken , and pork there several times and definitely recommend the place. Cash only!

Step back in time. Old fashioned convenience store. I buy my favorite local bacon and maple syrup here. They have meat from local farmers in the area.

A little old time country grocery store like I grew up with. Has a little bit of everything.... Canned and boxed foods, fresh meat, local produce, sundries, hardware, lawn and gardening supplies. And friendly people. I'll be back!
