Went in yesterday and just needed some shear pins/bolts for my snow blower. I was helped right away and they had both bolts and pins available. As usual quick and personal service. Years ago I bought a large amount of lumber from here and the wood quality was so good. Way beyond what you find at the big box stores. Have bought many things over the years for my house. It is such a great thing having a quality locally owned neighborhood hardware store. Please support your local businesses when you can!!

I have used Hyatt for a number of years for all my lumber supplies. They have a solid hardware store including paint ,hardware , tools and gardening sections. Talk to Paul at the lumber counter for your specialty items like doors and windows.

I love this store. They have a good selection of items across the price range and the people are always super helpful!Update: I've been a few more times since I wrote the review above and everything every time has been absolutely outstanding, from their superb customer service, to the cleanliness of the store and the organization and layout of it. It is all just perfect for what you want to find at a local hardware store.

Everyone is super helpful and knowledgeable especially at the "Lumber desk". So much better than the large stores like home depot. We were able to get plexiglass here for sneeze guards during the pandemic when everyone else was out of stock. Delivery is quick and inexpensive especially if you are local.

Almost always have what I need. There's always someone there with a bit of knowledge to help with questions. Very competitive pricing. Cashier seems afraid to say "I don't know". I've gotten some made up answers. Look towards the back of the store for technical advice and let the cashier do his thing in the front. All employees, including cashiers, have been friendly and polite. Poor, misdirecting answers are what I expect from Home Depot. I admire people that can admit that they just don't know. That's usually the reason smaller stores earn my business before the box stores.

Hyatt Hardware is excellent for a hometown quick trip store that is also a full service lumber yard. Variety is nearly what you'd find in a national chain with about a 15% surcharge for the convenience. Well worth it in today's time-strapped society. Get checked out by one of your neighbors or one of the experts. They have good high-school students as well as several long-time as floor employees. If you live near here for any length of time and patronize Hyatt, you'll get to know the friendly folks who work here.

This is the one local store I always enjoy shopping. Friendly service, and they have a surprisingly great variety of products, considering it's not a big-box hardware store like Home Depot or Lowe's. They obviously know their local customers' needs.

The best collection and choice of Nuts and Bolts in the area can be found here at this traditional hardware store. Located in the center of Damascus near one of the best High School Football team in the country. If you are looking for good service, hardware you did not find in the bigs stores; Chances are, you'll find them here. My personal experience on multiple occasions is testament to the claim.
